Alternative metal by singer Jhoana Storm. The music, lyrics and show is thought of Stephen King's literature, creating a comprehensive experience.
Here i leave a bit of each single its meaning for the first single "Desierto, Roland Deschain was chosen as the character, placing him within the first book De la Torre Oscura entitled" El pistolero.
The chaos of the earth has been inspired by the book Sleeping Beauties, written by Stephen King and Owen King, projected from our interpretation of it.
And the single from Her world on fire, this song is inspired by Carrie's story. It is written from the point of view of Sue Snell, who, despite being also responsible for Carrie's suffering, comes to understand that she caused a lot of damage and tries to make amends.

How have you been in the first instance?
Jhoana:
Hello! Very well, super happy with the reception that "Your world on fire" has had.
How has the situation been in your professional development since your last band The Sons of Nephilim?
Jhoana:
I think that, in this time, in which I have worked as a soloist, I have learned and matured a lot musically. On the one hand, I can experiment a lot with the most daring ideas, but on the other hand I have to work twice as hard so that everything is ready and in order.
And from 2020 with this Quarantine, how did you cope with this to carry out this new Eluria project?
Jhoana:
In my case, the pandemic made me look for a way to adapt and continue. When "Desierto" was released I had no idea what would happen globally. Fortunately there were already a couple of simple engravings.
The first months I hoped that it would be possible to return to "normality" to continue working. In mid-2020 I decided to release a lyric video so as not to let the songs get stagnant and to continue giving my followers more music and content.
For "Su Mundo en llamas" I wanted to do a little more than I could with "The chaos of the earth". We had to shoot the video with a lot of security measures, but it was possible to make a great video.
I think this time has taught me to be flexible and find different ways to not stop working.
Why the name Eluria?
Jhoana:
The name comes from a short story in the book “Todo es eventual” titled “Las Hermanitas de Eluria.” This is one of my favorite short story books and a story that made me love the saga of “The Dark Tower”.
Did you have any difficulties to be able to record any of your 3 singles? Su Mundo en llamas, Caos en la Tierra y Desierto.
Jhoana:
I think the most complicated was "The chaos of the earth" due to the issues of the pandemic. Fortunately, I have always had a great team supporting me.
Your project was born out of the love you have for the Stephen King stories and it is a great way that you do giving this very different interpretation to each one, but why with the Alternative Metal style?
Jhoana:
I really like the options alternative metal gives you, from vocal resources to experimenting with instruments, synths, and genres. It is a freedom that I adore.
In the creative aspect of art work, each single is original, what is the idea behind each image in particular, what does each single highlight?
Jhoana:
For "Desierto" I had to perform as a soloist and that's why I decided to be on the cover. I had a costume made with inspiration from Roland Deschain and I looked for a balance between history and my music.
For "El caos de la tierra" we were looking for something more conceptual. The soft and delicate flower a bit dry running through my hand was a way to represent the concept of the song.
In the case of "Your world on fire" I wanted it to be darker bathed in reds. The story being Carrie was easier to know. And on the other hand, I had wonderful Alice Photography photographs to work with.
Now that you can tell us about the new album that contains these singles, is it varied in melody and concept?
Jhoana:
Yes, the whole album shows a fusion of genres, as well as characters and stories.
Why not integrate some more gothic or dark horror parts according to some passages or in another production later?
Jhoana:
I really believe that it is not part of my essence at all. I think that in some way I would like to continue showing it according to how I have felt it, but it did not rule out adding some element in the future.
The musical composition is very solid and alternative variations, under what direction was the production made and how was it?
Jhoana:
It's a beautiful job! I really love the production team. Working with Will McCharles on the songwriting was wonderful. I'd say he's a genius. He perfectly understood my concept and what he was looking for. He particularly surprised me with "His World on Fire" where he was inspired by the dance of the 1976 adaptation of "Carrie". It is beautiful and very risky.
About Anna Fiori I could say that there is no way to stop being surprised by her, she always dazzles us with her different talents. As a producer she is a visionary, she is always one step ahead. She knows how to take the talent of the people with whom she is going to work, she adds the ideas and makes them shine to the maximum expression of her. She understands and conducts a song in the right way. She knows where to lead each genre. And as a vocal couch, being a student of the voice, she knows how to make the most of each singer with the correct guidance.
Erik from Dark House is super talented and personable. The recording, mixes and the master are extraordinary. He is very clear on how to handle alternative metal.

Metal Alternativo de la cantante Jhoana Storm. La música, la letra y el espectáculo están pensados en la literatura de Stephen King, creando una experiencia integral.
Aquí dejo un poco de cada sencillo su significado para el primer sencillo "Desierto, se eligió a Roland Deschain como personaje, ubicándolo dentro del primer libro De la Torre Oscura titulado" El pistolero ".
El Caos de la Tierra se ha inspirado en el libro Sleeping Beauties, escrito por Stephen King y Owen King, proyectado a partir de nuestra interpretación del mismo.
Y el single de Su Mundo en llamas, esta canción está inspirada en la historia de Carrie. Está escrito desde el punto de vista de Sue Snell, quien, a pesar de ser también responsable del sufrimiento de Carrie, llega a comprender que ella causó mucho daño e intenta enmendarlo.

