Founded in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canadá in 1997, Into Eternity is a cornerstone in the Canadian metal scene. Started by Tim Roth (guitars, vocals), Into Eternity quickly caught the attention of a small Dutch label that released their self-titled debut in 1999.
The next nine years for the band was a flurry of writing and recording, with the band recording a total of five full-lengths. “Dead or Dreaming” (2001) was picked up by Century Media Records, which catapulted the band into international acclaim and garnered them spots on tours with the likes of Dying Fetus and Katakylsm. Keeping with the momentum, “Buried In Oblivion” came along in 2004, followed by “The Scattering of Ashes” (2006) and “The Incurable Tragedy” (2008), the latter two featuring Stu Block (Iced Earth) on vocals.
With the exception of two singles, the band put recording on hold for a decade to tour internationally. With the departure of Stu Block, the addition of soprano vocalist Amanda Keirnan started a new era for the band. She joined the band as the touring vocalist in 2013, and after becoming a permanent member, her impressive wide-range vocals made their recorded debut on the band’s upcoming sixth full-length album “The Sirens” set for release in 2018.
We're excited to not only to announced The Sirens for August 3, but to premiere their new song "Fringes Of Psychosis." The song features solos from ex-Megadeth guitarist Glenn Drover and vocal performances by Eyam vocalist Chuck Labossier.

The Review!
1. The Sirens
A totally symphonic and atmospheric start, what a beautiful entrance! After the heaviness begins, immediately introduces us to the progressive styles of the lead guitars, the powerful and thunderous bass and a heavy and bold drums. Roth's harsh vocals are extreme enough to get into a darker style. Death metal, makes a mix of clean voice with enough diverse influences along with a variety of musical ingredients, although the ending was somewhat abrupt!
2. Fringes of Psychosis
Interesting acoustic entrance of the guitar with an electric guitar, opens with a quiet section. This song shows the voice of Amanda Keirnan in an impressive and very strong way that reaches the notes and beats the song in intervals, it has melodic density. The progressive elements are stronger in this track indeed! In addition to the changes in remarkable rhythm.
3. Sandstorm
A very smooth introduction, later could remember the fear of the dark with a rumble of technically well handled guitars, I like the speed of the battery, that blast gives a dark touch, although this is to the point the very cold and heavy section growling towards the end.
4. This Frozen Hell
Delivers us immediately with strong and aggressive riffs, backed by powerful drums. In fact the change of rhythms is somewhat disturbing, like a mix of songs with a style of Progressive / Melodic Death / Thrash Metal. The rhythm guitar sound of Matt Cuthberson easily gives way to the epic heights of Metal with a certain amount of emotional intensity. In this song, dramatic changes in mood manage to stay in the style of the song. The voices of Roth are strong, enthusiastic and with drama along with culminating guitars.
5. Nowhere Near
Open with distant voices and acoustic guitars I would say the most acoustic and clean song in electronic sounds and in voice. Roth's dramatic voices compensate for the discreet guitars while the song takes a long time to probe its emotional and emotional depths before the drums and guitars become more blunt. Keirnan's voices add a smoother, more ambient touch to the acoustic and sublime landscape.
6. Devoured by Sarcopenia
Interesting input and powerful speed / thrash metal, with its progressive touch. This is followed by harder, stronger voices that tear the space much darker and heavier. With big heavy riffs, powerful drums and just brilliant guitar solos.
7. Fukushima
An excellent vocal and progressive harmony, Capella opens Fukushima, followed by frenetic riffs of Progressive Metal, with a more own style (I appreciate the Fukushima theme of the nuclear accident that still worries us). The progressive interpretation of Roth's guitar is powerful and a highlight in this song, the combination of male and female voices along with the instrumental work creates a perfect experience in combined speed and rhythm.
8. Scattering of the Ashes pt. 2
Surprisingly the album closes with soft, acoustic, classical guitars, piano and synthesizer backup, all setting the end of the progressive musical storm perfectly! The voices of Roth and Keirnan strong and attractive voices, with a well-placed string accompaniment that leads to 'The Sirens' to an end.
My Recomendation
Into Eternity presents a complex album with musical aspects very well executed! to form the perfect progressive and at the same time surprising combination of technicality, memorable composition without being a continuous album, combining the discordant aggression of thrash and death metal with an old-school technique, with triumphant choruses and the melodies of classic and hard metal.
'The Sirens' is a nice and good album! For lovers of the genre is a combination of soft, hard, dark and pleasant sounds! This is the first album of Into Eternity in a long time, the explosion of creativity is understandable and remarkable.
With an extensive touring history, which includes sharing the stage with such well-known names as Judas Priest, Megadeth and Arch Enemy, Into Eternity takes the fans on an epic journey, a progressive metalhead of a good standard!

