Heretic’s Dream was formed in 2010 by guitarist Andrej Surace and vocalist Francesca Di Ventura! Well here is the new interview! From Italy!

Hello! How are you?

 

Hi Darkzen, I am so glad to be talking with You! I'm doing great, while we are talking my band and I are actually travelling, heading to Ternopil, Ukraine, where we'll be playing at the FAINE MISTO FEST on Saturday, with Guano Apes.

 

Tell us about you my friend! You have a good voice!  ¿How did your musical career begin?

¿How was your vocal training?

 

Thanks for your kind words on my voice! My journey into the music started at the end of 2007, after my mother died. It was a real shock that exposed me to the necessity to make the best of your time in life, so I changed pretty much everything: boyfriend, house, boring routine. I had the opportunity to start singing with some friends of mine. Few months later I answered to a music adv of a goth band looking for a singer. The audition went well, so I joined them, though I had never listened to metal till that day! Music to me were Madonna and Depeche Mode. That was the day I met my husband, that band's guitarist. So that audition totally turned my existence around. I began taking music lesson, to learn how to breath and the basis of singing.

 

¿To you which is the best style within the Metal? And why? 

 

I actually love any kind of music, I'm in love with that prog metal, Tool and Tesseract stile, but I really listen to any kind of music.

 

¿Did you write the songs from your past albums?

 

I always write my lyrics and my melodies, it's a challenge, to try and give birth to somenthing innovative and yet to talk about human feelings and emotions everybody experiences in life. By telling my own stories, I tell about human being.

 

¿Which are the best songs for you, of Heretics Dream band?

 

I love all our songs, if I should choose maybe I'd go for OUTCASTED or SHOCKWAVE

 

 

¿Do you have some new songs in mind, or projects?

¿Will there be a new álbum this year?

 

We are writing the new album, which will have a Thrash taste, with very hard guitar riffs

 

¿With what other singers have you done a duet? Female or Male singer?

 

I had the chance to duet with Terence holler, Eldritch's front-man. A great voice and an amazing person. The song is the ballad Fighting Times, included in the album WALK THE TIME.

 

¿Some surprises for this year with your band?

 

In December we'll be main support of KATATONIA's tour in East Europe, and we'll supporting AMARANTHE in Russia, where we have been several times, supporting mighty bands such us DELAIN, AMORPHIS, ELUVEITIE

 

¿Will there be new video preview? In these months or ¿What surprises you, Francesca have to this year?

 

We'll release a new video for sure, as anticipation of the new album, whose title will probably be THE LAND OF ASHAMED SOULS (you are the only ones I'm revealing it!).

 

¿Anything else you'd like to share my friend with us?

Hola! ¿Cómo has estado?

 

Hola Darkzen, ¡estoy tan contenta de estar hablando contigo! Estoy muy bien, mientras hablamos de mi banda y realmente estoy viajando, rumbo a Ternopil, Ucrania, donde tocaremos en el FAINE MISTO FEST el sábado, con Guano Apes.

 

Cuéntenos sobre ti! ¡Tienes una buena voz! ¿Cómo comenzó tu carrera musical?

¿Cómo fue tu entrenamiento vocal?

 

¡Gracias por sus amables palabras en mi voz! Mi viaje a la música comenzó a finales de 2007, después de que mi madre murió. Fue un choque real que me expuso a la necesidad de hacer lo mejor de su tiempo en la vida, así que cambié casi todo: novio, casa, rutina aburrida. Tuve la oportunidad de empezar a cantar con algunos amigos míos, en una caja. Pocos meses después respondí a una música de una banda gótica en busca de un cantante. La audición fue bien, así que me uní a ellos, aunque nunca había escuchado metal hasta ese día! La música para mí eran Madonna y Depeche Mode. Ese fue el día que conocí a mi marido, el guitarrista de la banda. Así que la audición transformó totalmente mi existencia. Comencé a tomar lecciones de música, para aprender a respirar y la base del canto.

 

¿Cuál es el mejor estilo dentro del Metal para ti? ¿Y por qué?

 

Realmente amo cualquier tipo de música, estoy enamorado de ese metal prog, Tool y Tesseract stile, pero realmente escucho cualquier tipo de música.

 

¿Escribiste las canciones de tus últimos álbumes?

 

Siempre escribo mis letras y mis melodías, es un reto, tratar de dar a luz algo innovador y sin embargo hablar de los sentimientos y emociones humanos que todo el mundo experimenta en la vida. Al contar mis propias historias, hablo sobre el ser humano.

 

¿Cuáles son las mejores canciones para ti, de la banda Heretics Dream?

 

Me encantan todas nuestras canciones, si yo debo elegir quizá iría para OUTCASTED o SHOCKWAVE.

¿Tienes algunas canciones nuevas en mente, o proyectos?

¿Habrá un nuevo álbum este año?

 

Estamos escribiendo el nuevo álbum, que tendrá un sabor Thrash, con riffs de guitarra muy duros

 

¿Con qué otros cantantes has hecho un dúo? Cantante femenino o masculino

 

Tuve la oportunidad de hacer duetos con TERENCE HOLLER, el encargado de ELDRITCH. Una gran voz y una persona increíble. La canción es la balada FIGHTING TIMES, incluida en el álbum WALK THE TIME.

 

¿Alguna sorpresa para este año con tu banda?

 

En diciembre seremos el principal apoyo de la gira de KATATONIA en Europa del Este, y apoyaremos a AMARANTHE en Rusia, donde hemos estado varias veces, apoyando a bandas poderosas tales como DELAIN, AMORPHIS, ELUVEITIE.

 

¿Habrá un nuevo vídeo previo? En estos meses o ¿Qué sorpresa tienes Francesca para este año?

 

Lanzaremos un nuevo video con seguridad, como anticipación del nuevo álbum, cuyo título probablemente será THE LAND OF ASHAMED SOULS (¡Tú eres el único al que te lo estoy revelando!).

 

¿Alguna otra cosa que te gustaría compartir con nosotros?
