Greetings! My dear readers, I'm bringing you a review and a small biography of a Mexican band Goth / Death Metal album that gives us a great musical quality and a very good voice technique, here some of them.

 

The band starts in May and June of 2011, founded by Charly Gracida (Guitar) and Nadeny (Soprano Lirica) having as companions to Vicente Aguilar (drums), John Vander (keyboards and guttural voice) Rafa Romero (bass), playing covers the beginning of Symphonic Metal as "epic", "Nightwish", "Therion", "Sirenia" and "Xandria".

 

Then out of the lineup for personal reasons Vincent and John , making way for the arrival of Dann Ojeda ( Drums) and Rocke Reyes ( guitar and guttural vocal) . Initiating the project of original music, voice mixing music , lyric soprano accompanied by forceful and aggressive guitars , using grunts , in English and Spanish with a mythical concept in their lyrics ; lyrics that deal with mythological characters , fantasies and realities bringing you a dumb imagination.

The style of the band also shows sounds near death and touches of black metal , finding results in January 2012, a demo with 3 songs that have been well accepted within the scene as having greatest achievement appear on the compilation " Chants Night 3 " disc that brings together the best bands on the national scene .

 

In April 2013 departure from the band for personal reasons Dann Ojeda leaving a legacy of work which will be the first album of the band and went on to give the arrival of Satoshi Lira on drums. With only 4 members ( Nadeny , Charly , Leo and Satoshi ) is decided to start recording their first album in collaboration with the throaty voice of Eduardo Medrano ( Eternal Night ) and starting a new, stronger and mature stage that bore fruit in the first official album Dreams and Realities band released on November 30 of that year.

 

Later in March 2014 fully integrates Eduardo Medrano on guitar and guttural voice being the complete lineup.

 

The name derives from the song of Polish band Epitafium Osteoarthritis . As the definition describes the inscription on a tombstone or monument commemorating the deceased , and made ​​immortal in our thoughts. Why the band use this name .

Entreaty

An atmospheric , environmental input with a strong , dark and brooding serious operatic falsetto , a sobbing basket!

 

The sorrow of the spirits ...

Check with explosive guitars and forceful and rapid battery! The operatic voice is good except instrumentation than a little voice, throaty gives nice dark touch , speed and goth, the entire track is in constant speed and an equal pace , light des times between the song and the voice, an abrupt end , good song !

 

The Curse

Heavier tackle and excellent voice! Grave and dark ! Accompanied with the guttural time

Along with a guitar and strong battery! Perfect speed *

 

Malicious Land

Another very well-structured , continuous and steady, heavy beat, the song has a great voice is serious falsetto good! the spread between the voice and the song is well coupled .

 

The crying of the witch

A great entry in this song we can hear the operatic vocal ability of female soprano voice, guttural combination , just a little background is achieved guttural to qualify in this perfect speed as previous songs and times !

 

Sorrow of the spirits

A song with an entry in speed and like the second song structure , remain with the strength and themes in constant voice

 

Death of a Gentleman

Check in poetic and narrative very motivating to enter the story after brings a touch of heavy guitars and drums, the Spanish voice remains on par with the song!

Excellent end.

 

Mortal beauty

Wonderful voice , I like the atmosphere of the track with strong beats and heavy , yet melodic turn in time with the song and voice, the sharp end with a high voice .

 

Final verse

A song forcefully , more musically structured , high voice with which we can hear clearly , both the input and the end with a piano and dark melancholy words with a single touch !

 

 

My recommendation;

 

It is a strong and heavy disc, the tessitura of the voice Nadeny (Soprano) is highly technical, dark, melodic and symphonic, the album is continuous, starts strong and forceful and well maintained, the atmosphere of the guttural voice is an excellent mix of dark and melancholic emotions, but with integrated heaviness, is fast on certain songs and in other regular speed, the combination of singing in Spanish and English at the beginning and the end in Spanish, gives a touch of disco essence an identity and that's very original little is seen or heard in other bands, the cover art of the album is me striking, showing emotion with which it was written and performed, is an album well done, continuous and atmospheric, all consecutive songs are for me the most representative of the album is that of the Curse, which I believe is the symbol of the album.

LA RESEÑA

Saludos! Mis amigos lectores, aquí les traigo una reseña y una pequeña biografia de una banda Mexicana de Goth/Death Metal que nos da un álbum de gran calidad musical y con una técnica en voz muy buena, aquí un poco de ellos

La banda inicia entre mayo y junio del 2011, fundada por Charly Gracida (Guitarra) y Nadeny (Soprano Lirica) teniendo como compañeros a Vicente Aguilar (Batería), John Vander (teclados y voz gutural), Rafa Romero (Bajo), tocando en sus inicios covers de Metal Sinfónico como “Épica”, “Nightwish”, “Therion”, “Sirenia” y “Xandria”.

