With an emotional and energetic live-action production for all kinds of audiences from power to folk, from gothic to pagan, the band has been making a name for themselves with touring and festival performances in Germany, Switzerland, France, and their home country of Spain.

Crusade of Bards was formed in 2016 by Paolo Andreotti (keyboards & vocals) and Eleanor Tenebre (vocals) to create music that could mix all their favorite styles and concepts. Initially just a studio project, it soon grew into a full live production that the band describes as witnessing the "Wien-Orchestra directed by Davy Jones".

"The live-action is definitely one of our biggest assets. Don’t expect the classical symphonic metal act filled with solemnity, blue strobes, and thick smoke. Our piracy side, our Mediterranean background, it all comes out into an energetic, vibrant, and dynamic set. Don’t get me wrong, we are not the typical Hollywoodian stereotyped pirates, and we do get serious when it is necessary…just don’t expect a liturgy." adds the band.

On this second album, Crusade of Bards has a mix of history-inspired songs and social themes. Paolo Andreotti (keyboards & vocals) is the lyricist and he loves history and geography so the whole concept of the record revolves around the 7 seas, 2 songs for every sea, and each of them about stories that took place or refer to the area washed by them. As you dig deeper into the lyrics, the structure chosen tends to use the same rhetorical figures of romanticism and neo-realism with a strong connection between the sound of a certain word and its meaning. This leads to inner references that may be appreciated by just reading the lyrics, even without the music.

My Recomendation

Con una producción de acción en vivo emocional y enérgica para todo tipo de audiencias, desde el power hasta el folk, desde el gótico hasta el pagano, la banda se ha hecho un nombre con presentaciones en giras y festivales en Alemania, Suiza, Francia y su país de origen. España.

Crusade of Bards se formó en 2016 por Paolo Andreotti (teclados y voz) y Eleanor Tenebre (voz) para crear música que pudiera mezclar todos sus estilos y conceptos favoritos. Inicialmente solo un proyecto de estudio, pronto se convirtió en una producción en vivo completa que la banda describe como presenciar la "Wien-Orchestra dirigida por Davy Jones".

En este segundo álbum, Crusade of Bards tiene una mezcla de canciones inspiradas en la historia y temas sociales. Paolo Andreotti (teclados y voces) es el letrista y ama la historia y la geografía, por lo que todo el concepto del disco gira en torno a los 7 mares, 2 canciones para cada mar, y cada una de ellas sobre historias que tuvieron lugar o se refieren al área lavada. por ellos. A medida que profundizas en las letras, la estructura elegida tiende a utilizar las mismas figuras retóricas del romanticismo y el neorrealismo con una fuerte conexión entre el sonido de una determinada palabra y su significado. Mi Recomendación

​

Es un albúm de mucha estructura musical bellamente hecho, las partes instrumentales, atmosféricas y sinfónicas son las que mayor carga tienen, riffs pesados y duros, con poco estribillo, acordes en algunas canciones pesados y fuertes, la batería con igual tempo y velocidad como la línea de guitarras entre el bajo y guitarras, orquestaciones en todas las pistas con interludios atmosféricos como al inicio, intermedio y final, una mezcla de Metal Sinfónico/Power y Folk metal con una historia cargada y pasional con el mismo mar, influencias musicales lo podemos escuchar, elegantemente hecho y estructurado, si eres fan de los fantástico, épico y teatral el nuevo albúm "Tales of The Seven Seas" te llevara por los 7 mares! Para Fans de Epica, Eluveitie, Alestorm. Ancient Bards y Rhapsody of Fire, entre muchos más!

Las Voces

​

Las voces son geniales, con un registro alto, limpio, suave y timbre, como lo es la bella voz de Eleanor que se mantiene con un registro ligero y agudo, la voz potente y fuerte de Eduardo es la contraparte perfecta y en compañía de Lady Ani en la pista 2 y de Fabio Leone en la pista 11!
