Following up their award-winning EP, 'Los Angeles: The Trap', LA rockers The Spider Accomplice up the ante on their second installment, 'Los Angeles: The Abduction'. For this effort, the trio enlisted producer Steve Kravac (Blink-182, Less Than Jake, MxPx) to help mold their new, punk-infused modern rock sound. They also tapped former collaborator, Andrew Faust (Dead Winter, Midnight Shinigami) to contribute bass and backing vocals. Comprised of vocalist VK Lynne (stOrk, Vita Nova), drummer Justin Lee Dixon (Dendura) and guitarist Arno Nurmisto (Art of Shock),

Let's Review!

 

'Bromelaid'

 

Pleasant entrance of a sound and well done Rock! Along with the beautiful voice of VK! She gets away with a melodic voice that entangles us in the tissue of her music, very atmospheric and even passionate. The whole song is cozy and melodic, with good style.

 

'Messy Vampire'

 

A more aggressive VK along at a faster pace and excellent guitar riffs good! I like the company of voices! VK approach is much more characteristic, and allows the song to flourish and we feel even more.

 

'Behold The Day'

 

I like the introduction, there is fire in this song, with a catchy guitar sound, a Classic Rock Sounds good musical theme, sound and style. It is wonderfully melodic, just two or short notes detected riff and battery company, it is interesting what reflected in this song musically.

 

 

 

'You Still Lie'

 

A more rhythmic and more relaxed sounds song, the track is also a song from mixture Rock / pop is good song is hard to resist that very distinctive sound!

 

'Going Over'

 

A song sounds totally clean, clearer, quiet and noise in the sense that we can fully hear the beautiful voice of VK, a small beautiful ballad to end!

 

'Hollywood Hotel'

 

It will close the EP with style, after the narrative sets the stage for this scene in mind and later with stronger and faster Riffs! That gives excellent sound, bristling with energy and attitude the song. It's a good song on the last part of the song is shifted to a night bar, with the entire group singing! Good closure of the song!

 

My Recomendation

 

The Spider Accomplice, is doing a good job, remember the previous EP 'The Trap' The 5 songs are incredibly diverse, fast-paced, punk-infused, "Los Angeles: The Trap" is six melodic tracks of Classic Rock and New with Balada and Rock / Pop mixed so catchy, the SA nimbly through a variety of styles, however, maintains a consistent and familiar sound, Each song is linked to the next, both in sound and in the emotional part, in different clear contexts and experiences.

 

The Spider Accomplice continues to demonstrate that they have much potential to become even an amazing band!

 

+ Good

It is a good EP, has some sounds and different combinations !, which voice and theme of the album is continuous.

 

 

-the bad

No problems! As I said the disk is continuous and varied, I'm hoping the following parts !! In this case the third part of the trilogy!

 

Originality and Creativity

 

Great, Original with melodic sounds, no problem, very creative and genuine, in the Cover Art is curious, as the type of X Files!

 

Technique

 

Good, in forcefulness, compas and skill guitars and drums.

 

Vocal

VK's voice is soft, sharp, clean and clear, in fact has a good falsetto and the acoustic version can hear her voice and natural range of her voice, which fits quite well to the beat of the songs.

LA PARTE II DE SU TRILOGÍA "LOS ANGELES"

Después de su galardonado EP, 'Los Angeles: The Trap ', Los Rockeros The Spider Accomplice apuestan en su segunda entrega,' Los Angeles: La Trampa'.

 

Para este esfuerzo, el trío reclutó al productor Steve Kravac (Blink-182, Less Than Jake, MxPx) para ayudar a Moldear su sonido Rock-Punk-infused moderno. También hicieron uso de su antiguo colaborador, Andrew Faust (Dead Winter, Midnight Shinigami) para contribuir con el bajo y la voz de acompañamiento. Compuesta por la vocalista VK Lynne (stOrk, Vita Nova), el baterista Justin Lee Dixon (Dendura) y El guitarrista Arno Nurmisto (Art of Shock).

Vamos a la Reseña!

 

‘Bromelaid’

 

Agradable sonido y entrada de un Rock bien hecho! Junto a la bella voz de VK! Ella se sale con una melódica voz que nos enreda en el tejido de su música, muy atmosférica y hasta pasional. Toda la canción es acogedora y melódica, con buen estilo.  

 

‘Messy Vampire’

 

Una VK más agresiva, junto a un ritmo más rápido y buenos riffs de guitarra excelentes! Me agrada la compañía de voces! El enfoque de VK es mucho más característico, y permite que la canción florezca y la podamos sentir aún más.

 

 

 ‘Behold The Day’

 

Me agrada la introducción, hay fuego en esta canción, con una guitarra y sonido muy pegadizo, Sonidos a un Rock Clásico con buena temática musical, sonido y estilo. Es maravillosamente melódica, solo detecto dos o breves notas del riff y en compañía de la batería, es interesante lo que plasman en esta canción musicalmente.

 

‘You Still Lie’

 

Una canción más rítmica y con sonidos más relajados, la pista es también una canción entre mezcla Rock/pop, es buena canción y es difícil de resistir ese sonido muy característico!

 

‘Going Over’

 

Una canción totalmente limpia en sonidos, más clara, tranquila y acústica en el sentido en que podemos escuchar completamente la hermosa voz de VK, una pequeña balada para finalizar preciosa!

 

‘Hollywood Hotel’

 

Se va a cerrar el EP con estilo,  después de la narración establece el escenario para esta escena en mente y posteriormente con Riffs fuertes y más rápidos! Eso le da un excelente sonido, eriza de energía y actitud la canción. Es una buena canción en la parte ultima la canción se desplaza a un bar nocturno, con todo el grupo de canto! Buen cierre de la canción!

 

Mi Recomendación  

 

The Spider Accomplice, sigue haciendo un buen trabajo, recordemos el EP anterior ‘La Trampa’ Las 5 canciones son increíblemente diversa, ritmo rápido, punk-infundido, "Los Ángeles: La Trampa" es de seis pistas melódicas de un Rock Clásico y nuevo, con Balada y Rock/Pop mezclado de forma pegadiza, The S.A ágilmente atraviesa una variedad de estilos, sin embargo, mantiene un sonido coherente y familiar, Cada canción está unida a la siguiente, tanto en sonido como en la parte emocional,  en diferentes contextos claro y experiencias.

 

The Spider Accomplice continúa demostrando que tienen mucho potencial aun para convertirse en una banda increíble!

 

+ lo bueno

Es un buen EP, tiene unos sonidos y combinaciones diferentes!, el cual la voz y la temática del disco es continuo.

 

 

-lo malo

Ningún problemas! Como dije el disco es continuo y variado, estoy esperando las siguientes partes!! En este caso la tercera parte de la Trilogía!

 

Originalidad y Creatividad

 

Genial, Original con sonidos melódicos, no hay problema, algo muy creativo y genuino, en el Cover Art es curioso, como el tipo de X Files!

 

Técnica

 

Buena, en contundencia, compas y habilidad de las guitarras y batería.

 

Vocal

La voz de VK es suave, aguda, limpia y clara, de hecho tiene un buen falsete y en la versión acústica podemos escucharla su rango vocal y natural de su voz, el cual se acopla bastante bien al compás de las canciones.