 

Posteriormente salen de la alineación por motivos personales Vicente y John, dando paso a la llegada de Dann Ojeda (Batería) y Rocke Reyes (Guitarra y Voz gutural). Iniciando así el proyecto de música original, La música mezcla la voz, soprano lirica acompañada con guitarras contundentes y agresivas, usando voces guturales, en inglés y español con un concepto mítico en sus letras; letras que tratan acerca de personajes mitológicos, fantasías y realidades llevándote a un mudo de imaginación.

El estilo de la banda también muestra sonidos cercanos al death y algunos toques de black metal, encontrando como resultado en Diciembre de 2012 un Demo con 3 canciones que han sido bien aceptadas dentro de la escena teniendo como mayor logro aparecer en el compilado “Canticos Nocturnos 3” disco que reúne a las mejores bandas de la escena nacional.

 

En abril del 2013 sale de la banda Dann Ojeda por motivos personales dejando como legado el trabajo de lo que será el primer disco de la banda dando así pasó a la llegada de Satoshi Lira en la batería. Con solo con 4 integrantes (Nadeny, Charly, Leo y Satoshi) se decide empezar grabaciones de su primer disco con la colaboración en la voz gutural de Eduardo Medrano (Night Eternal) empezando así una nueva etapa más sólida y madura que dio como fruto el primer álbum oficial de la banda Sueños y Realidades lanzado el 30 de nov de ese año.

 

Posteriormente en marzo del 2014 se integra de lleno Eduardo Medrano en la guitarra y voz gutural quedando la alineación completa.

 

El nombre deriva de la canción Epitafium de la banda polaca Artrosis. Mientras la definición describe la inscripción en una lápida o monumento que conmemora al difunto, y los hace inmortales en nuestros pensamientos. Motivo por el cual la banda utiliza este nombre.

Bueno vamos a la reseña!

 

Entreaty

Una entrada atmosférica, ambiental con un falsete operístico grave fuerte, oscuro y melancólico, una entrada sollozante!

 

The sorrow of the spirits...

Entrada explosiva con guitarras y batería contundente y rápidas! La voz operística es buena salvo que la instrumentación supera un poco la voz, el gutural le da buen toque oscuro, speed y goth, toda la pista es en velocidad constante y a un ritmo igual, ligeros des tiempos entre la canción y la voz, con un final abrupto, buena canción!

 

The Curse

Entrada más pesada y la voz excelente! Grave y oscura! Acompañada en tiempo con el gutural

Al compás con una guitarra y batería fuertes! Velocidad perfecta*

 

Malicious Land

Otra canción muy bien estructurada, con ritmo continuo y constante, pesada, la voz es genial tiene un falsete grave bueno! la extensión entre la voz y la canción está bien acoplada.

 

The crying of the witch

Una entrada genial, en esta canción podemos escuchar la habilidad vocal operística de la voz soprano femenina, en combinación del gutural, solo que un poco más fondo del gutural para que se logre matizar, en velocidades esta perfecta como en las anteriores canciones y en tiempos!

 

Sorrow of the spirits

Una canción con una entrada, en velocidad y estructura semejante a la segunda canción, se mantienen con la contundencia y temática, en voz constante

 

La muerte de un caballero

Entrada poética y narrativa en español muy motivante para entrar a la historia que nos trae después con una toque de guitarras y batería fuertes, en la voz se mantiene a la par de la canción!

Excelente final.

 

Belleza Mortal

Maravillosa voz, me agrada la atmosfera de la pista, con tiempos pesados y fuertes, pero a la vez melódicos, al compás con la canción y voz, el final con una alto vocal tajante.

 

Verso Final

Una canción con contundencia, más estructurada musicalmente, con los altos en voz el cual podemos escuchar claramente, tanto la entrada como el final con un piano y palabras oscuras con un toque melancólico único!

 

Mi Recomendación;

 

Es un disco fuerte y pesado, la tesitura de la voz de Nadeny (Soprano) es de gran técnica, oscura, melódica y sinfónica,  el álbum es continuo, inicia fuerte y contundente y así se mantiene, la atmosfera del gutural y la voz es una excelente mezcla de emociones oscuras y melancólicas, pero con pesadez integrada, es veloz en ciertas canciones y con velocidad regular en otras, la combinación en cantar en español e inglés al inicio y al final en español, le da su toque de esencia del disco, una identidad y eso es muy original que poco se ve o se escucha en otras bandas, el cover art del disco me es llamativo, muestra la emoción  con la cual fue escrito e interpretado, es un disco bien hecho, continuo y atmosférico, todas las canciones son consecutivas para mí la más representativa del disco es la de The Curse, el cual creo es la canción símbolo del disco.
