LOVEBITES, one of the most important Japanese heavy metal bands, returns from its hiatus with a new member and a new album. JUDGEMENT DAY, the titled album, will be the first to feature the band's new line-up, with new bassist Fami, who was selected after an audition process at just 20 years old. The sound and rhythm of the album is fast, melodic and the heavy metal that LOVEBITES has excelled in since their debut continues to burn with great force. Newcomer Fami also brings additional charm to the quintet. The album contains ten brand new songs, mixed and mastered by Finnish masterminds Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila, who have worked on all of the band's studio albums! This is Lovebites!

My Recomendation

Opening strongly in an explosive and brutal way!!! Those well harmonized, melodic chords, with full speed in those riffs with changes in tone with their double kick pedal rhythms, the tempos and the coordinations in that powerful line of guitars between Midori and Miyako! Plus Haruna's ferocious speed on the drums, no doubt the iconic self-titled song making its Judgment Day appearance with a little more musical structure in the slightly slow bass line, heavily made chord line and with more containment, but keeping that heavy line! Here we have a little more run time on those smashing and melodic riffs, Haruna's drums really give the song that power and heaviness! With The Spirit Lives On we have back the characteristic speed and energy of Power metal and a bit like at the beginning of the album, the track melody and very harmonic, with Wicked Witch we have an entry with more British eighties Heavy metal content with that classic touch in the high and semi-heavy guitars, in Stand and Deliver, it has a more than great heavy beginning in the bass line in which Fami shines with his characteristic technique of 'slap-bass' together with that super chord distortion of the powerful Midori ! With a style the song with the most Hard Rock/Heavy/Power metal content! They all manage to maintain this extraordinary momentum and coordination in the track and choruses, in My Orion we have a heavy beginning in the chords, slow rhythms and with a deeper and denser sound, with Lost in the Garden speed and classic and romantic sounds of a power cool metal! And closing with Soldier Stands Solitarily, a marvelous solo with those high chords and then a powerful battery that is totally explosive, fast and at its best! Haruna is amazing!

The band's new album gives us screaming, smashing, fast, heavy, melodic sounds and thunderous bass lines and fast, powerful drums that your eardrums will never hear. The powerful LOVEBITES have a powerful sound and style on this album.

The Voice

Asami's beautiful voice, clean and high pitched, always gives that simplicity to each melody, with the changes in tempos, rhythms and sounds in those chords make her voice come out with more drive on each track and out of the background sound.

LOVEBITES, una de las más importantes bandas del heavy metal japonés, regresa de su pausa con un nuevo miembro y un nuevo álbum. JUDGEMENT DAY, el álbum titulado, será el primero en presentar la nueva formación de la banda, con la nueva bajista Fami, quien fue seleccionada después de un proceso de audición con tan solo 20 años. El sonido y ritmo del álbum es rápido, melódico y de heavy metal en el que LOVEBITES se ha destacado desde su debut sigue ardiendo con mucha fuerza. La recién llegada Fami también aporta un encanto adicional al quinteto. El álbum contiene diez canciones completamente nuevas, mezcladas y masterizadas por los autores intelectuales finlandeses Mikko Karmila y Mika Jussila, quienes han trabajado en todos los álbumes de estudio de la banda! Esto es Lovebites!

Mi Recomendación

​

Abriendo fuertemente de manera explosiva y brutal!!! Esos acordes bien armonizados, melódicos, con total velocidad en esos riffs con cambios en tono con sus ritmos de pedal de bombo doble, los tempos y las coordinaciones en esa línea potente de guitarras entre Midori y Miyako! Mas la velocidad feroz de Haruna en la batería, sin duda alguna la canción icónica con el nombre del mismo álbum haciendo su aparición Judgement Day con un poco de mayor estructura musical en la línea de bajo un poco lenta, la línea de acordes fuertemente hecha y con mayor contención, pero manteniendo esa línea pesada! Aquí tenemos un poco de mayor tiempo de ejecución en esos riffs demoledores y melódicos, la batería de Haruna realmente le da esa potencia y pesadez a la canción! Con The Spirit Lives On tenemos de vuelta la velocidad y energía característica de Power metal y un poco como al inicio del álbum, melodía la pista y muy armónica, con Wicked Witch tenemos una entrada con mayor contenido de Heavy metal ochentero británico con ese toque clásico en las guitarras agudas y semi pesadas, en Stand and Deliver, tiene un comienzo más que genial pesado en la línea de bajo la cual Fami brille con su técnica característica de 'slap-bass' junto a esa súper distorsión de acordes de la poderosa Midori! Con un estilo la canción con mayor contenido de Hard Rock/Heavy/Power metal! Todas logran mantener este extraordinario impulso y coordinación en la pista y coros, en My Orion tenemos un inicio pesado en los acordes, ritmos lentos y con un sonido más grave y denso, con Lost in the Garden velocidad y sonidos clásicos y románticos de un power metal genial! Y cerrando con Soldier Stands Solitarily un maravillo solo con esos acordes agudos y después una potente batería totalmente explosiva, rapida y a todo lo que da! Haruna es increíble!

El nuevo álbum de la banda nos dan unas guitarras que gritan, destrozan, rápidas, pesadas, sonidos melódicos y las líneas de bajo fuertes y una batería rápida y potente que tus tímpanos jamás escucharán. Las potentes LOVEBITES tiene un poderoso sonido y estilo en este álbum.

La Voz

La bella voz de Asami, limpia y aguda siempre le da esa sencillez a cada melodía, con los cambios en tempos, ritmos y sonidos en esos acordes hacen que en cada pista la voz de ella salga con mayor empuje y sobre salga del sonido de fondo.
