Canada’s Red Cain is finishing their “Kindred” saga with the release of “Kindred: Act II”. The album was originally slated to be unleashed on December 4th, 2020, but due to interruptions caused by this year's main culprit, Covid, the band has decided to push back their second studio album's digital sales date to January 22, 2021, along with announcing the CD physical release will be done by Sliptrick Records at a later date in the new year.

 

The band comments:

 

“We are very excited to partner with Sliptrick Records yet again for the physical release of our next album, with this partnership helping us to sell over 1000 copies of “Kindred: Act I” in Europe over the past 6 months. To make sure we coordinate properly and deliver to all our fans worldwide, we are delaying the official album release to Jan 2021. But fear not, Varyags - because we will fill the gap with a monster single that we are particularly proud of, to thank you all for your patience.”

Explosive and forceful musical entrance along with prominent keyboards, drums and chords, a melodic and rhythmic track with some catchy refrains!

 

Demons

 

We continue with those rhythms, melodics and very striking chords! A song with more musical structure and changes in rhythm, excellent guitar work.

 

Precipice of Man

 

An instrumental song with an interesting and melodic vocal sample on high scales, synths with a greater part in the structure and later enhanced strength with a heavy bass chord and drums.

 

Baltic Flee

 

An entrance similar to the previous song, with a thunderous scream, in combination of long chords and faster drums! There are rhythm changes that make the style and voice change a bit.

 

Varyag and The Shrike

 

We have a good melodic and rhythmic base and with those synthesizers that give it that modern and dark style, a song between a power / progressive metal and as in the previous songs, discreet chords are present in the company of the voice.

 

Sons of Veles

 

A song in principle with a beginning from a low sound until it assails you with the force and power of chords, drums, keyboards and voice!

 

Sunshine (Blood Sun Empire)

 

And closing Act number 2, with a subject at a higher speed, with a somewhat constant and strong style, we have transitions and vocal combinations with sounds with changes in strong scales.

 

My Recomendation

 

"Kindred: Act II" album, they leave us a record with various musical contrasts, musical ups and downs too, it is not continuous, at different times they surprise you with some change, a mixture of scales and very noticeable changes in rhythm, from the soft part in some songs, even dense and dark parts in several of the songs, a strong progressive mix and very melodic power metal, they are a band of experienced musicians who give us a well-defined, real album with these seven tracks, for lovers of this genre it will be more than good and unique.

Red Cain de Canadá está terminando su saga "Kindred" con el lanzamiento de "Kindred: Act II". El álbum estaba programado originalmente para ser lanzado el 4 de diciembre de 2020, pero debido a las interrupciones causadas por el principal culpable de este año, Covid, la banda ha decidido retrasar la fecha de venta digital de su segundo álbum de estudio hasta el 22 de enero de 2021, junto con el anuncio. Sliptrick Records realizará el lanzamiento físico del CD en una fecha posterior en el año nuevo.

Explosivo y contundente entrada musical junto a unos teclados, batería y acordes prominentes, una pista melódica y rítmica con unos estribillos pegadizos!

 

Demons

 

Seguimos con esos ritmos, melódicos y acordes muy llamativos! Una canción con mayor cantidad de estructura musical y cambios en ritmo, excelente trabajo de guitarras.

 

Precipice of Man

 

Una canción instrumental con una muestra vocal interesante y melódica en escalas agudas, sintetizadores con una mayor parte en la estructura y posteriormente mejora la fuerza con un acorde de bajo pesado y batería.

 

Baltic Flee

 

Una entrada de forma parecida a la canción anterior, con un estruendoso grito, en combinación de acordes largos y batería más rápida! Hay cambios de ritmo que hacen cambiar un poco el estilo y en voz.

 

Varyag and The Shrike

 

Tenemos una buena base melódica, rítmica y con esos sintetizadores que le dan ese estilo moderno y oscuro, una canción entre un power/progressive metal y como en las canciones anteriores, acordes discretos hacen presencia en compañía de la voz.

 

Sons of Veles

 

Una canción en principio con un inicio desde un bajo sonido hasta que te asalta con la fuerza y potencia de acordes, batería, teclados y la voz!

Y cerrando el Acto número 2, con un tema a mayor velocidad, con un estilo algo constante y fuerte, tenemos transiciones y combinación vocales con sonidos con cambios en escalas fuertes. 

 

Mi Recomendación

 

"Kindred: Act II" album, nos dejan un disco con varios contrastes musicales, altibajos musicales también, no es continuo, en momentos distintos te sorprenden con algún cambio, mezcla de escalas y cambios en ritmo muy notorias, desde la parte suave en algunas canciones, hasta partes densas y oscuras en varias de las canciones, una fuerte mezcla progresiva y power metal muy melódico, son una banda de músicos experimentados que nos entregan un álbum bien definido, real con estas siete pistas, para los amantes de este género será más que bueno y único.
