Egrégor es una banda que nos está dando bastantes sorpresas! Una de las bandas revelación de latino américa desde hace un año y de este por supuesto, así como también un súper video Karma como uno de los mejores vídeos del 2016!

¡Muchas gracias! ¡Mi amiga Magdalena por esta nueva oportunidad contigo en esta entrevista y para cerrar este gran año! ¡Con broche de Oro!

¿Cómo has estado Magdalena? ¡He visto que has tenido muchos eventos!

Jaja estoy muy bien, y si, hemos tenido bastante movimiento, pero esperamos que nunca se detenga!

¿Qué tal va el álbum Karma en su país?

Tomando en cuenta las características de Chile, y lo que estadísticamente se muestra como gusto musical Chileno, jaja Karma va bastante bien.

¿El video de la Canción ‘Karma’ estuvo ¡excelente! Porque surgió la idea?

La idea siempre es hacer cosas nuevas, cosas entretenidas tanto para nosotros como para la gente, en mi mente siempre hay ideas locas, pero no siempre puedo realizarlas, por lo menos volvernos monitos animados se cumplió, además de que me gusta que Egregor trabaje y se relacione con otros artistas de la ciudad.

¿Tienen en mente otro video igual o con la misma producción?

Mmmm no se la verdad, no lo había pensado, pero es tan hermoso, que yo creo que en un futuro si es posible que se vean más cosas de ese estilo o parecido.

¡También quiero decir que el video de ‘Ritual’ me agrado mucho! ¡Tiene mucho misticismo he historia! Es uno de los mejores videos que he visto este año, ¿cuéntanos sobre la producción de este video y porque esa canción en especial?

La producción la hicimos nosotros mismos, Egregor, fue un video con harto sacrificio y auto gestionado, pero eso también genera mucha satisfacción al ver que a la gente le gusta y lo recibe bien. Porque ritual? Es un tema potente y crudo con una historia muy conectada y vivenciada con nosotros, tenía que ser plasmado en un video.

¿Qué más sorpresas nos tienes Magdalena con Egregor y si tienes proyectos alternos?

Bueno, con Egregor se viene un año 2017 potente, tengo en mente muchas cosas que espero ir concretando poco a poco, intento tomarlo con calma, pero no pudo negar lo ansiosa que me pone. Y sobre proyectos alternos, mmmm, Egregor es mi banda, la funde, es imposible separarme de Egregor, siempre ha sido parte de mí, pero a estas alturas a ratos se apodera de mi jajaja, no sé si yo tengo a Egregor, o Egregor, como esta energía consiente por si misma, me tiene a mí… pero si he pensado en sacar un disco “sola?”, no me gusta decir solista, porque de seguro tendría a parte de mis compañeros de Egregor tocando en el disco, es raro pensar en eso, pero de hacer algo, es porque tengo composiciones mucho más calmadas que quizá no calzan con la fuerza que quiero proyectar en Egregor para el 2017, no lo se la verdad, quizá incluya algo, quizá saque un disco aparte, quizá tome esos temas y vuelva algunos endemoniados y otros ilumados jajaja lo suficiente como para que se impregnen de lo que es Egregor y salgan en el nuevo disco.

Es raro dividirse de ese modo, confieso que me gustaría tener una banda con la que pueda sacar un disco calmado, un disco metal, un disco más experimental, o lo que salga, sin preocuparme tanto, pero el medio, y algunas personas son tan esclavas de los parámetros que sería complejo, confío que a Egregor llegan oyentes mágicos, siempre deseo eso y por suerte me he topado con que muchos de los que me hablan y me comentan sobre la música, si! Realmente son gente con otra concepción, con pensamientos y sentimientos profundos, adoro eso.

¿Qué significa el estilo de música practicada por su banda Egrégor, ‘Metal Ecléctico’?

El estilo, va relacionado un poco con cosas que comente en la respuesta anterior, intente denominar un estilo que me diera libertad creativa, no se si he logrado plasmar esa creatividad, porque me cuestiono bastante a ratos, pero por lo menos esa es la idea, un estilo que se enmarca en metal /rock y que me de libertad de, como define el eclecticismo, de conciliar estilos, pensamientos, tendencias, pensamientos, etc.

¿Cómo han sido los éxitos de Egrégor cantando en español y conservando el estilo místico dentro de las composiciones musicales?

