Official Info

Unlucky Morpheus has announced a new album titled “Evolution” was released on April 27! This is the band's first album in roughly two years since "Unfinished" was released in 2020. With the recent reveal, the artwork and tracklist for the evolution are now available, along with a stylish photo of the album. band where we once again see the members on and around a leather throne.

In particular, Unlucky Morpheus describes this album as a "sophisticated but wild" work, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that it lives up to our new expectations. We'll also see the latest single "M" Revolution included, a song that certainly ticks both of those boxes!

A totally symphonic opening, modern, background keyboards, atmospheric, conceptual and great violin sounds for a cinematic overture.

"M" Anthem

Excellent background choir opening the beat with fast, fast chords, the guitars in front and drums giving energetic passages with those harmonic and melodic beats with a lot of speed and energy that describes the band, that Jill Violin and riffs give it that power.

アマリリス

Starting instrumentally, opening the line for the symphonic parts, along with the forceful drums and guitar chords handling a not so serious scale to unite Fuki's beautiful voice with a very notable high register.

Welcome to Valhalla

Now we have a bit more stylized sounds and styles, with medium and slightly fast tempos, slightly heavier sounds where the guitars and that bass take control, Fuki's voice with a stronger and lower register.

Opening in a melodic, rhythmic and variable way with rhythms, tempos and forcefulness in the instruments, the drums take a little more prominence and that Jill's Violin that gives it that soft and elegant part.

Similar in sound, speed and chords handled to the previous song, but with longer times in the instrumental part between the guitars - drums and violin, the drums marking a lot of pace and speed, beautiful symphonic parts that give it that elegant composition.

"M" Revolution

One of the songs that was released with a video, excellent beats, rhythms, melodic tempos full of power metal in a perfect way! The harmonic parts are quite appreciated and Fuki's voice with total naturalness and register, clean and high.

A sublime form, elegant, melodic and with medium and light tempo changes, Fuki's voice changes very well! With a serious register, clean and with greater depth.

My Recomendation

Evolution! The band leaves us an album with full energy! Power, melodic, rhythmic, harmonic passages, a detailed, energetic Speed/Power/Symphonic Metal full of strong melodic chords! Symphonic and orchestral parts that give it that elegance and the parts with very fresh riffs, the interpretation of the guitars and drums is excellent, it dominates the entire album, each riff is devastating and striking, as are the solos that appear briefly, the Jill's violin is wild in many moments! Wer Ist Fausto's song is a great musical part, just a brief violin solo that stands out and fit perfectly, influences a bit in the style of other bands of this genre may be perceived, but the band has its own style of this Power /Symphonic Metal, and the distinctive part is that very outstanding violin of Jill! A balanced album between the musical and vocal parts!

The Voice

Fuji's voice! It is very striking and with a delicious high register, the voices are well balanced in each song, where the change in range and power of her voice is noticeable, the chorus parts give more body to the songs and Fuki's voice gives you the clean and powerful touch in your execution!

¡Unlucky Morpheus ha anunciado un nuevo álbum titulado “Evolution” que se lanzó el 27 de abril! Este es el primer álbum de la banda en aproximadamente dos años desde que se lanzó "Unfinished" en 2020. Con la reciente revelación, la obra de arte y la lista de canciones para la evolución ahora están disponibles, junto con una elegante foto del álbum donde una vez más vemos a los miembros sobre y alrededor de un trono.

En particular, Unlucky Morpheus describe este álbum como un trabajo "sofisticado pero salvaje", por lo que cruzamos los dedos para que esté a la altura de nuestras nuevas expectativas. También veremos el último sencillo "M" Revolution incluido, ¡una canción que ciertamente cumple ambos requisitos!

Un inicio totalmente sinfónico, moderno, teclados de fondo, atmosférico, conceptual y excelente sonidos de violín para una obertura tipo cinematográfica.

"M" Anthem

Excelente coro de fondo abriendo el compás con acordes veloces, rápidos, las guitarras por delante y batería dando pasajes enérgicos con esos compases armónicos y melódicos con mucha velocidad y energía que describe a la banda, ese Violín de Jill y riffs le dan esa potencia.

Arrancando de manera instrumental abriendo la línea las partes sinfónicas, junto a la contundente batería y acordes de guitarras manejando una escala no tan grave para unir la bonita voz de Fuki con un registro agudo muy notable.

Welcome to Valhalla

Ahora tenemos un poco de sonidos y estilos más estilizados, con tempos medios y un poco rápidos, sonidos un poco más pesados donde las guitarras y ese bajo toman el control, la voz de Fuki con un registro más fuerte y grave.

誰が為に

Abriendo de manera melódica, rítmica y variable con ritmos, tempos y contundencia en los instrumentos, la batería toma un poco más de protagonismo y ese Violín de Jill que le da esa parte suave y elegante.

Wer ist Faust?

Tenemos un bello, elegante inicio al ritmo y compas de Violín! Con acordes dándole la contraparte pesada y armónica, una canción de introducción instrumental.

Manteniendo esa energía, potencia y contundencia con la introducción instrumental de la canción anterior, nos entregan esa canción con un poco en cambios de tempos, la batería con mucha fuerza y dando el ritmo y compás con mucha fiereza, esos riffs geniales que con el violín acentúan esa parte melódica a toda velocidad!

Serene Evil

Semejante en sonido, velocidad y acordes manejados a la canción anterior, pero con mayores tiempos en la parte instrumental entre las guitarras – batería y violín, la batería marcando mucho el paso y rapidez, bellas partes sinfónicas que le dan esa elegante composición.

"M" Revolution

Una de las canciones que fue lanzada con video, excelente compas, ritmos, tempos melódicos llenos de power metal de manera perfecta! Las partes armónicas se aprecian bastante y la voz de Fuki con total naturalidad y registro, limpio y alto.

Una forma sublime, elegante, melódica y con cambios de tempos medios y ligeros, la voz de Fuki cambia muy bien! Con un registro grave, limpia y con mayor profundidad.

Mi Recomendación

Evolution! ¡La banda nos deja un albúm con total energía! Potencia, pasajes melódicos, rítmicos, armónicos, un Speed/Power/Symphonic Metal detallado, enérgico y lleno de acordes melódicos y fuertes! Partes Sinfónicas y Orquestales que le dan esa elegancia y las partes con riffs muy frescas, La interpretación de las guitarras y batería es excelente domina en todo el albúm, cada riff es demoledor y llamativo, al igual que los solos que breve mente aparecen, el violín de Jill es salvaje en muchos momentos! La canción de Wer Ist Fausto es una parte musical genial, solo un breve solo de violín que destaca y encajó perfectamente, influencias un poco al estilo de otras bandas de este género quizás se puedan percibir, pero la banda tiene su estilo propio de este Power/Symphonic Metal, y la parte distintiva la tiene ese violín muy destacado de Jill! ¡Un albúm balanceado entre la parte musical y vocal!

La Voz

La voz de Fuki! Es muy llamativa y con un registro agudo delicioso, las voces están bien balanceadas en cada canción, donde se nota el cambio de rango y potencia de la voz de ella, las partes de Coros le dan más cuerpo a las canciones y la voz de Fuki le da el toque limpio y potente en su ejecución!
