The band was formed in summer 2013 by the participants of sympho-metal band "Lanewin", after the moment when Anna Beliva, the leader of this group, disappointed in metal and started her new solo project. After several vocal casting sessions, the musicians chose Lubov Antropova, who had charmed them with her voice and fascination.

As a result, there was a full re-branding and the band had been named as "ElisaDay". The band started to rehearse a lot and prepare the materials for a record. Musicians chose 4 tracks for their debut EP, which was named "Find the Answer", and then came to Finland to record drums in the famous "Astia Studio", where Children Of Bodom had recorded their best albums.

After that, there was a hard work with keyboards, orchestra and vocal recordings and in summer 2014 they started mixing and mastering all the stuff. The main producer and sound-engineer was Vadim "Wayland" Parshutkin from "Soundway Records". The album has received a lot of positive feedback from symphonic metal fans and other metal music admirers. The main thing is that metal is not the only style to perform by ElisaDay, but also the band borrows some highlights from other musical genres.

The band has decided to rework their sound conception to add some epic trailer and cinematic vibes to their music. In December 2019, they have released a single "Dark Queen" to make some sort of a starting point to the new perception of symphonic metal.

As a result, ElisaDay is proud to present their first EP of that new era of their sound conception, called Auftakt, which has been released in October 2021.

Inner War

Excellent musical entrance, totally Orchestral, slow and thick chords, drums opening up strong, a melodic sound and rhythm, soft and also dense, the violin excellent with those fast and strong movements. Excellent song.

Fire or Ice

We have an entry very similar to the previous song, The Orchestral / Symphonic and Fantastic Opera component is the main factor, with a tempo very similar to the previous song and now with heavier chords!

Poison Ring

This song with a touch of the Middle East, Arabic sounds and native folklore, the combination with those heavy and hard chords gives it more conceptual power and diverse structure in its musical style. Excellent track!

Hear Me

We return with the Orchestral - Fantastic Opera component with much greater content, this song to close the album has totally more the musical style that Elisa comes with, it has more Symphonic Metal passages than the other songs, as well as a vocal surprise, a guttural ! Which gives the song that darker and more evil side, as well as a clean masculine voice ending.

My Recomendation

ElisaDay's new EP is full of symphonic metal, combining operatic, fantastic and epic orchestrations with very heavy chord lines, with cinematic elements with high-scale movements and force, the musical style is somewhat similar in some Russian opera authors. Where Lubov's register is kept smooth, clean and clear and this helps a lot so that both the music and her voice are the focus of attention at all times, with elements of Symphonic Metal of course as a basic part, maybe a little bit of movements that touch the progressive part a bit, in addition to the song with Middle Eastern touches, it gives a slightly different twist to the EP, there are sublime and short riffs like in song one, and in song 2 with a riff towards the sharp, the last song of "Hear Me", is a complex, fluid, melodic song, even romantic I could say, with different musical elements and voices especially also, a male voice with explosions causes the most extreme vocals such as the guttural one, which later ends with a clean twist, with the same energy and a passionate duet between the two is heard, very original.

The Voice

Lubov's beautiful voice is charming, clean, soft, angelic, with a beautiful register, maintaining a tessitura throughout the EP, you will be able to notice it, the greatest vocal splendor is the last song handling three voices, guttural, clean in the voice of her and the clean voice in him.

La banda fue formada en verano de 2013 por los participantes de la banda de sympho-metal "Lanewin", luego del momento en que Anna Beliva, la líder de este grupo, decepcionó con el metal y comenzó su nuevo proyecto en solitario. Después de varias sesiones de casting vocal, los músicos eligieron a Lubov Antropova, quien los había encantado con su voz y fascinación.

Como resultado, hubo un cambio de marca completo y la banda fue nombrada como "ElisaDay". La banda empezó a ensayar mucho y a preparar los materiales para un disco. Los músicos eligieron 4 temas para su EP debut, que se llamó "Find the Answer", y luego vinieron a Finlandia para grabar la batería en el famoso "Astia Studio", donde Children Of Bodom había grabado sus mejores álbumes.

Excelente entrada musical, Orquestal totalmente, Acordes lentos y gruesos, batería abriendo paso fuerte, un sonido y ritmo melódico, suave y también denso, el violín excelente con esos movimientos rápidos y fuertes. Excelente canción.

Fire or Ice

Tenemos una entrada muy similar a la canción anterior, El componente Orquestal/Sinfónico y Operístico Fantástico es el factor principal, con un tempo muy parecido a la canción anterior y ahora con acordes más pesados!

Poison Ring

Esta canción con un toque de medio oriente, sonidos árabes y folklore nativo, la combinación con esos acordes pesados y duros le da más poder conceptual y estructura diversa en su estilo musical. ¡Excelente pista!

Hear Me

Volvemos con el componente Orquestal – Operístico Fantástico con mucho mayor contenido, esta canción para cerrar el albúm tiene totalmente más el estilo musical con el que viene Elisa, tiene más pasajes de Metal Sinfónico que las otras canciones, además de una sorpresa vocal, un gutural! Que le da esa parte más oscura y malvada a la canción, además de un cierre con voz masculina limpia.

Mi Recomendación

El nuevo EP de ElisaDay está repleto de metal sinfónico, combinando orquestaciones operísticas, fantásticas y épicas con líneas de acordes muy pesadas, con elementos cinematográficos con movimientos de alta escala y fuerza, el estilo musical es algo parecido en algunos autores de óperas de Russia y donde el registro de Lubov se mantiene suave, limpia y clara y esto ayuda mucho a que tanto la música como la voz de ella sean el foco de atención en todo momento, con elementos de Metal Sinfónico por supuesto como parte básica, quizás un poco de movimientos que tocan un poco la parte progresiva, además de la canción con toques del Medio Oriente, le da un giro un poco diferente al EP, hay riffs sublimes y breves como en la canción uno, y en la canción 2 con un riff hacia el agudo, la última canción de "Hear Me", es una canción compleja, fluida, melódica, hasta romántica podría decir, con elementos musicales distintos y las voces sobre todo también, una voz masculina con explosiones ocasionales vocales más extremas como el gutural, que después desemboca con un giro limpio, con la misma energía y se escucha un dueto apasionante entre ambos muy original.