¿Cómo has estado en primera instancia?
Jhoana:
¡Hola!, muy bien, súper contenta con el recibimiento que ha tenido "Su mundo en llamas".
¿Cómo ha sido la situación en tu desarrollo profesional desde tu pasada banda The Sons of Nephilim?
Jhoana:
Creo que, en este tiempo, en el que he trabajado como solista, he aprendido y madurado muchísimo musicalmente. Por una parte, puedo experimentar muchísimo con las ideas más atrevidas, pero por otra parte tengo que trabajar el doble para que todo esté listo y en orden.
¿Y a partir del 2020 con esta Cuarentena como sobrellevaste esto para sacar adelante este nuevo proyecto Eluria?
Jhoana:
En mi caso, la pandemia me hizo buscar la manera de adaptarme y continuar.
Cuando se estrenó "Desierto" no tenía una idea de lo que pasaría de manera global. Afortunadamente ya había un par de sencillos grabados.
Los primeros meses esperaba que se pudiera regresar a la "normalidad" para seguir trabajando. A mediados del 2020 decidí lanzar un lyric video para no dejar que las canciones se quedarán estancadas y seguir dando a mis seguidores más música y contenido.
Para "Su mundo en llamas" quise hacer un poco más de lo que pude con "El caos de la tierra". Tuvimos que grabar el video con muchas medidas de seguridad, pero fue posible hacer un gran video.
Creo que este tiempo, me ha enseñado a ser flexible y encontrar diferentes caminos para no dejar de trabajar.
¿Por qué el nombre de Eluria?
Jhoana:
El nombre viene de un pequeño relato corto del libro “Todo es eventual" que se titula "Las hermanitas de Eluria". Este es uno de mis libros de relatos favoritos y una historia que me hizo amar la saga de "La Torre oscura".
¿Tuviste alguna dificultada para poder grabar alguno de tus 3 sencillos? Su mundo en llamas, caos de la tierra y desierto
Jhoana:
Creo que el más complicado fue "El caos de la tierra" por las cuestiones de la pandemia. Afortunadamente siempre he contado con un gran equipo apoyándome.
Tu proyecto nació por el amor que tienes sobre las historias de Stephen King y es una forma genial la que haces dando esta interpretación muy diferente a cada una, ¿pero porque con el estilo de Metal Alternativo?
Jhoana:
Me gusta mucho las opciones que te brinda el metal alternativo, desde los recursos vocales hasta la experimentación con instrumentos, sintetizadores y géneros. Es una libertad que adoro.
En el aspecto creativo de art work de cada sencillo es original, cual es la idea detrás de cada imagen en especial, ¿Qué resalta cada sencillo?
Jhoana:
Para "Desierto" tenía que presentarme como solista y por ello decidí estar en la portada. Mandé a hacer vestuario con inspiración en Roland Deschain y busqué un equilibrio entre la historia y mi música.
Para "El caos de la tierra" buscábamos algo más conceptual. La flor suave y delicada un poco seca atravesando mi mano era una manera de representar el concepto de la canción.
En el caso de "Su mundo en llamas" quise que fuera más oscuro bañado en rojos. La historia siendo Carrie era más fácil de conocer. Y por otra parte tenía maravillosas fotografías de Alice Photography con las cuales trabajar.
Ahora que nos puedes decir del nuevo álbum que contiene estos sencillos, ¿es variado en melodía y concepto?
Jhoana:
Sí, todo el álbum muestra una fusión de géneros, así como de personajes e historias.
¿Por qué no integrar algunas partes más góticas o dark horror de acuerdo algunos pasajes o en otra producción más adelante?
Jhoana:
Realmente creo que no es parte del todo de mi esencia. Creo que de alguna forma me gustaría seguirlo mostrando según como lo he sentido, pero no lo descartó sumar algún elemento en el futuro.
La composición musical es muy sólida y variaciones alternativas, ¿bajo qué dirección se hizo la producción y que tal fue?
Jhoana:
¡Es una hermoso trabajo! Realmente amo al equipo de producción. Trabajar con Will McCharles en la composición fue maravilloso. Diría que es un genio. Comprendió perfectamente mi concepto y lo que buscaba. Particularmente me sorprendió con "Su mundo en llamas" donde se inspiró en el baile de la adaptación de "Carrie" de 1976. Es preciosa y muy arriesgada.
De Anna Fiori podría decir que no hay manera de dejar de sorprenderse por ella, siempre nos deslumbra con sus diferentes talentos. Como productora es una visionaria, siempre está un paso adelante. Sabe tomar el talento la gente con la que va trabajar, suma las ideas y las hace brillar a su máxima expresión. Ella comprende y dirige complementamente una canción por el camino adecuado. Sabe por dónde hay que conducir cada género. Y como vocal couch, al ser una estudiosa de la voz, sabe sacar jugo a cada cantante con la guía correcta.
Por su parte Erik de Dark House es súper talentoso y agradable. La grabación las mezclas y el máster son extraordinarios. Tiene mucha claridad de cómo llevar el metal alternativo.
