‘Mater Larvarum’ marks the sixth seal of the Deathless Legacy discography in the ghostliest way ever.

Musically, the record ranges from classic heavy metal to gothic, symphonic and progressive metal, featuring sensual high and low female vocals and, as usual, some amazing atmospheric keyboards and orchestrations.

​

This time the story of the concept-album brings us in a world of feminine fierceness, creepy silences and shadows arising from the underground.

It’s a velvet-like, sexy and frightening feeling – something so powerful to twist your soul and forever paint it black.

My Recomendation

Deathless Legacy's new album starts off in a phenomenal, theatrical, and dark way, melodically articulating with a rhythm based on those harmonic chords and on the voice leading this Steva majestically and with choir voices that accompany her in Ora Pro Nobis, in Nightfall starts with excellent sounds of sharp guitars and funeral keyboards, with a slow and constant rhythm, with Hollow a standard heavy metal sound, Steva sings in a great way and with this classic style within a gloomy and hopeless atmosphere, in Fade Into The Dark we have a beginning of dark keyboards and a melody in the standard way of Symphonic Metal, with several layers and melodic rhythms that we can hear and with a macabre atmosphere, in The Coven with a faster and more melodic rhythm with Steva's voice launching twisted and strong lyrical hooks with a bit of metal and gothic electro rock, in Queen Of The Infernal Pantheon we have a harder sound, raw opening rhythm and upbeat l the sharp chords that later explode with a bit of power metal style combining the melodic and symphonic part in an excellent way, and so on until the main song of Mater Larvarum opening with a funeral chorus, slow, strong sounds and with Steva's explosive voice repeating the name of the song, with a slow, dense and macabre beat as such, with revealing riffs that shine and balance the scene.

The sound of the album is a good combination of heavy metal horror, with also power metal styles, a scenery or image to the macabre theatrical of King Diamond, thus the new album of "Mater Larvarum" is the fifth full-length album of the Italians and offers the perfect symbiosis between various musical styles and rhythms such as gothic electro rock sounds - pop and progressive movements in some of its songs, it is a good album! With classic, sharp riffs, compositions strung together to create a macabre, heavy scene, a catchy, addictive symphonic work that will quickly get you hooked!

The Voice

Steva's lead vocalist and vocal powerhouse is great and quite notable for the singer's vocal variety that dominates the brass-enriched orchestral passages, where her voice, range and register blend perfectly.

El nuevo albúm de Deathless Legacy arranca de manera fenomenal, teatral, y tenebrosa, articulando melódicamente con un ritmo basado en esos acordes armónicos y en la voz liderando esta Steva de manera majestuosa y con voces de coro que la acompañan en Ora Pro Nobis, en Nightfall arranca con sonidos excelentes de guitarras afiladas y teclados fúnebres, con un ritmo lento y constante, con Hollow un sonido estándar de heavy metal, Steva canta de manera genial y con este estilo clásico dentro de una atmosfera sombría y desprovista de esperanza, en Fade Into The Dark tenemos un inicio de teclados oscuro y una melodía de manera estándar del Metal Sinfónico, con varias capas y ritmos melódicos que podemos escuchar y con una atmósfera macabra, en The Coven con un ritmo más rápido y melódico con la voz de Steva lanzando ganchos líricos retorcidos y fuertes con un poco de metal y rock electro gótico, en Queen Of The Infernal Pantheon tenemos un sonido más duro, crudo abriendo el ritmo y compás los acordes afilados que después explotan con un poco de estilo power metal combinando la parte melodica y sinfónica de excelente manera, y así hasta la canción principal de Mater Larvarum abriendo con un coro fúnebre, sonidos lentos, fuertes y con la explosiva voz de Steva repitiendo el nombre de la canción, así con un compás lento, denso y macabro como tal, con riff reveladores que brillan y equilibran la escena.

El sonido del albúm es una buena combinación de horror del heavy metal, con estilos también de power metal, una escenografía o imagen a la macabra teatral de King Diamond, así el nuevo albúm de "Mater Larvarum" es el quinto álbum de larga duración de los italianos y ofrece la simbiosis perfecta entre varios estilos musicales y ritmos como sonidos electro rock góticos – pop y de momentos movimientos progresivos en algunas de sus canciones, es un buen álbum! Con riffs clásicos y afilados, composiciones unidas para crear un escenario macabro, pesado, una obra sinfónica pegadiza, adictiva y rápidamente te atrapara!

La Voz

​

La vocalista y principal potencia en voz de Steva es genial y bastante notable por la variedad vocal de la cantante que domina los pasajes orquestales enriquecidas con sonidos metálicos, donde su voz, rango y registro se acoplan perfectamente.