Voices
It is a brutal combination of incredible voices, which we can hear that some mix with the low notes, others with the high ones, but mainly the voices of Kiernan and Tim are the heavier ones! Which give the dark and amazing dark emotion to his new album!

La Reseña!
1. The Sirens
Un inicio totalmente sinfónico y atmosférico, que bella entrada! Después que la pesadez comienza, nos introduce de inmediato en los estilos progresivos de las guitarras principales, el poderoso y estruendoso bajo y una pesada y audaz batería Las duras voces de Roth son lo suficientemente extremas como para meterse en un estilo más oscuro al tipo del Death metal, hace una mezcla de voz limpia con bastantes Influencias diversas junto a una variedad de ingredientes musicales, aunque el final fue algo abrupto!
2. Fringes of Psychosis
Interesante entrada acústica de la guitarra junto a una guitarra eléctrica, abre con una sección tranquila. Esta canción muestra la voz de Amanda Keirnan de manera impresionante y muy fuerte que alcanza las notas y las supera a la canción en intervalos, tiene densidad melódica. Los elementos progresivos son más fuertes en esta pista de hecho! Además de los cambios en ritmo notables.
3. Sandstorm
Una introducción muy suave, posteriormente podría recordar al miedo a la oscuridad con un estruendo de guitarras técnicamente bien manejadas, me agrada la velocidad de la batería, ese blast le da un toque oscuro, aunque esto es hasta el punto la muy fría y pesada sección gruñida hacia el final.
4. This Frozen Hell
Nos entrega inmediatamente con riffs contundentes y agresivos, respaldadas por poderosa batería. De hecho el cambio de ritmos es algo perturbador, como una mezcla de canciones con un estilo de Progressive/ Melodic Death/ Thrash Metal. El sonido de guitarra rítmica de Matt Cuthberson, da paso fácilmente a las alturas épicas del Metal con cierta cantidad de intensidad emocional. En esta canción, los cambios dramáticos en el estado de ánimo logran mantenerse al estilo de la canción. Las voces de Roth son fuertes, entusiastas y con dramatismo junto a guitarras culminantes.
5. Nowhere Near
Abre con voces distantes y guitarras acústicas yo diría la canción más acústica y limpia en sonidos electrónicos y en voz. Las voces dramáticas de Roth compensan las discretas guitarras mientras la canción requiere mucho tiempo para sondear sus profundidades emotivas y emocionales antes de que la batería y las guitarras se vuelvan más contundentes. Las voces de Keirnan añaden un toque más suave y ambiental al paisaje acústico y sublime.
6. Devoured by Sarcopenia
Interesante entrada y potente speed/thrash metal, con su toque progresivo. Esto es seguido por voces más duras, fuertes que desgarran el espacio mucho más oscuro y pesado. Con grandes riffs pesados, potente batería y simplemente brillantes solos de guitarra.
7. Fukushima
Una excelente armonía vocal y progresiva, de Capella abre Fukushima, seguida por frenéticos riffs de Progressive Metal, con un estilo más propio (agradezco el que hayan tocado el tema de Fukushima del accidente nuclear que aún nos preocupa). La interpretación progresiva de la guitarra de Roth es potente y un punto culminante en esta canción, la combinación de voces masculinas y femeninas junto con el trabajo instrumental crea una experiencia perfecta en velocidad y ritmo combinados.
8. Scattering of the Ashes pt. 2
Sorpresivamente el álbum cierra con guitarras suaves, acústicas, clásicas, piano y respaldo de sintetizador, todo ambientando perfectamente el final de toda la tormenta musical progresiva! Las voces de Roth y Keirnan contundentes y atractivas voces, con un acompañamiento de cuerdas bien colocado que lleva a 'The Sirens' a su fin.
Mi Recomendación
Into Eternity nos presenta un álbum complejo y con los aspectos musicales muy bien ejecutados! para formar la combinación perfecta progresiva y a su vez sorpresiva de tecnicismo, composición memorable sin ser un álbum continuo, combinando la agresión discordante del thrash y el death metal con una técnica de la vieja escuela, con coros triunfales y las melodías del metal clásico y duro.
'The Sirens' es un álbum agradable y bueno! Para los amantes del género es una combinación de sonidos suaves, duros, oscuros y agradables! Este es el primer álbum de Into Eternity en mucho tiempo, la explosión de creatividad es comprensible y notable.
Con una extensa historia de giras, que incluye compartir el escenario con nombres tan conocidos como Judas Priest, Megadeth y Arch Enemy, Into Eternity lleva a los fans a un viaje épico, metalero progresivo de buen nivel!

Es una combinación brutal de voces increíbles, el cual podemos escuchar que unas se mezclan con las notas bajas otras con las altas, pero principalmente las voces de Kiernan y Tim son las de mayor peso! Las cuales le dan la emoción sombría oscura y alucinante a su nuevo álbum!
