Italian symphonic metallers Eternal Silence will be releasing their new album "Timegate Anathema" on October 8, 2021 via Rockhots Records. Recorded at The Groove Factory (Udine, Italy) and Line/Out Studio (Milano, Italy) with mixing and mastering by Michele Guaitoli (Visions of Atlantis, Temperance, Kaledon), the full length will feature ten tracks of symphonic and power prog metal plus will see the band introduce new elements and experimentation into their sound. The album goes from power metal songs like "The Way Of Time" and "My Soul Sad Until Death" to heavy and dark ones like "Rain and Red Death Masquerade", passing through the catchy melodies of tracks like "Glide In The Air" and acoustic moments on "Lonely and Firefly". The main theme that inspired the record is the concept of time.

“It has been a long time since our last full length was released, we took our time to make the best songs possible and then the pandemic broke in and forced us to stop and wait for the right time to publish it. But now everything is ready and we can't wait to finally share this with you all.” adds the band.

With a lot of energy we started the album, fast chords, with high melodic content and harmonic keyboards that enliven and give atmosphere to this initial song.

Edge Of The Dream

Melodic symphony, with excellent movements of classical elements from the beginning such as the violin, later strong chords, and with a slow step, the two voices of both are perfect.

Ancient Spirit

An excellent beginning loaded with electronic elements with the keyboard, chords that make a more robust presence as the melodic and harmonic song progresses with a bit of neoclassical style.

Heart Of Lead

Perhaps we have a ballad in this song with the male vocal input, which is later joined by Marika's melodic voice and a bit of catchy flair in those chords, but soon the style of the song changes to its modern symphonic style.

Lonely

Excellent song with a symphonic and instrumental beginning, completely in Alberto's voice.

Glide In The Air

My Recomendation

Eternal Silence gives us the fourth album Timegate Anathema full of modern symphonic metal in the sense of more electronic content, discreet riffs and slightly faster rhythms without falling into a total combination of power metal, vocals in choruses, progressive movements and very neoclassical elements. well implemented as it is in Italian Metal, Eternal Silence gives us a balanced album, with previous elements said with moments of power metal without falling into this style, fast songs like "The Way of Time" and "My Soul Sad Until Death" , with catchy melodies and slower songs, introspective and with classical elements - acoustic like "Edge of the Dream", 'Firefly' and "Lonely", we have a good production in this fourth album Timegate Anathema, for the fans of Ancient Bards, Temperance, After Forever, Amberian Dawn, among others!

The Voice

Marika Vanni has a beautiful, melodic voice, register at times deep, clean and rich, with a somewhat pop style and thus avoiding a bit of the full operatic approach, Alberto's voice is great keeping the scale and range, his voice is coupled perfectly to Marika's making an excellent, very strong duet.

Con mucha energía comenzamos el albúm, acordes veloces, con alto contenido melódico y teclados armónicos que amenizan y le dan atmosfera a esta canción inicial.

Edge Of The Dream

Sinfonía melódica, con excelentes movimientos de elementos clásicos desde el inicio como el violín, posteriormente acordes fuertes, y con paso lento, las dos voces de ambos es perfecta.

Ancient Spirit

Un excelente inicio cargado de elementos electrónicos con el teclado, acordes que hacen presencia de manera más robusta conforme avanza la canción melódica y armónica con un poco de estilo neoclásico.

Heart Of Lead

Una balada quizás tenemos en esta canción con la entrada vocal masculina, que posteriormente se le une la voz melódica de Marika y un poco de estilo pegadizo en esos acordes, pero pronto el estilo de la canción cambia a su estilo sinfónico moderno.

Lonely

Excelente canción con un inicio sinfónico e instrumental, completamente en voz de Alberto.

Glide In The Air

Volvemos con un poco de mayor velocidad, ritmo y melodía, a cargo de teclados cargados y acordes discretos.

Rain

Un poco de mayor pesadez en esas guitarras con acordes un poco más contundentes, un poco del sonido y estilo similar con en las pistas anteriores, guardando el estilo y melodía.

My Soul Sad Until Death

Guardando el estilo anterior de la Rain, con mayor contundencia y pesadez en los acordes con velocidad y ritmo constante acompañado de la bella voz melódica de Marika!

Firefly

Tenemos una excelente canción instrumental, sinfónica que le da mayor suavidad a todo el albúm en compañía de la bella voz de Marika.

Red Death Masquerade

Y la canción anterior fue el preludio para el gran final instrumental, sinfónico melódico y épico con esta última canción, con elementos de toda la banda, batería, acordes rápidos y fuertes, teclados y la combinación de voces excelente.

Mi Recomendación

Eternal Silence nos da el cuarto albúm Timegate Anathema repleto de metal sinfónico moderno en el sentido del contenido más electrónico, riffs discretos y ritmos un poco más veloces sin caer en una combinación total de power metal, voces en coros, movimientos progresivos y elementos neoclásicos muy bien implementados como lo es en el Metal Italiano, Eternal Silence nos da un disco equilibrado, con elementos anteriores dichos con momentos de power metal sin caer en este estilo, temas veloces como "The Way of Time" y "My Soul Sad Until Death", con pegadizas melodías y canciones más lentas, introspectivas y con elementos clásicos - acústicos como "Edge of the Dream", ‘Firefly’ y "Lonely", tenemos una producción buena en este cuarto album Timegate Anathema, para los fanáticos de Ancient Bards, Temperance, After Forever, Amberian Dawn, entre otros!

La Voz

Marika Vanni tiene una voz bella, melódica, registro por momentos profundos, limpia y rica, con un estilo algo pop y así evitando un poco el enfoque operístico de lleno, la voz de Alberto es genial guardando la escala y rango, su voz se acopla perfectamente a la de Marika haciendo un excelente dueto muy fuerte.
