La banda Mayan, regresa a México después de ocho años, el líder y vocalista neerlandés Mark Jansen, voces femeninas Laura Macri y la mexicana Marcela Bovio! Con muchas colaboraciones de otras grandes bandas como Épica, Ayreon, The Gentle Storm y su banda Stream of Passion.

​

El álbum “Dhyana” del año pasado un disco que marca la búsqueda espiritual de la esencia del ser, y uno de mis 30 albums del súper Top 2018! Álbum que se disfrutó esa noche en la Ciudad de México junto a otros éxitos clásicos al final.

​

Con la entrada de una súper banda Visions of Atlantis, que combina melodiosamente voces masculinas de Michele Guaitoli una gran voz y amigo, el cual también es vocalista de la banda Italiana Temperance! Que también es el álbum Número 1 del año anterior, y con la bella voz de Clémentine Delauney el cual también con su sencillo en vivo Word of War! Deleito a todos los fans y entre otros grandes hits de la banda!

​

Primero en Guadalajara y el pasado viernes 25 de enero en la Ciudad de Mexico la noche inicio con Visions of Atlantis y cerrando con MaYaN cuando subió al entarimado sin dejar hueco alguno, durante todo el show.

​

Marcela y Laura haciendo solos con sus hermosas voces cautivaron a todos y más cuando se mezclaban con las voces guturales de los tres vocalistas al unísono, un gran momento de la noche fue en la interpretación de “Dhyana”, las voces de Marcela y Laura sonaron como musas en la oscuridad, con poca luz y la guitarra acústica de la hermosa y habilidosa Merel.

​

La agrupación en cada canción entregó toda su energía, en todo el concierto con una gran energía y potencia, ya cercano al último momento del concierto sale Marcela y dice: “yo siempre quiero seguir tocando, ¿quieren otra? Una de “After Forever“, y tocan “Follow in the Cry”!!! Una gran canción! De una súper banda con una gran historia de la mano de Mark y de Floor Jansen en ese entonces, y asi siguiendo con el éxtasis al tocar una canción  de Epica, “Fools of Damnation”, haciendo estallar a todos de emoción.

​

Y ya para culminar su presentación, MaYaN tocó dos éxitos más, de cada disco anterior, “Human Sacrifice” de Antagonise y “Bite the Bullet” de Quarterpast, Sin duda una gran  banda llena de energía, pasión y fuerza que durante dos horas nos llevó a conocer su propuesta de Death/Symphonic metal lleno de arreglos y voces, con registros excelentes!

MAYAN in MÉXICO!

Special Guest: Visions of Atlantis!

The Mayan band, returns to Mexico after eight years, the Dutch leader and vocalist Mark Jansen, and female voices of Laura Macri and the Mexican Marcela Bovio! With many collaborations from other great bands like Epic, Ayreon, The Gentle Storm and her band Stream of Passion.

​

The album "Dhyana" last year, an album that marks the spiritual search for the essence of being, and one of my 30 albums of the super Top 2018! Album that was enjoyed that night in Mexico City along with other classic hits at the end.

​

With the entrance of a super Visions of Atlantis band, which melodiously combines male voices of Michele Guaitoli a great voice and friend, who is also a vocalist of the Italian Temperance band! That is also the number 1 album of the previous year, and with the beautiful voice of Clémentine Delauney which also with its live single Words of War! they delighted to all the fans and among other great hits of the band!

​

First in Guadalajara and last Friday, the January 25 in Mexico City the night began with Visions of Atlantis and closing with MaYaN when they climbed the floor without leaving a hole, during the whole show. Marcela and Laura making alone with their beautiful voices captivated everyone and more when they mixed with the guttural voices of the three vocalists in unison, a great moment of the night was in the interpretation of "Dhyana", the voices of Marcela and Laura sounded like muses in the dark, with little light and the acoustic guitar of the beautiful and skillful Merel.

​

The group in each song gave all its energy, in the whole concert with great energy and power, and close to the last moment of the concert Marcela leaves and says: "I always want to continue playing, do you want another? One of "After Forever", and play "Follow in the Cry" !!! A great song! Of a super band with a great story of the hand of Mark and Floor Jansen at that time, and so continuing with the ecstasy when playing a song of Epica, "Fools of Damnation", making everyone explode with emotion.

​

And at the end of the presentation of them, MaYaN played two more hits, from each previous album, "Human Sacrifice" by Antagonise and "Bite the Bullet" by Quarterpast, Without a doubt a great band full of energy, passion and strength that for two hours we took to know his proposal of Death / Symphonic metal full of arrangements and voices, with excellent records!
