An atmospheric entrance with the call of a Mermaid and a sea wave bottom!
Neverending Nightmare
We continue with the atmospheric entrance, but gradually it increases in strength and we begin with an excellent thrash metal with pure blunt riff and in the company of Sloan's voice!
Inebriated Outcasts
A dingy, canteen atmospheric song with a swell in the background and an angry villager!
Three Sheets to the Wind
I like the style that have! A little pirate atmosphere! Slower this track, with a tighter thrash, more constant and similar tempos and chords, both drums and guitars go in unison, along with Sloan's loud voice.
Panic Room
We continue with the narrative and another atmospheric track, of a slave who claims help! With background screams, I like the entrance
Unbreakable
Open with a heartbreaking cry from Sloan! A slower and more constant sound, but then they surprise us with more strenuous and accelerated riffs and thus in a sway of fast and slow tempos.
Bound in Torment
That background sound of the waves is very overwhelming and transports you to a ghostly legend, another track full of atmosphere.
Paradise for Demise
We begin with a very sharp chord and tempo brand strong, stronger guitars and Sloan's voice opens the way for excellent execution!
Prelude to Fatality
We continue with the environmental clues, with a chilling cry for help from a sailor and the singing of a beautiful mermaid, which gives a prelude to fatality!
Dead Men Tell No Tales
Excellent entry with greater power and musical and vocal strength of Sloan! Faster and harder times! Those riffs make the whole game! Sloan's voice strong and brave!

Through It All
Closing with forcefulness, slower and somewhat long sounds, the riffs are brief, Sloan's voice can be heard with greater potential and clarity that adapt to the change of musical scales and in the final part it gives us a super demonstration! And with a beautiful and dark song of Sirena that at the beginning we heard.
My Recomendation
Syryn band! From Calgary Canada, they leave us this album full of sounds and somewhat curious styles! A Power / Heavy Metal with a strong Thrash Metal style, but in the European style such as Iron Maiden in the Heavy and Thrash part with a more structured and conceptual style with a Blues label which can be felt in many of his songs , we have 6 environmental / atmospheric and 6 songs full of history based on a Mermaid, a bit of pirate history! With a background sound of drinks and quarrels, in addition to the burdens of those sailors for what the Siren does and with a feeling that abuses her later.
We have blunt guitars, with crunchy, not so strong chords, the riffs we hear are well into tempos where Sloan's voice makes an excellent appearance, where we hear more strength is in "Dead Men Tell No Tales" and "Three Sheets to the Wind "as I say in each track, the environmental / atmospheric part is good but as it breaks the continuity of it a bit, it opens the album with a gloomy atmosphere and ends it! That is very skillful and very good! They have dominant notes of medium to low range and a bit long and this is key to Sloan's voice!
The album has the melodies, harmonies and rhythms with a combination of styles among the three musical styles that have the album is a good job with a Canadian style!
The Voice
As I said before Sloan's voice is the key, it is strong, dominant and versatile, we can hear how it changes between several ranges and changes of musical notes to different octaves in her voice in a short time! Una entrada atmosférica con la llamada de una Sirena y un fondo del oleaje marino!
Neverending Nightmare
Seguimos con la entrada atmosférica, pero poco a poco aumenta de fuerza y comenzamos con un excelente thrash metal con puro riff contundente y en la compañía de la voz de Sloan!

Una pista Atmosférica lúgubre, de cantina con un oleaje de fondo y un enfadado lugareño!
Three Sheets to the Wind
Me gusta el estilo que tiene! Un poco de atmósfera pirata! Más lenta esta pista, con un thrash más ajustado, tempos y acordes más constantes y semejantes, tanto batería como guitarras van al unísono, junto a la voz fuerte de Sloan.

Seguimos con la narrativa y otra pista atmosférica, de un esclavo que clama ayuda! Con alaridos de fondo, me gusta la entrada
Unbreakable
Abre con un desgarrador grito de Sloan! Un sonido más lento y constante, pero después nos sorprenden con riffs más aguerridos y acelerados y así en un vaivén de tempos rápidos y lentos.
Bound in Torment
Ese sonido de fondo del oleaje es muy abrumador y te transporta hacia una leyenda fantasmal, otra pista llena de atmosfera y ambiental.
Paradise for Demise
Iniciamos con un acorde muy agudo y una marca de tempo fuerte, guitarras más contundentes y la voz de Sloan abre el camino para una excelente ejecución!
Prelude to Fatality
Seguimos con las pistas ambientales, con un escalofriante grito de ayuda de un marino y el canto de una bella sirena, que da un preludio a la fatalidad!
Dead Men Tell No Tales
Excelente entrada con mayor potencia y fuerza musical y vocal de Sloan! Tempos más rápidos y duros! Esos riffs hacen toda la partida! La voz de Sloan poderosa y aguerrida!
Adrift
Una ambientación más acústica de un acorde triste y gris, con el mar de fondo
Through It All
Cerrando con contundencia, sonidos más lentos y algo largos, los riffs son breves, la voz de Sloan la podemos escuchar con mayor potencial y claridad que se adecuan al cambio de escalas musicales y en la parte final nos da una súper demostración! Y con un bello y tenebroso canto de Sirena que al inicio escuchamos.
Mi Recomendación
Syryn band! De Calgary Canadá, nos dejan este albúm lleno de sonidos y estilos algo curiosos! Un Power/Heavy Metal con un fuerte estilo de Thrash Metal, pero al estilo Europeo como por ejemplo Iron Maiden en la parte Heavy y Thrash con un estilo más estructurado y conceptual con un sello de Blues el cual se puede sentir en muchas de sus canciones, tenemos 6 ambientales/atmosféricas y 6 llenas de historia basado en una Sirena, un poco de historia pirata! Con un sonido de fondo de bebidas y riñas, además de los agobios de esos marineros por lo que hace la Sirena y con un sentimiento que la abate después.
Tenemos Guitarras contundentes, con acordes crujientes, no tan fuertes, los riffs que escuchamos están bien metidos en tempos donde la voz de Sloan hace una excelente aparición, donde escuchamos más fuerza es en "Dead Men Tell No Tales" y "Three Sheets to the Wind" tal y como lo digo en cada pista, la parte ambiental/atmosférica es buena pero como que rompe un poco la continuidad del mismo, abre el albúm con una atmosfera lúgubre y así mismo la termina! Eso es muy hábil y muy bueno! Tienen dominantes notas de rango medio a bajo y largas un poco y esto es clave para la voz de Sloan!
El albúm tiene las melodías, armonías y ritmos con una combinación de estilos entre los tres estilos musicales que tienen el albúm es un buen trabajo con un estilo canadiense!
La Voz
Como lo dije anteriormente la voz de Sloan es la clave, es fuerte, dominante y versátil, podemos escuchar cómo cambia entre varios rangos y cambios de notas musicales a diferentes octavas en su voz en breve tiempo! Cuando la música se aleja un poco de ella es cuando su Falsete se hace presente y predomina bastante! Además sus cambios en ese registro son súper breves pero así puede aumentar y/o disminuir en su rango vocal, la voz de Sloan es súper!
