In January 2017 we released our first EP ASTORIA, booked 40 shows and played among others also as support for Destruction and Sepultura. We were heroes of tomorrow in Metal Hammer and also reviewed in all other relevant magazines. Musically ASTORIA is somewhere between Heavy and Thrash and bands like Iron Maiden, Satan and Anthrax inspired our sound and look.

In 2018 came our first longplayer IN LUCID, which we produced together with Rolf Munkes (Tony Martin, Crematory). On this record we tried to combine influences from black, heavy and progressive metal in such a way that a unique mix is created that surprises the listener. Leaning on bands like In Solitude and Tribulation with a good portion of sophisticated heavy metal. The artwork was drawn by Adrian Baxter (Mayhem, Cloak...). Over the next two years we played around 70 gigs, including the first co-headlining tour with Pripjat, opening for bands like Tribulation, Skull Fist, Striker, Loudness, Tankard, Mantar, Night Demon.... and among others in Sweden, France, Czech Republic, Austria and Italy. Of course, own music videos were produced and interviews with scene greats like Rock Antenne, Rock Hard etc. were conducted.

The World As Will

Chords and solos from the beginning, conceptual rock sounds, low-scale melodic parts, with progressive movements and violin parts that combine very well that give a lot of background to the song and with the versatile voice of Elias.

Alter The Rift

Totally a very sophisticated beginning with a piano overture that is only the entrance with riffs and melodic guitars in combination of drums, that beginning does not break the composition, on the contrary, it gives more emphasis to the musical structure with those percussion lines that also It provides a bit of a gothic vibe with a dark touch.

Sublime Me

Sublime progressive movements in combination of scales with slow and acoustic parts and rough parts like that chord line that marks the pace and movements in tempos with the riffs.

My Recomendation

A three track EP, focused on recurrence and nature, a progressive heavy metal, with a bit of darkness there are layers of guitar riffs and chords done excellently with embellished parts of acoustic guitars and other instruments such as piano and violins. Elias Witzigmann's versatile voice leads those parts with high scales in some passages and a consistent, punchy drums. For fans of progressive heavy metal it will be a great EP!

En enero de 2017 lanzamos nuestro primer EP ASTORIA, reservamos 40 shows y tocamos, entre otros, también como soporte para Destruction y Sepultura. Fuimos los héroes del mañana en Metal Hammer y también reseñamos en todas las demás revistas relevantes. Musicalmente ASTORIA está en algún lugar entre Heavy y Thrash y bandas como Iron Maiden, Satan y Anthrax inspiraron nuestro sonido y apariencia.

En 2018 llegó nuestro primer long player IN LUCID, que produjimos junto con Rolf Munkes (Tony Martin, Crematorio). En este disco intentamos combinar influencias del black, heavy y metal progresivo de tal manera que se crea una mezcla única que sorprende al oyente. Apoyándose en bandas como In Solitude y Tribulation con una buena ración de heavy metal sofisticado. La obra de arte fue dibujada por Adrian Baxter (Mayhem, Cloak ...). Durante los siguientes dos años tocamos alrededor de 70 conciertos, incluida la primera gira de co-cabezas de cartel con Pripjat, abriendo para bandas como Tribulation, Skull Fist, Striker, Loudness, Tankard, Mantar, Night Demon ... y entre otros en Suecia, Francia, República Checa, Austria e Italia. Por supuesto, se produjeron videos musicales propios y se realizaron entrevistas con grandes de la escena como Rock Antenne, Rock Hard, etc.

Acordes y solos desde el inicio, sonidos rockeros conceptuales, partes melódicas a baja escala, con movimientos progresivos y partes de violín que combinan muy bien que le dan mucho fondo a la canción y con la versátil voz de Elias.

Alter The Rift

Totalmente un inicio muy sofisticado con una obertura de piano que solo es la entrada con riffs y guitarras melódicas en combinación de batería, ese inicio no rompe la composición, al contrario, le da más énfasis a la estructura musical con esas líneas de percusión que también proporciona un poco de ambiente gótico con un toque oscuro.

Sublime Me

Movimientos sublimes progresivos en combinación de escalas con partes lentas y acústicas y partes ásperas como esa línea de acordes que marca el paso y movimientos en tempos con los riffs.

Mi Recomendación

Un EP de tres pistas, centrado en la recurrencia y en la naturaleza, un heavy metal progresivo, con un poco de oscuridad hay capas de riffs y acordes de guitarra hechas de manera excelente con partes adornadas de guitarras acústicas y otros instrumentos como el piano y violines. La versátil voz de Elias Witzigmann lidera esas partes con escalas altas en algunos pasajes y una batería constante y contundente. Para los fanáticos del heavy metal progresivo será un gran EP!
