Luna Kills is energy filled, hard hitting rock band from Finland. With hard work and persistence the band has paved a way for themselves. Band has a great number of gigs behind varying from smaller pubs to festival stages, from Finland to abroad. They have done two small tours to Russia and have shared stages with big Finnish and foreign acts such as Reckless Love and Thundermother.

Band was originally formed in 2015 under name "Tocornal" with Lotta Ruutiainen (vox), Samuli Paasineva (gtr), but officially started 2016. Band has had few line-up changes over the years but finally gained its shape, with Lassi Peltonen on bass and Maiju Mäki on drums.

Luna Kills sound is rock mixed with heavier elements and with a lot of attitude, still described as”one of a kind” by their audience. Band is also known for their captivating live show and room filling stage charisma.

Luna Kills first released their debut album ''Before the Satellites'' without a label in November of 2018, but they were signed to King2Music Records next year, so they re-released the album via the record label in November 29th 2019.

Currently the band is preparing to hit the studio with new material to be released in 2020.

Excellent and very soft atmospheric, ambient entrance with a piano and a background choir! The waves welcome us.

Violent Waters

The environmental entrance is great a continuation of the previous track, the drummer marking the tempo and a voice that reminds us of that unique eighties Hard Rock with that falsetto that launches our beautiful Lotta along with that melodic synchronic chord and sharp riffs!

Desperado

That chord on this track, totally environmental, reminds me of the old west!

Aftermath

The previous acoustic track opens the way to this new song, with a beautiful sensual input and provocative voice of Lotta! After a shower of chords from a rabid rock! I like that rock style full of catchy choruses, a discreet drummer but very provocative guitar chords full of riffs.

Shake It

An excellent change with a repetitive and fast chord, and we start together the most challenging and provocative voice of Lotta! A melodic track with more energy! And of course with a super riffs that accompanies this song more full of energy.

Heartbreaking Cool

A narrative about what Heartbreaking means! And then a beautiful sound with a style of jass and blues! I love Lotta's voice! Play with the notes and project them with a lot of sensuality!

Eclipse

Beautiful sound of sublime drum cymbals that accompanies Lotta's seductive voice! With an environment full of darkness, another environmental track!

God Bless

That sensual and seductive sounds I hear! Above all the accompanying riffs are seductive murderers! Slow and fast musical notes in short and sometimes successive tempos! The chord in this song is dangerous! Especially when it is in the middle where everything is paralyzed and Lotta's voice conquers you with a rougher ending!

Excellent entry! Very sexy in the beautiful voice of Lotta, an even more melodic and faster-paced track, as well as catchy! Here Lotta's voice carries the entire track with excellent handling in her vocal record changes.

Wow I think this song has a Ballad part! Where we can always hear with clarity and mastery the voice of the singer or the singer with a low register, slow and long notes, and with an extra ingredient! Guitar chords without missing those catchy riffs!

My Recommendation

It has a very sublime environmental introduction with rock music full of eighties energy, with a Jass style and Lotta's voice with a remarkable Blues print! or tell me otherwise! It is a beautiful musical contrast! A very continuous album full of riffs that support a lot and give body to all the songs in the company of Lotta's voice, a solid album that shows the scope as tempos, style and energy change! It has energetic songs and full of feeling! It is a soft and at the same time rough album! To enjoy it slowly and each of the songs and lyrics, in the guide of the beautiful and captivating voice of Lotta!

It is a good debut album of the band, shows both vocal and musical skills of the group in all aspects and especially with a Finnish label! In chords with excellent combinations of slow or fast notes.

If you like 80s Rock Heartbreaker with a Blues style, you will love this album!

The Voice

I am surprised by Lotta's voice, she is very sensual as powerful, vocalist Lotta Ruutiainen is the star and guide in all musical tracks, her record is soft, clean and sharp! It fits perfectly to the chords of those notable guitars. Handles very well and captures each note with a sensuality and forceful energy, does not lose strength to changes in rhythm and sound.

