Greetings! Friends! This week, I found a new voice and talent, which will tell us how she started in this genre, thank you very much for this opportunity to learn and support new talent, here I leave the interview!

Tell us a little bit of you, let the world know you better!

 

I'm a passionate of music, is what i love to do and since i was a little girl knew that it was what i wanted to be.

I started to study singing when i was 14 years old and since then i'm still studying at the Universidad Nacional de rosario (Argentina), is a degree in lyric singing, also the last year i started a degree in composition.

Besides, i'm taking lessons with particular professors because i like to sing in different ways, not only lyric singing.

 

What are your hobbies? how was your development within the metal?

 

Hobbies, lately i haven't had enough time for them. I really enjoy everything about the art, like books, movies and recitals. Also i like running and writing.

I started within the metal at 14 years old, i heard some bands with an aggressive sound and with distorted guitars. I had my first band within that genre at the 15 years old. 

 

What are your musical influences?

 

Many! my taste has changed through the years. Vocally i can't deny, that what really influenced me was Nightwish! It was one of the first bands that i heard.

It was like my first love, then came many more, as i was getting fully into the music: Epica, After Forever, Dream Theater, Symphony x and Opeth.

 

You are a songwriter, tell us, how does the inspiration come to you?

 

At the moment, i listened many genres (in and out of the metal) because i'm a person with open mind. I like to listen music from all the world and learn from it.

This help me a lot with the composition, i like to express personal experiences but also other experiences that i feel like mine.

 

What is your vocal range?

 

My vocal range is soprano Liryc Ligth

 

"descendant scall" is a beautiful song, how does this composition arise?

 

This song comes at the time I was looking for musicians with which to work and express my ideas. This wasn't easy in my town, because there are many talented musicians but they have different styles.

I decided to search musicians from around the world, i met to Alexey Soloviev a Siberian composer, who offered me a beautiful composition and the opportunity of express my ideas.

That was how emerged "Descendants Call", a beautiful hybrid of russian and argentinian ideas, besides i could contribute with my voice, my lyrics and my musical ideas, with the help of Martin Grassi, keyboardist and producer.

 

Will you have a new single or record?

 

At this moment, i've been recording songs that could be part of a new EP, also i will be working with other foreign composers who  contacted me recently.

 

Tell us about an special event that you have ever been to.

 

I have to remember one of the best experiences of my life as singer until today! Some years ago, i send a video of me singing a part of opera and i was selected to taking private lessons of singing with the soprano Tarja Turunen in Buenos Aires.

It was a wonderful experience, she is a beautiful person and an excellent professor.

 

What do you want to transmit with your music, your voice and your musical style?

 

The music is an incredible connection with the people. The emotions are my favorite thing to share. I like to express emotions with my music.

 

The only thing i can say are words!

 

what do you think of the people who deny its talent? people who have talent but don't want to show it.

 

I think that is better to take the risk and be known, before staying with the doubt.

We have to share the art with no fear.

Saludos! Amigos! Esta semana, me encontré con una nueva voz y talento, el cual ella misma nos dirá como se inició dentro de este género, muchas gracias por esta oportunidad de saber de nuevos talentos y apoyarlas, aquí les dejo la entrevista!

Hace tiempo que no escuchaba voces nuevas y de calidad de nuestro continente! Y mira aquí! Eres muy talentosa!

 

Hola! Muchas gracias a ustedes por contactarme!

 

Cuéntanos un poco de ti! Que el mundo te conozca! Quien es Mariana Brunel! 

Bueno, ante todo una apasionada de la música. Es lo que amo hacer y desde siempre, desde muy pequeña sabía que quería cantar.
Comencé a estudiar canto a los 14 años y desde entonces, incluso hoy, sigo estudiando en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (Argentina), la carrera de Licenciatura y profesorado en Canto Lírico, así como también la Licenciatura en Composición, carrera que comencé el año pasado. También tomo clases en forma particular con otros profesores, ya que me gusta cantar en distintos estilos, no solo dentro del canto lírico.

 

 

Que hobbies tienes? Como te formaste dentro del Metal? Porque este género en especial?

 

Hobbies, últimamente no tengo mucho tiempo para ellos. Pero disfruto todo lo concerniente al arte, ya sean libros, películas, recitales. También me gusta mucho salir a correr y escribir.

En el Metal me inicié a los 13 o 14 años. Escuché algunas bandas, con ese sonido agresivo característico de las guitarras con distorsión y ya no pude desprenderme de él! Por eso mismo, tuve mi primera banda dentro del género a los 15 años.

 

Que influencias tienes vocalmente y musicalmente?

 

Muchas! Mi gusto fue cambiando a través de los años. Vocalmente, no puedo negar que, lo que me influenció a estudiar canto indirectamente fue escuchar Nightwish. Fue una de las primeras bandas que escuché, fue como mi “primer amor”.  Luego vinieron muchas más, a medida que me fui metiendo de lleno en la música: Epica, After Forever,Dream Theater, Symphony X, Opeth, por mencionar algunos.

 

Eres canta autora, dime como te inspiras? Como lo haces?

 

 Actualmente escucho muchísimos géneros (dentro y fuera del Metal) ya que me gusta tener la mente abierta a distintas músicas del mundo y aprender de ellas. Esto me ayuda mucho en la composición. Me gusta poder expresar experiencias personales pero también ajenas que siento como propias.

 

Qué tipo de voz tienes? Que rango vocal?

Mi registro vocal es soprano, lírico-ligera.

 

‘Descendant’s call’ es una hermosa canción, tiene un buen compas musical y lírica, aparte de tu buena voz, como surge esta composición? 

 

Esta canción surge a partir de que yo estaba en búsqueda de músicos con los cuales pudiera expresar mis ideas, algo que no me fue fácil en la ciudad donde vivo. Está lleno de músicos talentosos, pero apuntaban a otros estilos.
 Así fue que decidí buscar "por el mundo" y me encontré con Alexey Soloviev, compositor de Siberia (Rusia), quien me ofreció una bella composición y la oportunidad de fusionar mis ideas. De ahí surge "Descendant's call", un hermoso híbrido de ideas rusas y argentinas, donde pude aportar, además de mi voz y la letra, mis ideas musicales, con la ayuda de Martín Grassi, tecladista y productor con quien tuve la oportunidad de trabajar.

 

Tienes algún sencillo o grabación próximamente?

 

En este momento me encuentro grabando canciones que podrán o no formar parte de un futuro EP. También estaré trabajando con otros compositores extranjeros, quienes me han contactado para tal fin.

 

Algún evento en especial en el que hayas estado? Dinos tu experiencia!

No puedo dejar de mencionar una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida como cantante hasta el día de hoy. Hace unos años: luego de enviar un video mío cantando un aria de ópera, quedé seleccionada para tomar clases de canto privadas con la soprano Tarja Turunen en Buenos Aires. Fue una experiencia maravillosa, ella es una hermosa persona y una excelente profesora. Con suerte, este año podré retomarlas.

 

Que nos quieres trasmitir con tu música, con tu voz, con tu estilo musical?

La música establece una conexión increíble entre las personas. Esas emociones, son las que me gusta expresar con mi música. Todo aquello que no puedo decir con palabras.

 

 

Qué opinas de la gente que tiene talento y no se atreve a decirle al mundo! ‘’hey aquí estoy ‘’?

Pienso que es mejor arriesgarse y darse a conocer, antes que  quedarse con la duda sobre como hubiera sido si lo hubiera hecho. Hay que compartir el arte sin miedo a nada.

 

Algo más que nos quisieras compartir?