Mmm no se bien definir eso de éxito, justo ahora que respondo esta entrevista estoy pensando muchas cosas, normalmente soy así, se irán dando cuenta poco a poco, pero paso de la calma a mi propio caos, y siempre es relacionado con reflexiones, por lo mismo el éxito me causa extrañeza, definirlo y verlo, si el éxito es ser popular no sé si lo seamos, si el éxito hoy lo defino y veo como sentirme bien, pues somos exitosos, me siento bien cantando en español, jamás me conectare de la misma forma con un lenguaje por mucho que lo aprenda, el español es mi raíz. Y bueno el estilo místico, es parte de lo que somos.

¿Intentaran hacer algo en idioma Ingles por ejemplo?

No lo se, siempre he pensado que quizá hagamos alguna versión de un tema en inglés, pero no es una prioridad, ni una meta.

¿Hay nuevos planes para grabar un nuevo álbum? Alguna pista!!!

Por supuesto que si, es un hecho, segundo semestre del 2017 saldrá el segundo disco!!

¿Algún Tour en Sudamérica, Centro y Norte América?

Estamos planeando un par de cosas, esperamos resulte, cruzo todos los dedos, y si me prestan dedos para cruzar bienvenidos jajajaja

How are you, Magdalena? I have seen that you have had many events!

Haha I'm very well, and yes, we've had a lot of movement, but we hope it never stops!

How's the album Karma in your country?

Taking into account the characteristics of Chile, and what is statistically shown as Chilean musical taste, haha Karma goes quite well.

The video of the song 'Karma' was excellent! Why did the idea come up?

The idea is always to do new things, things entertained for us as well as for the people, in my mind there are always crazy ideas, but I can not always do them, at least we became animated little monkeys were fulfilled, besides that I like that Egregor works and Is related to other artists of the city.

Do you have in mind another video the same or with the same production?

Mmmm I do not know the truth, I had not thought about it, but it is so beautiful, that I believe in the future if it is possible to see more things of that style or similar.

I also want to say that the video of 'Ritual' I really like it! There is a lot of mysticism and history! It's one of the best videos I've seen this year, tell us about the production of this video and why that particular song?

The production we made ourselves, Egregor, was a video with a lot of sacrifice and self-managed, but that also generates a lot of satisfaction to see that people like and receive it well. Why ritual? It is a powerful and crude subject with a very connected story and lived with us, had to be embodied in a video.

What more surprises do you have Magdalena with Egregor and if you have alternate projects?

Well, with Egregor comes a powerful 2017 year, I have in mind many things that I hope to be concrete little by little, I try to take it easy, but I could not deny how anxious it puts me. And on alternate projects, mmmm, Egregor is my band, it melts, it is impossible to separate from Egregor, it has always been part of me, but at this point sometimes it takes hold of my lol, I do not know if I have Egregor or Egregor , As this energy consents for itself, it has me ... but if I thought of making a record "solo?", I do not like to say soloist, because surely I would have part of my colleagues of Egregor playing on the disc, is Rare to think about that, but to do something, it's because I have much calmer compositions that maybe do not fit with the strength I want to project in Egregor for 2017, I do not know the truth, maybe include something, maybe take a separate disc, maybe Take those songs and return some demoniacs and others enlightened lol just enough to impregnate what is Egregor and come out on the new album.

It is rare to divide that way, I confess that I would like to have a band with which I can draw a calm album, a metal album, a more experimental album, or whatever, without worrying so much, but the medium, and some people are so Slaves of the parameters that would be complex, I trust that Egregor arrive magical listeners, I always wish that and luckily I have come across that many of those who talk to me and comment on music, yes! They really are people with another conception, with deep thoughts and feelings, I love that.

What does mean the style of music practiced by her band Egrégor, 'Metal Eclectic'?

The style, is related a little with things that I comment on the previous answer, try to call a style that gives me creative freedom, I do not know if I have managed to capture that creativity, because I question a lot at times, but at least that's the idea , A style that is framed in metal / rock and that gives me freedom, as defined by eclecticism, to reconcile styles, thoughts, tendencies, thoughts, etc.

How have the successes of Egrégor been singing in Spanish and conserving the mystical style within the musical compositions?

Mmm I do not know how to define that success, right now that I answer this interview I'm thinking a lot of things, normally I am like this, they will gradually become aware, but I move from calm to my own chaos, and it is always related to reflections, for The same success causes me strangeness, define it and see it, if success is to be popular I do not know if we are, if success today I define it and I see how to feel good, because we are successful, I feel good singing in Spanish, I will never connect In the same way with a language, however much I learn it, Spanish is my root. And the mystical style is part of who we are.

Will you try to do something in English for example?

I do not know, I've always thought that maybe we'll do some version of a theme in English, but it's not a priority or a goal.

Are there new plans to record a new album? Some clue!!!

Of course, yes, it is a fact, the second half of 2017 will release the second album!!

Any Tour in South America, Central and North América?
