Fate Gear female metal band from Tokyo, Japan formed in 2015 by former member of the band Destrose, Minako Nakamura and vocalist Nico Shizuka! Heavy/Power Metal / Hard Rock Style

 

 

Thank you for the opportunity friends! My great-grandfather was from Japan!

Who are they each one! Present each one please!

-FATE GEAR is all-female heavy metal project by me (Guitarist Mina), basic members are Drums Haruka Bass Erika, Keyboards Yuri, Vocals Nico, Compose, keyboards Kurumi.

Guests are latest album, Vocals Maki Oyama (Aco-Metal),  Manami (Innocent Material, Dragon Eyes, Dragon Guardian),Ibara (Emile’s Moonlight Serenade), Bass  Maki (DraiN), Drums idyako (Zestria, ex.G∀LMET) Violin : Jill (Rose Noire, ex.Hollow Mellow, Unlucky Morpheus)

As the style of this band, Avantasia, Dragon Guardian, Linked Horizon (Sound Horizon) are similar.

 

¿Which is the History to day of Fate Gear band?

 

-Since July 2015. First, only Nico and me. Releases,

Aug 2015 1st album “A Light in the Black”,

June 2017 2nd album “OZ -Rebellion-”,

Apr. 2018 3rd album “7 years ago”.

 

¿Why the concept of the album '7 Years Ago'? ¿Why does it have that name?

 

-This album’s concept is JAPAN EARTHQUAKE and TSUNAMI in 2011. All Japanese never forget this. Tohoku JAPAN needs more helps yet, I want to spread this fact.

 

Darkzen: I remember that event… really catastrophic, Well friends! Please! Support!

 

¿Who writes the songs on the album?

 

-I composed 7 songs. Kurumi composed “Arashine”, external composer Hirokazu Kato composed Chained-Destiny.

All lyrics wrote by me.

 

¿How did the production of the songs of this new album take place?

 

-I produced all of this album.

 

The video ‘7 years ago -refrain-’ is epic, strong, a delicate balance, all the instruments are coordinated, the voices made a great moment in all the song, ¿Why did you choose this song to make this video?

 

-Thanks. I think Heavy Metal’s cool moments are hig-tone shout, double-bass drums, lead guitar, and lead keyboards. This song have all things.

 

¿What other musical style can we find in each one of you?

 

-Recently I like Celtic music. I want to featuring violins more.

 

¿What are the differences between the album OZ -Rebellion- and 7 Years Ago? for you

 

-OZ -Rebellion- ‘s album story wrote by troupe Wataame-Koujyou and Nico.

concept is based on Wizard of OZ affected steampunk, science fiction.

We challenged to express the main character girl Raise, witches, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, and some creatures.

For this álbum, ¿Will there be a new video of some other song in special?

 

-umm sorry, It probably don’t make new videos this album.

 

¿In Latin America? Any surprise that you have?

 

-Tour is Japan only, we will perform with overseas bands at Evoken fest. Osaka 31.Aug.2018. Lineup is Nocturnal Rites, Orden Ogan, Derdian, Civil War, Dark Tribe, Voyager. I hope to someone invite overseas us!

¿Quiénes son ustedes cada una? Presente cada una por favor!

 

-FATE GEAR es un proyecto totalmente femenino de heavy metal (Guitarrista Mina), los miembros básicos son Drums Haruka Bass Erika, Keyboards Yuri, Vocals Nico, Compose, teclados Kurumi. ¿Cuál es la historia hoy de Fate Gear band?

 

Desde julio de 2015. Primero, solo Nico y yo. Lanzamientos, Ago 2015 1er álbum "A Light in the Black", Junio de 2017 2º álbum "OZ -Rebelión-", Abr. 2018 3er álbum "hace 7 años".

 

¿Por qué el concepto del álbum '7 Years Ago'? ¿Por qué tiene ese nombre?

 

- El concepto de este álbum es por el Terremoto y Tsunami en 2011. Todos los japoneses nunca olvidan esto. Tohoku JAPAN necesita más ayuda todavía, quiero difundir este hecho.

 

Darkzen: recuerdo ese evento ... realmente catastrófico, Bueno amigos! Por favor! Apoyen!

¿Quién escribe las canciones en el álbum?

 

- Compuse 7 canciones. Kurumi compuso "Arashine", el compositor externo Hirokazu Kato compuso Chained-Destiny. Todas las letras escritas por mí.

 

¿Cómo tuvo lugar la producción de las canciones de este nuevo álbum?

 

- Produje todo este álbum.

 

El video 'hace 7 años -refrain-' es épico, fuerte, un delicado equilibrio, todos los instrumentos están coordinados, las voces hicieron un gran momento en toda la canción, ¿por qué elegiste esta canción para hacer este video?

 

-Gracias. Creo que los buenos momentos de Heavy Metal son los gritos de alta calidad, los bombo doble, la guitarra solista y los teclados principales. Esta canción tiene todas las cosas.

 

¿Qué otro estilo musical podemos encontrar en cada una de ustedes?

 

-Recientemente me gusta la música celta. Quiero presentar más violines.

 

¿Cuáles son las diferencias entre el álbum OZ -Rebelion- y 7 Years Ago? para ti

 

-OZ -Rebellion- historia del álbum escrita por la compañía Wataame-Koujyou y Nico.

El concepto se basa en el steampunk afectado de Wizard of OZ, ciencia ficción.

Nos desafiamos a expresar el personaje principal chica Raise, brujas, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion y algunas criaturas.

 

Para este álbum, ¿habrá un nuevo video de alguna otra canción en especial?

 

-ummm perdon, probablemente no haga nuevos videos de este álbum.

 

¿En Latinoamérica? ¿Alguna sorpresa que tengas?

 

-Tour es solo para Japón, actuaremos con bandas extranjeras en el festival de Evoken. Osaka 31.Aug.2018. La alineación es Ritos Nocturnos, Orden Ogan, Derdian, Guerra Civil, Tribu Oscura, Voyager. ¡Espero que alguien nos invite al extranjero!