Luna Kills es una banda de rock de gran impacto y energía de Finlandia. Con trabajo duro y persistencia, la banda se ha allanado el camino. La banda tiene una gran cantidad de conciertos detrás, desde pequeños públicos hasta escenarios grandes en festivales, desde Finlandia hasta el extranjero. Han realizado dos pequeñas giras por Rusia y han compartido escenarios con grandes actos finlandeses y extranjeros como Reckless Love y Thundermother.

La banda se formó originalmente en 2015 bajo el nombre "Tocornal" con Lotta Ruutiainen (voz), Samuli Paasineva (gtr), pero comenzó oficialmente en 2016. Excelente y muy suave entrada atmosférica, ambiental con un piano y un coro de fondo! El oleaje nos da la bienvenida.

Violent Waters

La entrada ambiental es genial una continuación de la pista anterior, la batería marcando el tempo y una voz que nos recuerda a ese Hard Rock ochentero único con ese falsete que lanza nuestra bella Lotta junto a ese acorde en sincronía melódica y riffs punzantes!

Desperado

Que acorde en esta pista, totalmente ambiental, me recuerda al viejo oeste!

Aftermath

La pista acústica anterior abre paso a esta nueva canción, con una bella entrada sensual y provocativa voz de Lotta! Después una lluvia de acordes de un rabioso rock! Me agrada ese estilo rocanrolero lleno de estribillos pegadizos, una batería discreta pero unos acordes de guitarras muy provocativos y llenos de riffs.

Shake It

Un cambio excelente con un acorde repetitivo y rápido, y arrancamos en conjunto a la voz más desafiante y provocativa de Lotta! Una pista melódica y con más energía! Y por supuesto con un súper riffs que acompaña a esta canción más llena de energía.

Heartbreaking Cool

Una narrativa acerca de lo que significa Heartbreaking! Y después un bello sonido con un estilo de jass y blues! Me encanta la voz de Lotta! Juega con las notas y te las proyecta con mucha sensualidad!

Eclipse

Bello sonido de los platillos de la batería sublime que acompaña a la voz seductora de Lotta! Junto a un ambiente lleno de oscuridad, otra pista ambiental!

God Bless

Vaya que sonidos tan sensuales y seductores escucho! Sobre todos los riffs que acompañan son asesinos seductores! Notas musicales lentas y rápidas en tempos cortos y a veces sucesivos! El acorde en esta canción es peligroso! Sobre todo cuando está a la mitad donde todo se paraliza y la voz de Lotta te conquista con un final más rudo!

Life Goals

Excelente entrada! Muy sexy en la bella voz de Lotta, una pista aún más melódica y con mayor ritmo, además de pegadiza! aquí la voz de Lotta lleva toda la pista con excelente manejo en sus cambios de registro vocal.

Take Me Home

Vaya! Creo que esta canción tiene una parte Balada! Donde siempre podemos escuchar con mejor claridad y maestría la voz de la cantante o el cantante con un registro bajo, notas lentas y largas, y con un ingrediente extra! Acordes de guitarras sin que falten esos riffs pegadizos!

Crash

Y cerrando este albúm debut de Luna Kills! Tenemos una entrada muy suave de acordes y una batería muy sublime, y en compañía de la bella voz de Lotta, sensual y cautivadora!

Mi Recomendación

Tiene un introducción ambiental muy sublime con música rock llena de energía ochentera, con un estilo de Jass y la voz de Lotta con una estampa de Blues notable! o díganme lo contrario! Es un bello contraste musical! Un albúm muy continuo y lleno de riffs que respaldan bastante y le dan cuerpo a todas las canciones en compañía de la voz de Lotta, un albúm sólido que muestra los alcances a medida que cambian los tempos, el estilo y la energía! Tiene canciones enérgicas y llenas de sentimiento! Es un albúm suave y a su vez rudo! Para que lo disfrutes lentamente y cada una de sus canciones y letras, en la guía de la bella y cautivadora voz de Lotta!

Es un buen albúm debut de la banda, muestra las habilidades tanto vocales como musicales de la agrupación en todos los aspectos y sobre todo con un sello Finlandés! En los acordes con excelentes combinaciones de notas lentas o rápidas.

Si te gusta el Rock Ochentero Rompecorazones con un estilo de Blues este albúm te encantara!
