Aeonblack, founded in 2003, present their second longplayer "The Time Will Come", on which they not only hold up the flag of traditional heavy metal, but are obviously willing to breathe new life into this genre. Because if you think of "traditional heavy metal" as old-fashioned fare, then you'd better get warm!

"The Time Will Come" offers a massive wall of sound on 11 songs with powerful aggressive riffing, two-part guitars and classic melodic to scream-like vocals, which are performed with a joy of playing as if the quartet had sprung from a fountain of youth. A real punch of power and rawness with sophisticated arrangements and great songs, which already have the potential to become classics of their genre. The album is not only an ode to Heavy Metal - it simply IS "Pure Fucking Heavy Metal"!

"The Time Will Come" was recorded at Cube Studio in Lörrach by the band, before mastermind Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Magnum) did the mixing and mastering at Humble Studio in Karlsruhe (Sinner, Khymera, Primal Fear, a.o.)

My Recomendation

As the band expresses the return of the band with this album, "The Time Will Come" offers a huge compilation of powerful, raw, forceful and aggressive riffs, two-part guitars with chords with high and somewhat low scales, with a emblematic ballad, with variations in rhythm and melody, there is a lot of Heavy Metal here, with Hard Rock as well and a bit of Speed Metal at times, it reminded me of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or Quiet Riot !! with screaming melodic classical voices, a real punch of power and rawness with arrangements on those phenomenal chords and great classical songs. As they say it is simply "Pure Fucking Heavy Metal"!

The Voice

The classic voice within Heavy Metal is and must be somewhat sharp to reach the desired scales along with those chords or riffs with heavy guitars, they do it throughout the album! Except in some songs that the scale goes very high and no longer sounds like the end of the song.

Entrando de lleno con alta energía, acordes fuertes y duros, batería en la misma escala, Riffs llenos de fuerza y potencia.

Tal como lo expresa la banda el regreso de la banda con este albúm, "The Time Will Come" ofrece una enorme compilación de riffs poderosos, crudos, contundentes y agresivos, guitarras de dos partes con acordes con escalas altas y algo bajas, con una emblemática balada, con variaciones en ritmo y melodía, hay mucho Heavy Metal aquí, con Hard Rock también y un poco de Speed Metal de momentos, me recordó a Judas Priest, Iron Maiden o Quiet Riot!! con voces clásicas melódicas a gritos, Un verdadero golpe de poder y crudeza con arreglos en esos acordes fenomenales y grandes canciones clásicas. Como dicen ellos mismo ¡simplemente ES "Pure Fucking Heavy Metal"!
