Liudmila Angel vocalist of the Witchcraft band, the genre Alternative Neo Gothic metal from Russia! She tells us some new news about her new album and some videos!

How are you, my friend? 

 

 Hello, I’m fine and hope that you too.

 

Darkzen: I’m fine thank you!

Tell us you've been doing all this time?

 

Oh, I was in a deep depression for a long time. Some bad things happen in your life and you cannot influence on some processes, you can just stay and watch. Then I tried to concentrate on what is helping me to feel that I was still alive. So it was music and the creation of new songs and novels.

 

Darkzen: my friend do not get well, you're talented, fall is valid but always rise and never surrender

What's new with your band, Witchcraft? 

 

So, we released some videos. I think that the best of them is Silent Hill. I was inspired by the atmosphere of this movie and the music. We made a song and a video. Also we are recording now the 4-th album “Cinema”. I’m so excited when I realize that it will be released soon!

What plans you have for the rest of 2016, Liudmila? 

 

I hope to give some concerts with my band Witchcraft, to end my new book and to find more friends and fans of our music all over the world.

Any solo project? some new single? Any surprises of you? 

 

I started to create some songs for my side-project “Black Angel”, one of them was released it called “Under Water”. It is a dark sad story about a dead girl. She drowned in the pond because she was so unhappy. And there she sings her dark songs. This project not my solo project I make it with my friend Vladimir from BLACKSTONE band. I hope that we will be able to make all the songs and release it.

Do you have written a new song or already have something prepared for the new álbum of Witchcraft? 

Yes, we wrote and recorded many songs, so I thing that two of them we will release in October. It will be one beautifull ballad with the violin and the cello and one metal song.

The band will release a new álbum soon in these months? 

Hope so, I know we are so slow, but we try not to be like that.

With which bands you have participated lately? Or any tour in your country? 

 

With such perfect singer as Tarja Turunen, the band Arch Enemy, Xandria, Leave’s Eyes, L’amme immortelle, Draconian and many others and soon will be the concert with the Theatres des Vampires. No tours but I’d like to have one.

Tell us a little video of Silent Hill? As was the production? 

 

As I told I was inspired by this movie and creatires in it. So I decided to take it as a metaphor. The main idea is not the fear or revenge, the main idea of this video is love that can lead you even to the Hell to follow your beloved person.

 

Darkzen: Ohhh! Something like Orpheus and his beloved Eurydice

Why you chose that song and scenography? you look great! In the video! 

 

I like horror films. Silent Hill is one of my favourite. Thanks a lot. It was a difficult day for us 14 hours of shooting.

There will be another video like this? 

 

I’m going to make a new one but not with the kink with some films but it will be dark and gothic enough, ha-ha!!

I've seen some of your new videos are funny, which is the idea of making these videos? Freddy Crouger, Scream, Shark…etc 

 

:DDDD Did you watch them? Oh, no!!! It is a joke, we have a fun to make them. It is parody of horrors, such bad stupid humour but I like it. We created new characters: Jessica, Kimberly and their gay-friend Sebastian, they are always in bad situations.

 

Darkzen:  :DDDD I don’t know if laugh or cry! XD

Anything else you'd like to share my friend with your fans? 

 

I’d like to say that we want to visit Europe and US with the concerts. So, dear European and US booking agency and concert promoters it is time for Witchcraft

¿Cómo estas mi amiga?

 

Hola, estoy bien y espero que tú también.

 

Darkzen: Bien! Muchas gracias!

 

¿Dinos que has estado haciendo todo este tiempo?

 

Oh, yo estaba en una profunda depresión por un largo tiempo. Algunas cosas malas  suceden en tu vida y no se puede influir en algunos procesos, puede simplemente quedarte a ver. Luego yo trate para concentrarme en lo que me está ayudando a sentir que aún estaba viva. Por lo que era la música y la creación de nuevas canciones y novelas.

 

Darkzen: mi amiga no te pongas así, tu eres talentosa, es válido caer pero siempre hay que levantarse y nunca rendirse.

 

¿Qué hay de nuevo con tu banda, Witchcraft?

 

Hemos lanzado algunos videos. Creo que el mejor de ellos es ‘Silent Hill’. Me he inspirado en la atmósfera de esta película y la música. Hicimos una canción y un vídeo. También estamos grabando ahora el 4 º álbum "Cinema". Estoy tan emocionada cuando me di cuenta de que se dará a conocer pronto!

 

¿Qué planes tienes para el resto de 2016, Liudmila?

 

Espero dar algunos conciertos con mi banda Brujería, para poner fin a mi nuevo libro y encontrar más amigos y fans de nuestra música en todo el mundo.

 

¿Algún proyecto en solitario? algún nuevo single? Alguna Sorpresa de ti?

 

Empecé a crear algunas canciones para mi proyecto paralelo "Ángel Negro", uno de ellos fue lanzado  llamado "Bajo el Agua". Es una historia triste y oscuridad acerca de la muerte de una chica. Se ahogó en el estanque porque era muy infeliz. Y allí se canta sus canciones oscuras. Este proyecto no es mi proyecto en solitario lo hago con mi amigo Vladimir de la banda BLACKSTONE. Espero que seamos capaces de hacer todas las canciones y lanzarlo.

 

¿Tú haz escrito una nueva canción o que ya haya algo preparado para el nuevo álbum?

 

Sí, escribimos y grabamos muchas canciones, cosa por lo que dos de ellas se darán a conocer en octubre. Será una balada bonita con el violín y el cello y una canción de metal.

 

¿La banda lanzará un nuevo álbum pronto en estos meses?

 

Espero que sí, ya sé que estamos lentos, pero trataremos de no estar así.

 

¿Con que bandas han participado últimamente? O Algún Tour en su país?

 

Con tan perfecta cantante como Tarja Turunen, la banda Arch Enemy, Xandria, Leave’s Eyes, L’amme immortelle,  Draconian y muchos otros y pronto será el concierto con Theatres des Vampires. Ningun Tour pero me gustaría tener uno.

 

¿Cuéntanos un poco de tu vídeo de Silent Hill? Como era la producción?

 

Como he dicho me inspiré en esta película y sus creaturas. Así que decidí tomarlo como una metáfora. La idea principal no es el miedo o la venganza, la idea principal de este video es el amor que puede conducir incluso a la infierno para seguir su persona amada.

¿Por qué  elegiste esa canción y escenografía? ¡Te ves genial! ¡En el video!

 

Me gustan las películas de terror. Silent Hill es uno de mis favoritos. Muchas gracias. Fue un día difícil para nosotros 14 horas de rodaje.

 

¿Habrá otro video como este?

 

Voy a hacer uno nuevo, pero no con la peculiaridad de algunas películas, pero será lo suficientemente oscuro y gótico, ja ja!!

 

He visto algunos de tus nuevos videos son divertidos, cual es la idea de hacer estos videos? Freddy Crouger, Scream, Tiburón... etc.

 

: DDDD ¿Los ves? Oh, no!!! Es una broma, para nosotros es una diversión hacerlos. Es parodia de horror, mal humor estúpido, pero me gusta. Hemos creado nuevos personajes: Jessica, Kimberly y su amigo gay Sebastian, que siempre están en malas situaciones.

 

Darkzen:  :DDDDDD no sé si reír o llorar! XD

 

¿Algo más que te gustaría compartir mi amiga con sus fans?

 

Me gustaría decir que queremos visitar Europa y Estados Unidos con los conciertos. Así que, queridos de las agencias de Europa y Estados Unidos y promotores de conciertos es hora para  Wichtcraft
