Greetings friends, I am very grateful to have this opportunity with our friend the Italian professional Opera singer Chiara Malvestiti which the opera pursue his career and be the new singer of Therion.

 

Malvestiti Chiara, who with his group Crysalys now regains presence in the international metal, as is the new face for no less than Christofer Johnsson, to be the new voice of Therion!

 

Chiara who was linked in various projects related to opera was invited, so has an Italian environment.

 

Therion continued commitment to the project "Therion Rock Opera," which Christofer be ready in 2016. This is an important tour loaded with several dates in Europe in October, in November will be back in Latin America, and again in January in Europe.

Hello my friend! How are you?

 

Hi! I'm fine, I came back since a week from Therion European Tour, my heart is still on stage! It's so weird to be at home now!

 

Who is Chiara in this moment? To your fans here in Latín América and all the world!

 

Chiara is always the same redhead dreamer since she started her path in Music!

 

Because you chose Therion? What does mean for you this great band?

 

I'm so honored and thankful to be the soprano of the undisputed fathers of Symphonic Metal! It's a huge gift from life that Destiny sent to me!

 

 

What are your musical influences within of Metal? In the Music Classic?

 

Speaking about Metal, I grew up with bands like Nightwish (Tarja - Era), Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Within Temptation and many others.

 

 My favorite operatic composer is Giacomo Puccini, his music tells my life and feelings.

I'm also a big fan of Celtic Music, Loreena Mc Kennitt is my fairy muse!

 

You have an Beautiful Voice! I liked! How was your vocal training?

 

Thank you very much! I discovered my operatic voice thanks to Nightwish with Tarja and Symphonic Metal in the beginning.  Then guided by the passion and the advice of my firsts vocal teachers and some experts, which they immediately noticed in me a big natural tendency for opera singing , I started to study ( I'm so proud to be italian for the majestic operatic heritage we have in our blood  )in Florence, the capital of Melodrama in a private Academy and then, in the Conservatory of Music.

 

Which is your vocal range?

 

I'm a Lyric/Spinto Soprano.

 

What are your favorites Singer of Opera, Females or Men? And why?

 

Maria Callas " la Divina"for the outstanding dramatic scenic art, supported by an incredible tecnique and a huge vocal range for the Artist and Diva she was inside her pain ; RenataTebaldi "Voce d'Angelo" for the softness, naturalness and beauty of her timbre full of power and velvet at the same time, Luciano Pavarotti "Big Luciano" for the immense and bright Voice,for the  italianness, every time I listen to his voice I start to cry like a baby.

 

Do you have other projects in Opera?

 

Yes, my challange will be to carry forward both, Opera  and Symphonic Metal !

 

Would you like to have a duet with some Soprano or Tenor in special?

 

I love to sing with Thomas Vikstrom, I love his voice!  In general I love to sing duets, especially speaking about Opera. Unfortunately the Tenor of my heart, the "Voice of the Sun" , passed away some years ago, one of my dream was to sing with our great Luciano Pavarotti.

 

What happened with your old band? Crysalys!

 

We stopped around 3 years ago. I and my boyfriend Fabio  spent some years to focus on classical studies and personal careers. But the band still exists; I will tell you more.. something is moving at the moment, maybe there will be some news about it soon!

We have a new wonderful and magic album to record!

 

How was this tour with Therion? beginning of this year

 

If you mean the European Tour of January was great! I really enjoyed it! But I also loved the Latin American Tour of November. You are a speacial crowd! I will never forget you!

 

That surprises has Chiara, with Therion for this 2016?

 

If I will tell you it won't be a surprise anymore..right? :)

 

There will be some new video with Therion?

 

I don't know at the moment!

 

Therion now dedicated to continuous new project "Therion Rock Opera," which will be ready in 2016. Christofer remain an important tour also loaded with several European dates and in November will be again for Latín América, By the way, Greetings to Christofer Johnsson!Any message for your fans? In Latín América

 

You are the most warm and special crowd of the entire world, latin blood is full of positive vibes, I really can't wait to come back to record my voice for the Rock Opera and to sing again for you guys! You are the best!

 

Anything else you want to share with us my friend?

 

I really hope to give hope, light and strenght to all the people listen to my voice during Therion's concerts.  You saved my soul on stage in a very hard period of my life! I love your energy and joy!

La Nueva voz de Therion!

Saludos amigos, estoy muy agradecido por tener esta oportunidad con nuestra amiga cantante profesional de ópera Italiana Chiara Malvestiti el cual el seguir su carrera de ópera y ser la nueva cantante de Therion.

 

Chiara Malvestiti, quien con su agrupación Crysalys, ahora vuelve a tener la presencia en dentro del metal internacional, ya que es el nuevo rostro por nada menos que Christofer Johnsson, para ser la nueva voz de Therion!

 

Chiara que estaba ligada en varios proyectos relacionados con ópera recibió la invitación, así lo cuenta a un medio italiano.

