Greetings friends, here is the new review of this 2017,  The  'What Hides Behind The Sun'

Kill Your Karma, progressive and post-metal band based in Turin (Italy), was formed between 2010 and 2011 by guitar players Stefano Bianchi and Diego Maglioni and bassist Claudio Canicattì. The lineup was completed after a while with Gabriele Luttino on drums.

​

The band started soon to write his own material, with songs deeply influenced by bands like Mastodon, The Ocean, Tool and Opeth.

Ruins

​

Dense and strong entrance, a predatory style when you hear them! Extremely strong and harmonious sounds with the combination of drums and powerful guitars, a heartbreaking voice comparable to the rhythm and balance between the times of voices and instruments!

Through the Sands of Time

​

Extremely technical and fast entry! Dramatic and sublime, but heavy and powerful, the treble mixes with the voice giving a little more emphasis to the song, although the voice becomes better evident in the company of guitars and loud and dense din!

​

Moon

​

A totally acoustic entry with the body of the voice in a sharp and strong note which changes to soft and methodical sounds with slow tempos to enjoy the voice in the company of guitars and drums that accompanies the atmospheric and subtle part of the album !

Melting Universes

​

Echoes in a middle note of a guitar and in the company of the voice leading us to that combination of strong and powerful sounds that later shows us with brutal power of the guitars and the voice that disappears in the dark, I like the slow but technical combination and Heavy at certain times of the song!

What Hides Behind the Sun

​

Excellent entry amazing and powerful! Tempo between slow and intermediate, with a lot of technique and splicing well the times between the guitars, drums and voice, combining the style between the soft, heavy and a little dark! With the note that reaches the voice gives even more body to this final song! In the final part that 'gallop' with the thrash metal style gives it a unique and well made touch! In addition to combined!

 

My Recomendation

​

I must say that it is a dense, structured, technical album, with a very marked style of Progressive Metal, has good musical technique, guitars are here the main attraction! Which is not always easy to match styles of this type, I take time to listen carefully and differentiate between each of the instruments to say that really is a good album well done, along with the combination of the voice of Stefania Durante gives More power to each of the 5 tracks, In the final part that 'gallop' with the style of thrash metal I did not expect it but sounds perfect!

It is a complete, technical and heavy album, with its own style and with strong guitars and a powerful battery!

 

The Good +

It has heaviness, rhythm, strength and sound!

The Bad -

​

Perhaps a little when combined with the instruments the voice comes to a point to match with the guitar notes and it gets to fade, but only in some moments

Originality and Creativity

​

Has presence since the beginning of its cover! Deep and mysterious, simple but contrasting in the meaning of that part hidden in all sides of the cosmos or in what surrounds us

Voices

​

The voice is perfect, sharp and heartbreaking for the combined sounds! A sharp and powerful that rivals some notes of the guitars themselves! Stefania Durante has a technical voice that can easily combine the clean part and the growl style mentioned above!

Saludos amigos, aquí está la nueva reseña de este 2017, ''What Hides Behind The Sun''

​

Kill Your Karma, banda progresista y post-metal con sede en Turín (Italia), se formó entre 2010 y 2011 por los guitarristas Stefano Bianchi y Diego Maglioni y el bajista Claudio Canicattì. La alineación se completó después de un tiempo con Gabriele Luttino en la batería.

​

La banda comenzó pronto a escribir su propio material, con canciones profundamente influenciadas por bandas como Mastodon, The Ocean, Tool y Opeth.

Ruins

​

Entrada densa y fuerte, un estilo depredador al escucharlos! Sonidos sumamente fuertes y armoniosos con la combinación entre batería y guitarras potentes, una voz desgarradora y equiparable con el ritmo y balance entre los tiempos de las voces y los instrumentos!

​

Through the Sands of Time

​

Entrada sumamente técnica y veloz! Dramática y sublime, pero pesada y potente, el agudo se mezcla con la voz dándole un poco de mayor realce a la canción, aunque la voz se hace mejor evidente en compañía de guitarras y estruendos poderosos y densos!

​

Moon

​

Una entrada totalmente acústica con el cuerpo de la voz en nota fuerte y aguda el cual va cambiando a sonidos suaves y metódicos con tiempos lentos para poder disfrutar de la voz en compañía de las guitarras y batería que acompaña, la parte atmosférica y sutil del álbum!

Melting Universes

​

Ecos en una nota media de una guitarra y en compañía de la voz conduciéndonos hacia esa combinación de sonidos fuertes y potentes que posteriormente nos muestra con poder brutal de las guitarras y la voz que desaparece en la oscuridad, me agrada la combinación lenta pero técnica y pesada en ciertos momentos de la canción!

What Hides Behind the Sun

​

Excelente entrada sorpresiva y poderosa! Ritmo entre lento e intermedio, con mucha técnica y empalmando bien los tiempos entre las guitarras, batería y voz, combinando el estilo entre lo suave, pesado y un poco oscuro! Con la nota que alcanza la voz le da aún más cuerpo a esta canción final! En la parte final ese ‘galope’ con el estilo de thrash metal le da un toque único y bien hecho! Además de combinado!

Mi Recomendación

​

Debo de decir que es un álbum denso, estructurado, técnico, con un estilo muy marcado de Metal Progresivo, tiene buena técnica musical, las guitarras son aquí el atractivo principal! el cual no siempre es fácil de acoplar ante estilos de este tipo, me llevo tiempo escucharlo detenidamente y diferenciar entre cada uno de los instrumentos para decir que realmente es un buen álbum bien hecho,  junto a la combinación de la voz de  Stefania Durante le da más poder a cada una de las 5 pistas, En la parte final ese ‘galope’ con el estilo de thrash metal no me lo esperaba pero suena perfecto!

Es un álbum completo, técnico y pesado, con un estilo propio y con fuertes guitarras y al igual una potente batería!

​

 Tiene pesadez, ritmo, fuerza y sonido!

Lo Malo-

​

Quizás un poco al combinarse con los instrumentos la voz llega a un punto a igualarse con las notas de guitarra y se llega a desvanecer, pero solo en algunos momentos

Originalidad y Creatividad

​

Tiene presencia desde el inicio de su portada! Profunda y misteriosa, sencilla pero contrastante en el significado de esa parte oculta en todos lados del cosmos o en lo que nos rodea

Voces

​

La voz es perfecta, aguda y desgarradora para los sonidos combinados! Un agudo y poderoso que rivaliza con algunas notas de las guitarras mismas! Stefania Durante tiene una voz técnica que fácilmente puede combinar la parte limpia y el estilo desgarrador antes mencionado!
