All-killer-no-filler melodic & symphonic & bombastic power metal at its best: every song of the new Moonlight Haze album is a potential hit single, displaying at the same time a rich sonic texture, some incredibly uplifting/addicting hooks and a meaningful and heartful message.

‘Animus’ represents a huge step up for the band’s songwriting and sound and got the five musicians excited since the very first melodies and lines that had been written. Lyrically-wise it’s an introspective and intimate work, but at the same time it looks at the world outside – willing to bring a bright message of vitality and rebirth.

Moonlight Haze is a power symphonic metal band from Italy founded in 2018 by Chiara Tricarico and Giulio Capone, vocals and drums/keyboards respectively.

The lineup also includes Alessandro Jacobi (also bassist of Elvenking) and Alberto Melinato and Marco Falanga on guitars.

MOONLIGHT HAZE will release the third studio album ‘ANIMUS’ on March 18th on Scarlet Records.

My Recomendation

The new Moonlight Haze album that he gives us contains a high dose of harmonic, melodic, rhythmic melodies, with catchy hooks, choruses that greatly accentuate those parts, the chords are soft and also strong, with riffs in the same intensity that are presented in some songs, the harmonized keyboards and the fast tempos, with a lot of melody make some songs perhaps sound similar, it is an album that is continuous and many of the songs seem to do so, without a doubt an album with many melodic harmonies of Symphonic Metal and Power Metal!

The Voice

Chiara's voice is great, soft, clean, clear and catchy, they give each song that softness that characterizes the album's own style, it unites heartbreaking and masculine voices with the same register and intensity.

'Animus' representa un gran paso adelante para la composición y el sonido de la banda y entusiasmó a los cinco músicos desde las primeras melodías y líneas que se escribieron. En cuanto a las letras, es un trabajo introspectivo e íntimo, pero al mismo tiempo mira al mundo exterior, dispuesto a traer un mensaje brillante de vitalidad y renacimiento.

Arrancando de manera más rápida, aumentando la ejecución de los teclados, melodía y sinfónica, una canción con mayor melodía de manera fenomenal.

La continuación de la canción anterior con ritmo, melodía y melódica semejante.

A Ritual of Fire

¡Excelente arranque! Con una explosividad aumentada, batería, acordes y teclados con velocidad, ritmo! La voz de Chiara se alza para irse junto a la melodía de una manera excelente y de manera armoniosa.

Horror & Thunder

Cerrando con ambiente de truenos y tormentas! Explotando de manera melódica, rítmica y con ganchos pegadizos como en todo el albúm en muchos pasajes musicales y agregando voces masculinas y coros breves que acentúan esa parte.

Mi Recomendación

El nuevo albúm de Moonlight Haze que nos entrega contiene una alta dosis de melodías armónicas, melódicas, rítmicas, con ganchos pegadizos, estribillos que acentúan mucho esas partes, los acordes son suaves y también fuertes, con riffs en la misma intensidad que se presentan en algunas canciones, los teclados armonizados y los tempos rápidos, con mucha melodía hacen que quizás algunas canciones se escuchen semejantes, es un albúm que es continuo y muchas de las canciones así parecen hacerlo, sin duda un albúm con muchas armonías melódicas de Metal Sinfónico y Power Metal!