 

Therion continua dedicado al proyecto “Therion Rock Opera”, que según Christofer estará listo en este 2016. Además tiene una gira importante cargada de varias fechas en Europa para octubre, en noviembre estarán de nuevo por Latinoamérica, y en enero de nuevo en Europa.

Como has estado?

 

Estoy muy bien! Acabo de regresar de un tour por Europa con Therion y mi corazón continua en el escenario!.

Se siente tan raro el regresar a casa.

 

Quien es en este momento Chiara Malvestiti?

 

Chiara siempre ha sido la misma pelirroja soñadora, desde que comenzó su carrera musical.

 

Porque escogiste a Therion? Qué significado tiene para ti esta gran banda?

 

Me siento tan honrada y agradecida, de ser la soprano de este grupo que indiscutiblemente es el padre del metal sinfónico. Es un enorme regalo que la vida y el destino me enviaron.

 

Que influencias musicales tienes, dentro del metal? O en la música clásica?

 

Hablando de metal, crecí escuchando a bandas como:

 

Nightwish (con Tarja), Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Within Temptation y muchos otros.

Mi compositor preferido de Opera es Giacomo Puccini.

 

Su música describe mi vida y mis sentimientos.

También soy gran fan de la música celta y Loreena McKennittis, ella es mi gran musa.

 

Tienes una voz hermosa! Me gusta mucho! Dinos, como fue tu entrenamiento vocal?

 

Gracias por tu comentario. Descubrí mi voz operística gracias a Tarja de Nightwish y por escuchar metal sinfónico.

 

Después, me deje llevar por la pasión y seguí cada consejo de mis primeros maestros de canto.

 

Ellos, junto a un grupo de expertos, se dieron cuenta de mi tendencia natural por el canto operístico.

Empecé a estudiar en Florencia, la capital del melodrama.

 

Comencé en una academia privada y después en el conservatorio de música.

 

Me siento orgullosa de ser italiana, por la majestuosa herencia operística que llevamos en la sangre.

 

Cuál es tu rango vocal?

 

Soy soprano lirico spinto

 

Cuáles son tus cantantes favoritos de Opera?

 

María Callas ‘La Divina’ por su dramático y excepcional arte escénico, además de una increíble técnica y un enorme rango vocal.

 

Por la Diva y artista que llevaba dentro, ella vivía su dolor.

 

Renata Tebaldi ‘Voced’Angelo’ por la suavidad, naturalidad y belleza de su timbre aterciopelado y lleno de poder.

 

Luciano Pavarotti ‘El gran Luciano’ por el inmenso brillo en su voz y por su italianidad. Cada que escucho su voz, comienzo a llorar como bebe.

 

Tienes algún otro proyecto en la Opera?

 

Así es, tengo como reto personal mantenerme en ambos estilos. Opera y metal sinfónico.

Te gustaría tener un dueto con algún soprano o tenor?

 

Me gusta mucho cantar con Thomas Vikstrom, me encanta su voz!

Por lo general me gustan mucho los duetos, especialmente hablando de ópera.

 

Lamentablemente, el tenor de mi corazón ‘La voz del sol’, falleció hace ya algunos años y era mi sueño cantar con él. El gran Luciano Pavarotti.

 

Que ha pasado con tu antigua banda, ‘Crysalys’?

 

Dejamos de tocar hace 3 años. Mi novio Fabio y yo, decidimos dedicarnos unos años a nuestros estudios y concentrarnos en nuestras carreras.

 

La banda aun existe y te confesare algo; estamos planeando algo grande! Pero pronto habrá más noticias. Tenemos un nuevo y maravilloso álbum que grabar!.

 

Que tal estuvo el tour de Therion a principios de año?

 

Si te refieres al tour europeo de Enero, estuvo increíble! Realmente lo disfrute! Pero también me encanto el tour por Latinoamérica de Noviembre.

 

Ustedes son un público maravilloso y nunca los olvidare!.

 

Que sorpresas tiene Chiara para nosotros este año?

 

Si te lo dijera ya no sería sorpresa.

 

Habrá nuevo video con Therion?

 

Hasta el momento no lo se jeje

 

Therion se encuentra trabajando actualmente en el proyecto ‘Therion Rock Opera’’, el cual estará listo en 2016. Este tour tiene fechas en Europa y en Noviembre se presentaran en Latinoamérica. Tienes algún mensaje para tus fans latinoamericanos?

 

Ustedes son la audiencia más calurosa y especial de todo el mundo!

 

La sangre latina está llena de vibras positivas.

 

No puedo esperar a regresar para el Rock Opera y cantar nuevamente para ustedes! Son los mejores!

 

Te gustaría compartir algo mas con nosotros?

 

Realmente espero transmitir esperanza, luz y fuerza a toda la gente que me escucha en los conciertos de Therion. Ustedes son los que me han salvado, en un periodo muy difícil de mi vida.
