The Japanese J-metal quintet BRIDEAR is releasing their debut album, Bloody Bride, on May 7, 2021, via UK-based label SETSUZOKU RECORDS. The band was formed in 2012 and after a few changes, their current lineup is HARU, KIMI, MISAKI, AYMI, and NATSUMI. The bandmates fill us in on their background in music and their upcoming album.

It begins with an atmospheric electronic sound, modern instrumental, a light and entertaining overture!

Daybreak

After the pleasant and atmospheric overture, they open the track with forceful chords and fast drums, melodic and rhythmic power metal and with tempos between chords, drums and Kimi's clean voice.

Bloody Bride

An excellent opening, dense, heavy and strong between those chords and Natsumi's drums with perfect harmony and opening bars in a melodic and rhythmic way, progressive sounds with the bloody bride's chorus in the background for a darker atmosphere.

Dimensions

A beginning totally full of strong chords in scale, guitars, drums carried in a melodic way and with lighter choruses, a very harmonic and short guitar solo.

Keshin

Excellent start of strength, forcefulness, speed and power, between those chords, bass line and drums, progressive movements alternating with a power metal rhythm for a few moments and a guttural voice for a moment accompanies Kimi's voice.

Ashes

A musical combination in a short time carried in an excellent way, fast movements, with strong chords, chorus voices accompanying Kimi, fast and melodic solos, a slightly progressive style and with a more modern rhythm.

The Moment

An interesting song, with dense, heavy chords and a guttural background voice that accompanies Kimi in several parts, but the melodic and rhythmic part dominate more in this song with a more Metal Core tinge.

Glitter

A start to the song with a lot of energy, speed and rhythm! Kimi's voice scale stays clean, smooth and sharp, the strong chords between those guitars and bass give excellent voice exposure, we have more chord company and harder and stronger drums.

Boy

A strong battery opens up all the strength of this song with the Metal Core style again, accompanied by strong chords and the guttural voice that comes out in the background accompanying Kimi's clean and beautiful voice on a high scale, a solo with longer duration more with hard rock and metal style

Dream Eater

A somewhat atmospheric, very retro beginning and later we are assaulted by slightly slower and longer chords, a more rhythmic, melodic and catchy sound we find again in this song.

A Glorious World

A sound that started even more melodic, smooth and clean, Kimi's voice with a single short chord accompaniment of guitar and forceful drums give more weight to her voice, a more melodic song and with a greater pop rock content.

Starlight

And closing this new strong album of the bloody bride leaves us with a strong sound, but with a ballad in its form and extension, the scales at times strong and others not so much, slow movements and then strong and fast.

My Recomendation

We have with this new album by the band Bridear a rich combination of rhythms, sounds and musical styles, power metal, heavy metal, a bit of core metal, progressive movements and rock, this album has quite remarkable musical speed and solidity, Haru with that bass opens perfectly in many of the songs, Misaki and Ayumi, they do excellent harmonic and melodic work, chords and guitar solos very well carried, Natsumi's drums throughout the album with strength and forcefulness, the album does everything to link between the rock, hard rock and metal, a varied album, yes and in a lot of sense, a sample of the musical ability that the band Bridear follows in great strides! The bloody bride will leave you with melody and musical force.

The Voice

Kimi's voice is versatile, clean, white and a register that tends towards a sharp scale, although as in Starlight Kimi gives us her vocal skills on a wonderful ballad between forcefulness and musical softness and in A Glorious World where we also hear her softer vocal register too, and without forgetting the gutturals that she does in the Boy song.

Inicia con un sonido atmosférico electrónico, instrumental moderno, una obertura ligera y amena!

Daybreak

Después de la obertura amena y atmosférica, abren la pista con unos acordes contundentes y batería veloz, power metal melódico, rítmico y con tempos entre acordes, batería y la voz limpia de Kimi.

Bloody Bride

Un excelente inicio, denso, pesado y fuerte entre esos acordes y la batería de Natsumi con perfecta armonía y abriendo compas de forma melódica y rítmica, sonidos progresivos con coro de la novia sangrienta de fondo para una atmosfera más oscura.

Dimensions

Un inicio totalmente lleno de acordes fuertes en escala, guitarras, batería llevadas de una forma melódica y con estribillos más ligeros, un solo de guitarra muy armónico y breve.

Keshin

Excelente inicio de fuerza, contundencia, velocidad y potencia, entre esos acordes, línea de bajo y batería, movimientos progresivos alternando con un ritmo power metal por algunos instantes y voz gutural por un instante acompaña a la voz de Kimi.

Ashes

Un combinado musical en breve tiempo llevado de excelente forma, movimientos rápidos, con acordes fuertes, voces en coro acompañan a Kimi, solos rápidos y melódicos, un estilo un poco progresivo y con un ritmo más moderno.

The Moment

Una canción interesante, con unos acordes densos, pesados y con voz gutural de fondo que acompaña en varias partes a Kimi, pero la parte melódica y rítmica dominan más en esta canción con un tinte más Metal Core.

Glitter

Un inicio de la canción con mucha energía, velocidad y ritmo! La escala de voz de Kimi se mantiene limpia, suave y aguda, los acordes fuertes entre esas guitarras y bajo le dan excelente exposición a la voz, tenemos más compañía de acordes y batería de forma más dura y fuerte.

Boy

Una batería fuerte abre toda la fuerza de esta canción con otra vez el estilo Metal Core, acompañado de acordes fuertes y la voz gutural que sobre sale de fondo acompañando en escala altas a la voz limpia y bella de Kimi, un solo con mayor duración más con estilo hard rock y metal

Dream Eater

Un inicio algo atmosférico muy retro y posteriormente nos asalta acordes un poco más lentos y largos, un sonido más rítmico, melódico y pegadizo volvemos a encontrar en esta canción.

A Glorious World

Un sonido he inicio aún más melódico, suave y limpio, la voz de Kimi con un solo acompañamiento de acorde breve de guitarra y batería contundente le dan mayor peso a su voz, una canción más melódica y con un mayor contenido rock pop.

Starlight

Y cerrando este nuevo álbum fuerte de la novia sangrienta nos dejan con un sonido fuerte, pero con una balada en su forma y extensión, las escalas por momentos fuertes y otras no tanto, movimientos lentos y después fuertes y rápidos.

Mi Recomendación

Tenemos con este nuevo álbum de la banda Bridear una rica combinación de ritmos, sonidos y estilos musicales, power metal, heavy metal, un poco de metal core, movimientos progresivos y rock, este álbum tiene velocidad y solidez musical bastante notable, Haru con ese bajo abre perfectamente en muchas de las canciones, Misaki y Ayumi, hacen excelente trabajo armónico y melódico, acordes y solos de guitarras muy bien llevados, la batería de Natsumi en todo el álbum con fuerza y contundencia, el álbum hace todo por enlazar entre el rock, hard rock y el metal, un álbum variado, si y en mucho sentido, una muestra de la habilidad musical que la banda Bridear sigue a grandes pasos! La novia sangrienta te dejara con melodía y contundencia musical.

La Voz

La voz de Kimi es versátil, limpia, blanca y un registro que tiende hacia una escala aguda, aunque como en Starlight Kimi nos da sus habilidades vocales sobre una maravillosa balada entre contundencia y suavidad musical y en A Glorious World donde también escuchamos más suave su registro vocal también, y sin olvidar los guturales que hace en la canción Boy.
