Rioghan is a solo project performed by singer Rioghan Darcy. Rioghan was founded in 2019 and is based on Lapua, Finland. Rooted deeply in both gothic and progressive metal scenes, she sure should bring something interesting on the table. She started off in 2010 as a poetry and lyric writer, but in 2019 she finally wanted to add some more to the mix and decided to fleshen up some of her words with music. She teamed up with a few skilled songwriters and together they came up with a 4 song EP “Blackened Sky” which was released earlier in 2021 via Inverse Records. Yet unnamed debut album is set to be released in 2022.

"I have always loved Modern Talking and definitely wanted to cover one of their songs. Now I got the opportunity for that so here you’ll hear a little different take on the song."

Dirty Horizon (Skold Cover)

"When I heard this song for the first time from Skold’s new album, the chorus started to loop in my head, and during the night it had transformed into this acoustic version, so of course we had to take that in action."

Chandelier

An excellent, very good interpretation of Sia's Rock pop song, the version that Rioghan gives us with stronger, darker and heavier chords.

Lonely Tears In Chinatown

She leaves us a good interpretation interpreted by the legendary German synth-pop duo MODERN TALKING, with a base of strong guitars, synthesizers and dense chords that greatly mark her version of Rioghan.

Dirty Horizon

We have a beautiful song with sublime piano acoustics, a super atmosphere that is perceived with this track, a ballad with the touch and stamp of Rioghan

My Recomendation

Rioghan leaves us a small EP album with good adaptations and interpretations of Rock pop songs within a Goth / Progressive Metal environment, marking and adapting those changes with a heavier and darker style, for lovers of some adaptations as she gives us, it is a beautiful composed and well structured EP with a very marked base in those dense and strong chords.

The Voice

Rioghan's voice is soft, sublime, clean with a very exquisite deep and strong register, from moments it increases its range as in Sia's version of the song, where she is heard with more Rocker style, and in Dirty Horizon totally elegant and her voice melancholy!

Rioghan es un proyecto en solitario realizado por la cantante Rioghan Darcy. Rioghan se fundó en 2019 y tiene su sede en Lapua, Finlandia. Arraigada profundamente en las escenas de metal gótico y progresivo, seguro que debería traer algo interesante sobre la mesa. Comenzó en 2010 como escritora de poesía y lírica, pero en 2019 finalmente quiso agregar un poco más a la mezcla y decidió enriquecer algunas de sus palabras con música. Se asoció con algunos compositores expertos y juntos crearon un EP de 4 canciones, "Blackened Sky", que se lanzó a principios de 2021 a través de Inverse Records. Sin embargo, el álbum debut sin nombre se lanzará en 2022.

"Cuando escuché esta canción por primera vez del nuevo álbum de Skold, el coro comenzó a dar vueltas en mi cabeza, y durante la noche se transformó en esta versión acústica, así que, por supuesto, tuvimos que ponerlo en acción".

Una excelente muy buena interpretación de la canción de Rock pop de Sia, la versión que nos brinda Rioghan con acordes más fuertes, oscuros y pesados.

Lonely Tears In Chinatown

Nos deja una buena interpretación interpretada por el legendario dúo de synth-pop alemán MODERN TALKING, con una base de guitarras fuertes, sintetizadores y acordes densos que marcan mucho su versión de Rioghan.

Dirty Horizon

Tenemos una bella canción con una acústica en piano sublime, una súper ambientación que se percibe con esta pista, una balada con el toque y sello de Rioghan

Mi Recomendación

Rioghan nos deja un pequeño álbum EP con buenas adaptaciones e interpretaciones de canciones Rock pop dentro de un ambiente Goth/Progressive Metal, marcando y adaptando esos cambios con estilo más pesado y oscuro, para los amantes de algunas adaptaciones como nos regala ella, es un bello EP compuesto y bien estructurado con una base muy marcada en esos acordes densos y fuertes.

La Voz

La voz de Rioghan es suave, sublime, limpia con un registro grave y fuerte muy exquisito, de momentos aumenta su rango como en la versión de la canción de Sia, donde ella se escucha con más estilo Rockero, y en Dirty Horizon totalmente elegante y melancólica su voz!
