Incredible Japanese artist Saeko Kitabae is back on Pride & Joy Records with a new album titled Holy Are We Alone, featuring hard-hitting drummers such as Michael Ehré (Primal Fear), Gamma Ray), and while original member Lars Ratz (From Metalium - RIP) Italian guitarist Guido Benedetti and co-writer of the album with Alessandro Sala (Rhapsody of Fire, Sinestesia) on bass, completing this super group.

A beautiful atmospheric beginning, piano and with a lot of heart, to break the spell with the beautiful interpretation of Saeko!

Japan: In My Dream

Excellent musical beginning, a heavy metal with strong chords, a guitar riff and bass fill the space along with Saeko's voice in combination of forceful guitar lines and constant drums gives a bit of Melodic style to this song sung in Japanese. /English

Syria: Music My Love

An excellent change musically, with elements of power and symphonic metal here and with Middle Eastern Folklore! Greater speed, melodic chords as well as Saeko's voice and drums.

UK: Never Say Never

My Recomendation

An album with many musical influences and styles that can be mixed in an excellent way, with this album, Saeko transmits us the strength, skill and power with which she returns, in all the songs there are brief intros, which mark a tone and style of the region of the world that plays the song and to this we add the lyrics that give more weight and message of each musical track, an album full of Folklore and excellent musical styles! The tones, style and textures of the songs are varied and structured, hard and short riffs, strong drums, although there is a style of its own throughout the album with heavy / power metal with some heavy and light passages and we can add an operatic part / symphony, a diverse musical journey an intro and ending with the same perspective.

Holy Are We Alone, is a unique combination, focus and theme. A conceptual story, with calm and thoughtful sounds, sometimes powerful, and intense, with lyrics from the regions it plays in each song. The album has many musical influences and cultural elements, it is a strong and well worked release.

The Voice

Saeko's voice is surprising and it is what weighs a lot in this album! Her voice gives the perfect tone if it will be light, heavy or faster. The song has a very good range, register and vocal reach with good control, clean and clear register. It can have lower ranges or rise higher in vibrato according to the scale of the song.

La increíble artista japonés Saeko Kitabae está de regreso en Pride & Joy Records con un nuevo álbum titulado Holy Are We Alone, en combinación de una batería contundente como es Michael Ehré (Primal Fear ), Gamma Ray), y mientras el miembro original Lars Ratz (De Metalium que RIP) el guitarrista italiano Guido Benedetti y coescritor del álbum junto a Alessandro Sala (Rhapsody of Fire, Sinestesia) en el bajo, completando está súper agrupación.

Un bello inicio atmosférico, de piano y con mucho corazón, para romper el hechizo con la bella interpretación de Saeko!

Japan: In My Dream

Excelente inicio musical, un heavy metal con acordes fuertes, un riff de guitarra y el bajo llenan el espacio junto a la voz de Saeko en combinación de líneas de guitarras contundentes y batería constante le da un poco de estilo Melódico a esta canción cantada en Japonés/Ingles

Syria: Music My Love

Un cambio excelente musicalmente, con elementos de power y metal sinfónico aquí y con el Folklore del Medio Oriente! Mayor velocidad, acordes melódicos al igual que la voz de Saeko y batería.

UK: Never Say Never

Empezando con un poco de sonido acústico de viento, y también el Folklore de UK, una canción con estilo más apegado al sonido del antiguo Reino Unido, con un poco de toque melódico y mitología con tono más ligero y un tempo lento.

Comenzando con acordes, batería más rápidos y pesados, la voz de Saeko con un falsete mas agudo y alto de forma fenomenal! Un toque Operístico y en contexto con una historia con más influencia alemana.

Volvemos con el Folklore referente a la región y ahora con el estilo indú de forma fuerte, sonidos duros y acordes que abren compas a la gran voz de Saeko!

Y finalmente cerrando con la misma estructura musical que al inicio del albúm, de forma narrativa, atmosférica y profunda.

Mi Recomendación

Un albúm con muchas influencias musicales y estilos que se logran mezclar de excelente forma, con este albúm, Saeko nos trasmite la fuerza, habilidad y potencia con la que regresa, en todas las canciones hay intros breves, que marcan un tono y estilo de la región del mundo que toca la canción y a esto le agregamos la letra que da más peso y mensaje de cada pista musical, un albúm lleno de Folklore y estilos musicales excelentes! Los tonos, el estilo y texturas de las canciones son variados y estructurados, riffs duros y breves, batería fuerte, aunque hay un estilo propio en todo el albúm con heavy/power metal con algunos pasajes pesados y ligeros y le podemos agregar una parte Operística/Sinfónica, un viaje musical diverso un intro y final con la misma perspectiva.

Holy Are We Alone, es una combinación única, enfoque y tema. Una historia conceptual, con sonidos tranquilos y reflexivos, a veces poderosos, e intensos, con letras de las regiones que toca en cada canción. El albúm tiene muchas influencias musicales y elementos culturales, es un lanzamiento fuerte y bien trabajado.
