Juliet Ruin was formed in 2015 from the ashes of previous project Fiction of Fate with the desire to fuse metal sound with clean technical vocal stylings in a way that is both beautiful and beastly.

Clean and spirited, Juliet Ruin is comprised of Jess Fleming (lead vocals), Kent Geislinger – (guitar/backing vocals), Dayn Armsworthy (guitar/backing vocals), Cody Reid (bass/backing vocals) and Jesse Bauman (drums); creating an original sound chock full of catchy hooks that convey a fresh and emotive feel to their heavy music.

Juliet Ruin took the obligatory first step with their debut self titled EP in 2017 and quickly made their way through the local scene, captivating audiences with high energy interactions that evoke emotion, vulnerability and power over various local gigs and appearing at several festivals over their flourishing career.

The next exciting step for Juliet Ruin is the release of their first full length album ‘Old Stardust, Love and Chaos’ in 2019 that promises to be more technical with heavy instrumentation, including some dabbling in low tuned 7 string guitars. The lead vocals have added more screams but also more clean techniques with pop-esque power vocals.

The album “Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos” will be available on September 6, 2019.

Simple Wars

Explosive entry! Strong with a lot of guitar and battery power! The combination of voices is ideal! Clear and clean, combining with the guttural masculine, a musical war to your ears perfect!

Spite

More than excellent entry, faster, stronger and more aggressive! Don’t lose power, hard and abrasive riffs! Along with the continuity of a clear and clean voice plus the guttural combination that accompanies the voice of Jess!

Violent Hands

A little slower, melodic and heavy, longer times of blunt riffs and a crushing battery! That part is perfect! Game of well-managed and strong voices!

Details Kill

Explosivity from the entrance of this song! Increasing the speed towards a rampant musical bombardment for your ears, next to the rampant shout of Jess, Riffs next to a heavy and crushing battery towards the end.

FTW

A very different entry to the other previous songs, but little by little we entered with a super powerful shout! And Jess's voice tells us a bit about the musical journey that awaits us! Here I hear more power in Jess's voice at times, loud and heartbreaking voices later.

Seasons

We don´t have a strong entrance, but if with greater musical and vocal content, there is balance of voices and blunt sounds, the song is melodic more than the previous ones, next to its guitar riffs which drum together to give a brutal musical blow.

With Only Rage

What a great entrance! With a more perfect Thrash style! Strong and aggressive! Jess's voice fits very well with the changes and speed of strong guitars / drums. Here we can perfectly hear the musical power that Juliet Ruin presents us!

Charlatan

A more powerful entry! With a clear voice and then heartbreaking, combining one more sound with strong metalcore style! That gives you more strength! Along with brutal voices, an interesting pause by the way where you hear the voice of Jess more clearly and then loudly to the final part!

Stay Gold

Strong! From the beginning, the battery at its greatest moment with that double hype at great times! The guitars do the rest giving power to both the heartbreaking background vocals and the voice of Jess!

Closing with this last song of the album a little slower from the beginning, we hear more the voice of Jess with more melancholy and more sentimental, as the track progresses the strength of guitars and drums increases with a stronger, more hardened and close to A powerful male voice more heartbreaking! Then we return to the sentimental voice of Jess to close this powerful musical and mental journey of Juliet Ruin!

My Recomendation

An album full of energy, fluid, strong! Aggressive! Powerful!! Continuous, forceful! The songs flow, they transform into a struggle of life itself, the lyrics, the sound, an album with songs of daily life and that we all need to hear with a good moshpit and the horns up from the beginning of the album "Simple War", "Spite", "Violent Hands" or "Details Kill", songs with strong lyrics as in "FTW", the sound of Juliet Ruin is strong, a bit of metal core, hard rock with moments of thrash metal as in "With Only Rage ”, there are musical and voice changes as in" Seasons "with a history of Greek mythology, with strong guitars and a single well-crafted soloist and closing with" Old Stardust, Love and Chaos ", a meandering sound with feeling and good plastered letter! The songs feature dark lyric, they mix it and provide an addictive and brutal union with a little seriousness and even happy moments! Juliet Ruin se formó en 2015 a partir de las cenizas del proyecto anterior Fiction of Fate con el deseo de fusionar el sonido de metal con estilos vocales técnicos limpios de una manera hermosa y bestial.

Limpia y enérgica, Juliet Ruin está compuesta por Jess Fleming (voz principal), Kent Geislinger - (guitarra / coros), Dayn Armsworthy (guitarra / coros), Cody Reid (bajo / coros) y Jesse Bauman (batería); creando un sonido original lleno de ganchos pegadizos que transmiten una sensación fresca y emotiva a su música pesada.

