Hello my Friends! In this time i had the opportunity of to talk with our friend Sara Henriques of the Autist band!

The Autist is a Metal/Rock project from Portugal that aims to deliver powerful grooves wherever it goes!

Hello! Sara! Thank you very much! For this opportunity!

How are you my friend?

- Hi! I'm fine thank you só much.

Tell us about you? Who is Sara Henriques?

- So, I'm 24 Years old. I'm portuguese. I love music, I love singing. I adore animals. My family and my friends are very important to me. I studied arts and started drawing tattoos. I am honest  with those who relate to me, so they always know what i'm all about. In what I can I always try to help those who I love. I like being  around people that I love. But I also like to be alone.

Tell us a little about your musical career! I know you have influence of Simone Simons! Great! I hear some similarity in your video Pandora’s curse

- My passion is music since I was young. But I started to dedicate myself to this in this when I was 17 years old. My first band was Darkside Of Innocence; I have been there for 2 years. After that I made a project called Glitcherry. It was a solo project without any clearcut style Of music. Also, along with some friends I created a band called Past Undone. Now I am doing music with awesome people on The Autist and I am very happy.

Which is the range of your voice?

-I'm a mezzo-soprano. My vocal range is C3/C#7.

How do you train vocally? What's your secret!!

-I train my voice by singing other metal bands' songs. In my case I also train with pop singers. But no doubt that Simon Simmons influences me very much.

The Autist is an metal band from Portugal, ¿Would you give us a little background on your band?

- We come from a place that has a lot of different cultures and we like to create music based on the different energy we receive from various worlds. We ourselves have different tastes in what we enjoy to produce or listen to.

In a more internal aspect and how the workflow goes; we all have different tasks and roles for a better organization on the band. For example, whenever we're working on a new album I got to find artists for them to create an artwork...

Pedro Remiz besides of playing guitar also composes the basis for the music and writes the lyrics. So every member of the band has its own unique thing to do in order for this to work.

Tell us about your EP Pandora's curse is The Autist's first single from the debut álbum, ¿Which was the inspiration?

- Who has not ever loved someone...  who in a moment to other disappeared from your life? We all go through it even if it is once in a lifetime. It is painful and confusing at first, but then we  understand that we learn somethinh from it but in the end... The memories live with us  forever. Pandora's Curse is inspired by these experiences of life.

The style of his new álbum will be similar to the song of the EP? or will be very varied the new álbum?

- This new álbum will be very similar to this single. Pandora's Curse was released to mark  a new era for The Autist. But Of course, nothing prevents us from making a song like one of those featured on Entangled (our first EP) if we want.

Some advance that can tell us from his new álbum?

- As I said before, the álbum is going to be much in the style Of Pandora's Curse. It will be a story to share that everyone will identify.

How was to work with our friend Polina Psycheya? She’s amazing!

- Yes!! The video shows the result. Working with Polina was incridibly easy. She's ao derful and very talented! It was a pleasure working with her. We are very happy to haver her talent in our music. Yes! No doubt that we will be making more videos in a near future. Although it's not in our plans, we always get super excited to work in the next one!

La Entrevista! Desde Portugal

Hola mis amigos! En esta ocasión tuve la oportunidad de hablar con nuestra amiga Sara Enriques de la banda The Austist!

The Autist es un proyecto de Metal / Rock de Portugal que tiene como objetivo ofrecerte potente Groove por donde vaya!

¡Hola! Sara! ¡Muchas gracias! Para esta oportunidad!

¿Cómo estas mi amiga?

-Hola! Estoy muy bien, muchas gracias.

¿Cuéntanos acerca de ti? ¿Quién es Sara Henriques?

-Tengo 24 años y soy portuguesa. Amo la música, amo cantar y adoro a los animales. Mi familia y amigos son lo más importante para mí.

Estudié Artes y empecé a dibujar tatuajes. Soy muy honesta con aquellos que se relacionan conmigo, ellos saben muy bien como soy. Siempre trato de ayudar a quienes amo.

Así como me gusta pasar el tiempo con mis seres queridos, también me gusta estar sola.

¡Cuéntanos un poco sobre tu carrera musical!

Sé que tienes influencia de Simone Simons! ¡Estupendo! Escucho alguna similitud en el vídeo la maldición de Pandora

-Mi pasión es la música desde muy joven, pero empecé a dedicarme a esto hasta los 17 años. Mi primera banda fue ‘Darkside of Innocence’, estuve ahí durante dos años y luego de eso inicié otro proyecto llamado ‘Glitcherry’. Ese fue un proyecto solista sin estilo musical definido.

También junto a unos amigos, creamos una banda llamada ‘Past Undone’ pero actualmente me encuentro haciendo música junto a maravillosas personas en ‘The Autist’ y estoy muy feliz!

¿Cuál es el rango de tu voz?

-Soy Mezzo-soprano y mi rango vocal es de C3/C#7

¿Cómo te entrenas vocalmente? ¡Cuál es tu secreto!

Me gusta entrenar mi voz cantando canciones de otras bandas de metal y también me gusta entrenar con cantantes pop.

Sin duda alguna Simone Simmons me ha influenciado bastante!

The Autist es una banda de Metal de Portugal, ¿Podrías darnos un poco de la historia de su banda?

Nosotros venimos de un lugar con diferentes culturas y nos gusta crear música basándonos en esas energías tan diferentes que recibimos de varios mundos.

Cada uno de nosotros tiene distinto gusto, sobre lo que nos gusta crear y sobretodo escuchar. Hablando de un aspecto más interno y de cómo es el flujo de trabajo en la banda; todos tenemos distintos roles y tareas para así tener una mejor organización.

Por ejemplo en mi caso, cuando nos encontramos trabajando en un nuevo álbum me toca encontrar artistas que puedan hacer el diseño.

Pedro Ramírez además de tocar la guitarra se encarga de componer las bases y las letras de nuestra música.

Como pueden ver, cada miembro de la banda tiene una tarea específica.

Háblanos del EP la Maldición de Pandora es el primer sencillo de la banda ¿Cuál fue la inspiración?

¿Quién no ha amado alguna vez a alguien, que de un momento a otro desapareció de su vida?

Todos en algún momento de nuestra vida lo hemos experimentado, es doloroso y confuso al principio pero después comprendes que debes aprender algo de eso.

Al final, solo nuestros recuerdos permanecen por siempre.

En esto se inspira ‘Pandora’s Curse’, en estas experiencias de vida.

¿El estilo de su nuevo disco será similar al sencillo del EP? o será muy diferente el nuevo álbum?

El álbum será muy similar al sencillo. Pandora’s Curse fue lanzado para marcar una nueva era en The Autist. Aunque nada nos impide volver a hacer una canción como las de nuestro EP ‘Entangled’

¿Alguno avance que nos puedas decir de su nuevo álbum?

Como dije anteriormente, el álbum será muy al estilo de ‘Pandora’s Curse’. Sera una historia que compartir con la cual todos se identificaran!

¿Cómo fue trabajar con nuestra amiga Polina Psycheya? ¡Ella es alucinante!

Así es! El video muestra el resultado. Trabajar con Polina fue increíble, ella es maravillosa y muy talentosa! Todos un placer trabajar con ella.

Estamos muy contentos de poder tener su talento en nuestra música, y sin duda alguna, seguiremos haciendo videos. Aunque no esté en nuestros planes, nos emociona el trabajar en el siguiente.
