Diabulus in Musica is a symphonic metal band that combines the elegance and passion of classical music with the aggressiveness and strength of distorted guitars.

The most notable event in the Diabulus in Music career was the concert held in the prestigious opera house of their city: Baluarte, in November 2015 along with the Chamber Choir of Navarra and the symphonic orchestra of the Conservatory, directed by the maestro Vicent Egea. This concert was a musical milestone and it brought together the lovers of classical music and the ones of the most aggressive rock. Finally, Diabulus in Musica was able to play their songs live as they are conceived in their albums.

A powerful blast beats entry! With raw and cutting riffs! A strong and aggressive epic and symphonic style, choirs with equal reach, electronic touches, Zuberoa with splendid versatility in voice! Guttural of Gorka alternating perfectly.

Nuevo Rumbo

Powerful entry, stronger chords, great chords, and especially sung 100% in Spanish, A symphonic cut where Zuberoa's voices together with the brief grunts give it the somber and the guitars / drums take more importance as the song progresses.

The Misfit's Swing

Interesting entry and musical mix! Zuberoa clean voice with swing, A bit of burlesque style, here DIM adds a bit of his epic symphonic touch, a melodic and rhythmic song a bit of avant garde metal.

In Quest of Sense

Excellent hard entry, dense in chords and drums, a sound that reminds me on the Argia album, and good speed, a bit of speed metal, the scales and changes in rhythm play great with the contrast of the lyrical voices of Zuberoa and the guttural.

Otoi

Excellent Epic / Folk entry of what was the first preview of the album, great sound and melody, Zuberoa's soft voice gives a beautiful gentleness to the combination of powerful and surprising gutturals!

Blurred Dreams

A short break with an emotional, sweet, soft and melancholic semi-ballad in which once again we can listen and enjoy the beautiful voice of Zuberoa.

On the Edge

We start with brutality and chord power along with a majority support for the Riffs / drums and electronic cut, avant-garde and modern sounds with a combination of epic choruses, Zuberoa's symphonic voice and the gutturals that give that darkness and heaviness to On the Edge!

Our Last Gloomy Dance

An epic / symphonic sound and input with speed! A song with cinematographic / operatic orchestrations, Zuberoa's voice is what carries the track in all its splendor alongside the background choirs.

One Step Higher

Strong entry and a lot of power! Accelerated and strong drums, strong chords, with an electronic cut, a soft song and a little more rock, a little different sounds and rhythms.

Blind Muse

Another song with a powerful, fast and forceful entrance, contrasting background choirs to the hard chords and softly alternating to the beautiful voice of Zuberoa, Symphonic Metal with stamp and style of DIM!

In the Vortex

Closing in a sublime operatic way! That low vibrato of Zuberoa excels in masterful tone a full and sustained chest C that turns the skin without a doubt! An orchestral / symphonic track sailing towards the end of this super album!

My Recommendation

This new and fifth album is among the most epic, a mixture of styles such as Folk / Avant Garde, Symphonic and of course more aggressive! It is not repetitive, it is not repetitive, it is varied, from the musical scale and low and high changes in several songs, it has 4 elements that stand out, the voice of Zuberoa that does a splendid job, the Orchestral / Symphonic / Electronic parts, Opera Style / Scenographic and background chorus voices with Gorka's gutturals, also at no time is there a solo of any musical instrument, which can divert attention, it is a good work together where voice and melody work together!

The Voice

Zuberoa's voice is one of the prestigious and adored within our musical style, the vibrato, timbre and softness with which Zuberoa sings to us makes any song great, listen to the end of the album In the Vortex and you will know it, in addition to the Background choir voices and Gorka's gutturals make the combination of light and darkness, and of course it gives an extra bonus to the verses sung in Spanish.

Diabulus in Música es una banda de metal sinfónico que combina la elegancia y la pasión de la música clásica con la agresividad y fuerza de las guitarras distorsionadas.

El hecho más destacable de la carrera de Diabulus in Música fue el concierto celebrado en el prestigioso teatro de ópera de su ciudad: Baluarte, en noviembre de 2015 junto al Coro de Cámara de Navarra y la orquesta sinfónica del Conservatorio, dirigida por el maestro Vicent Egea. Este concierto supuso un hito musical y reunió a los amantes de la música clásica y los del rock más agresivo. Finalmente, Diabulus in Música pudo tocar sus canciones en vivo tal y como están concebidas en sus álbumes.