Juliet Ruin dio el primer paso obligatorio con su EP debut homónimo en 2017 y rápidamente se abrió paso a través de la escena local, cautivando al público con interacciones de alta energía que evocan emoción, vulnerabilidad y poder sobre varios conciertos locales y apareciendo en varios festivales durante su floreciente carrera.

Entrada explosiva! Fuerte con mucha potencia de guitarras y batería! La combinación de voces es idónea! Clara y limpia, combinando con el gutural masculino, una guerra musical a tus oídos perfecta!

Spite

Más que excelente la entrada, más rápida, fuerte y agresiva! No pierden potencia, riffs duros y abrasivos! Junto a la continuidad de una voz clara y limpia más la combinación del gutural que acompaña a la voz de Jess!

Violent Hands

Un poco más lenta, melódica y pesada, mayores tiempos de los riffs contundentes y una batería aplastante! Esa parte esta perfecta! Juego de voces bien manejadas y fuertes!

Details Kill

Explosividad desde la entrada de esta canción! Aumentando la velocidad hacia un desenfrenado bombardeo musical para tus oídos, junto al grito desenfrenado de Jess, Riffs junto a una batería pesada y aplastante hacia la parte final.

FTW

Una entrada muy diferente a las demás canciones anteriores, pero poco a poco entramos con un súper grito potente! Y las voz de Jess nos narra un poco de la travesía musical que nos espera! Aquí escucho más potencia en la voz de Jess por momentos, voces fuertes y desgarradoras posteriormente.

Seasons

No tenemos una entrada fuerte, pero si con mayor contenido musical y vocal, hay equilibrio de voces y sonidos contundentes, melódica la canción más que las otras anteriores, junto a sus riffs de guitarras la cual batería de junta para dar un golpazo brutal musical.

With Only Rage

Que buena entrada! Con un estilo más Thrash perfecto! Fuerte y agresiva! La voz de Jess se acopla muy bien a los cambios y velocidad de guitarras/batería fuertes. Aquí podemos escuchar perfectamente el poderío musical que nos presentan Juliet Ruin!

Charlatan

Una entrada más potente! Con una voz clara y después desgarradora, combinando un sonido más con estilo metalcore fuerte! Eso le da más fuerza! Junto a voces brutales, una pausa interesante por cierto en donde se escucha la voz de Jess más clara y posteriormente con fuerza a la parte final!

Stay Gold

Fuerte! Desde un inicio, la batería en su mayor momento con ese doble bombo por momentos genial! Las guitarras hacen el resto dando potencia tanto a las desgarradoras voces de fondo y a la voz de Jess!

Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos

Cerrando con esta última canción del álbum un poco más lenta desde el inicio, escuchamos más la voz de Jess con mayor melancolía y más sentimental, conforme avanza la pista aumenta la fuerza de guitarras y batería con un cierre más fuerte, más aguerrido y junto a una poderosa voz masculina más desgarradora! Después volvemos a la voz sentimental de Jess para cerrar esta travesía musical y mental potente de Juliet Ruin!

Mi Recomendación

Un álbum lleno de energía, fluido, fuerte! Agresivo! Poderoso!! Continuo, contundente! Las canciones fluyen, se transforman en una lucha de vida misma, la letra, el sonido, un álbum con canciones de la vida diaria y que todos necesitamos escuchar con un buen moshpit y los cuernos arriba desde el inicio del álbum “ Simple War”, “ Spite”, "Violent Hands" o "Details Kill", canciones con letra fuerte como en "FTW", el sonido de Juliet Ruin es fuerte, un poco de metal core, hard rock con momentos de thrash metal como en “With Only Rage”, hay cambios musicales y voz como en "Seasons" con una historia de la mitología griega, con guitarras fuertes y un solo solista bien elaborado y cerrando con "Old Stardust, Love and Chaos", un sonido serpenteante con sentimiento y con buena letra plasmada! Las canciones cuentan con lírica oscura, ellos lo mezclan y brindan una unión adictiva y brutal con un poco de seriedad y hasta momentos felices! Si te gusta Zephyra band, In This Moment, The Agonist, Lzzy Hale, Jinjer, Killswitch Engage o Parkway drive entre otras bandas más, Juliet Ruin band te gustara bastante sin duda!

La Voz

La voz de Jess es genial! Limpia y después nos impresiona con un potente rugido! Clara y con un excelente rango bien manejado al pasar de un sonido más agudo y pesado, se adapta bien a esos cambios musicales y escalas, tiene potencia en todo el álbum, ni tampoco desaparece ante una batería pesada y riffs de guitarras muy intensos! Tiene mucho potencial su voz de Jess!
