Hello my friend Mary! Thank you very much for this interview with you!

 

How have you been?

 

Mary:

 

I’am doing great. Thank you.

 

Infinite band! What does it mean to you to have joined this band?

 

Mary:

 

For me, a dream has come true. Exactly such a band, I have always wished for. We all have the same goals and the same mindset. That's really hard to find.

 

What are your musical influences?

 

Mary:

 

When I was a teenager I used to listen to a lot of punk rock, rock, nu metal but also often symphonic metal. Then it became a little harder and harder up to Melodic Death Metal. Bands like Evanescence, Nightwish, Avril Lavigne have probably influenced me the earliest.

 

How has your musical career been?

 

Mary:

 

I have been making music ever since I can remember. First in school bands, then founded my own band. But that was always just a hobby. Only now with Infinitas, I have made my dream come true and am now an independent musician.

 

Tell us a bit about yourself! hobbies?

 

Mary:

 

I love to cook healthy and vegan and always try new recipes. I also like long walks or hikes in nature. And especially waters of any kind. As soon as there is a lake, stream or river somewhere, I have to stop and enjoy it.

 

But I also like to read good books that bring me further. To take courses that serve my self-development. But also spending a great evening with my favorite people or cats is part of my life. And I do yoga every day. <3 NAMASTE

 

You have a powerful voice! Do you like Death Metal?

 

Mary:

 

Thanks :)

 

I love melodic death metal. For me it is very important that the music still has melody parts, be it in the vocals or then just with an instrument.

Only Death Metal is probably too hard for me. *smiles*

 

Do you have other projects or separate jobs?

 

Mary:

 

I'm still working on a few things, but they haven't been published yet. I also give singing lessons. Info about that you can find at www.trust-your-voice.com

 

I am also attending a further education course to become a trauma healer. Let's see what else will come out of it. *smiles*

 

Do you like all types of Metal or is there one in particular?

 

Mary:

 

As I said above, it is very important for me that there is melody in the music. I like the mixture of melody and hardness.

 

I really like bands that mix clean and harsh vocals like Soilwork, Eluveitie, Insomnium, but I also like to listen to bands with harsh vocals only like Amon Amarth or Arch Enemy.

 

But partly also Modern Metal like Papa Roach, Beartooth, A day to remember etc.

 

Tell us about Kratos single, are you already in the process of a new album? Why in the character of Kratos? He is a great Warrior! Have you played the video game?

 

Mary:

 

We are working on the album, yes, and there are still many great songs to come. I'm extremely excited.

 

Kratos has indeed done it to me in my youth. I used to be really into the game. But today I don't find the time for it anymore. But because Kratos has always fascinated me, my little teddy bear is also called Kratos. *laughs*

 

Any video soon or another single?

 

Mary:

 

Yes, our new single XANA is out this March 8, 2023. I'm looking forward to that too.

 

Do you have dates for any presentation? any festival?

 

Mary:

 

Yes, we are playing at Metaldays in Slovenia this year, as well as Rockharz Festival in Germany. Other shows are of course still in planning, but not yet published.

 

Anything else you want to share with us?

 

Mary:

 

We really put our heart and soul into the band. It is important to us to bring the listener further in his life. To stand by him in difficult times and also to shake people up a bit with our songs. So that they follow their dreams and do what they love. :)

 

Anything else you want to say to your fans?

 

Mary:

 

We are extremely grateful for every single person who listens to our music and who supports us. Because every single person makes it so that we can live our dream and bring our music to the whole world.

 

Never underestimate the power of one. Because together we can create great things.