Una entrada potente de blast beats! Con riffs crudos y cortantes! Un estilo épico y sinfónico fuerte y agresivo, coros con igual alcance, toques electrónicos, Zuberoa con esplendida versatilidad en voz! Guturales de Gorka alternando perfectamente.

Potente entrada, acordes con más fuerza, coros geniales, y sobre todo cantado 100% en español, Un corte sinfónico donde las voces de Zuberoa junto a los gruñidos breves le dan la sombría y las guitarras/batería toman más importancia conforme avanza la canción.

Interesante entrada y mezcla musical! Voz limpia de Zuberoa con swing, Un poco de estilo burlesque, aquí se le añade un poco de su toque épico sinfónico, una canción melódica y rítmica un poco de avant garde metal.

Excelente entrada dura, densa en acordes y batería, un sonido que me recuerda en el albúm de Argia, y buena velocidad un poco de speed metal, las escalas y cambios en ritmo juegan de forma genial con el contraste de voces líricas de Zuberoa y los guturales.

Otoi

Excelente entrada Épico/Folk del que fue el primer adelanto del álbum, genial sonido y melodía, la voz suave de Zuberoa le da una bella gentileza a la combinación de guturales potentes y sorpresivos!

Blurred Dreams

Un pequeño descanso con una semi-balada emotiva, dulce, suave y melancólica en la cual una vez más podemos escuchar y disfrutar de la bella voz de Zuberoa.

On the Edge

Comenzamos con brutalidad y potencia de acordes junto a un apoyo mayoritario a los Riffs/batería y corte electrónico, sonidos vanguardistas y modernos con un combinado de coros épicos, la voz sinfónica de Zuberoa y los guturales que le dan esa oscuridad y pesadez a On the Edge!

Our Last Gloomy Dance

Un sonido y entrada épica/sinfónica con velocidad! Una canción con orquestaciones cinematográficas/operísticas, la voz de Zuberoa es lo que lleva a la pista en todo su esplendor junto a los coros de fondo.

One Step Higher

Fuerte entrada y con mucha potencia! Batería acelerada y fuerte, acordes contundentes, con un corte electrónico, una canción suave y algo más de rock, un poco de sonidos y ritmos diferentes.

Blind Muse

Otra canción con entrada potente, rápida y contundente, coros de fondo contrastante a los acordes duros y alternando de forma suave a la bella voz de Zuberoa, Metal Sinfónico con estampa y estilo de DiM!

In the Vortex

Cerrando de forma Operística sublime! Ese vibrato grave de Zuberoa excelsa en tono magistral un do de pecho completo y sostenido que enchina la piel sin duda! Una pista orquestal/sinfónica navegando hacia el final de este súper albúm!

Mi Recomendación

Este nuevo y quinto albúm es entre más épico, mezcla de estilos como el Folk/Avant Garde, Sinfónico y claro más agresivo! No es reiterativo, no es repetitivo, es variado, desde la escala musical y cambios bajos y altos en varias canciones, tiene 4 elementos que destacan, la voz de Zuberoa que hace un espléndido trabajo, las partes Orquestales/Sinfónicas/Electrónicas, Estilo Operístico/Escenográfico y voces de coros de fondo con los guturales de Gorka, también en ningún momento hay un solo de algún instrumento musical, el cual puede desviar la atención, es un buen trabajo en conjunto donde voz y melodía trabajan juntos!

"Después de tres intensos años, por fin volvemos con el que probablemente sea nuestro álbum más pesado y convincente hasta ahora. La Voz

La voz de Zuberoa es de las prestigiadas y adoradas dentro de nuestro estilo musical, el vibrato, timbre y suavidad con el que Zuberoa nos canta hace que cualquier canción sea grandiosa, escuchen el final del albúm In the Vortex y lo sabrán, además de las voces de coro de fondo y los guturales de Gorka hacen la combinación de luz y oscuridad, y por supuesto le da un plus extra a los versos cantados en español.
