The Tyrolean black metal collective Asphagor make an impressive return in 2023! With "Pyrogenesis", the quintet presents its fourth studio album, which follows the highly acclaimed 2018 release "The Cleansing". On the present 11 songs with a playing l ength of o ve r 60 minutes, the ban d off ers sophisticated black and death metal at its best, where fans of extreme sounds will get their money's worth.

 

With "Pyrogenesis", Asphagor once again create a complete work that is able to generate an atmospheric density that captivates the listener over the entire playing time and leaves him breathless and impressed. The new masterpiece was mixed and mastered by Victor 'Vic Santura' Bullok at Woodshed Studio. The impressive artwork, matching the theme of the album, was designed by Singer Morgoth himself.

In May, the Tyroleans will join THE SPIRIT on DARK FORTRESS' farewell tour to bring "Pyrogenesis", which is undoubtedly the highlight of their musical output so far, to the stages of Europe!

The album opens in a ghostly, atmospheric and dark way, with a raw and direct chord together with forceful drums, slow tempos and rhythms, in Nine Moons with an atmospheric, brutal and intense start with full black metal! Those guitars and drums with everything, with a bit of melodic black metal and that death metal style voice, in The Mizaru Doctrine that double bass drum and with more rhythm and melodic style with that black metal, guitars and drums with good rhythm and beat, in Matricide we return with a bit of a slow rhythm in the guitar and drum line, then with a change in tempo a little stronger where the drums have more prominence and those measures in the melancholic guitar chords, in Pyrogenesis we have a rhythm and stronger sound, more structured and hard bars, and so on until Ghost Of Aphelion with an excellent dark and funereal atmospheric closing! At the beginning of the song, then a forceful chord and drums with a strong voice wrapped in that powerful, dark and beastly rhythm! With changes in tempos of a good hard and heavy black metal, Asphagor makes a good return with "Pyrogenesis", in the whole album the band gives a sophisticated black and death metal, with some good melodic parts well done with a heaviness and atmospheric density that captivates throughout the runtime!

¡El colectivo tirolés de black metal Asphagor hace un regreso impresionante en 2023! Con "Pyrogenesis", el quinteto presenta su cuarto álbum de estudio, que sigue al aclamado lanzamiento de 2018 "The Cleansing". En las 11 canciones actuales con una duración de más de 60 minutos, la banda ofrece lo mejor del sofisticado black y death metal, donde los fanáticos de los sonidos extremos obtendrán el valor de su dinero.

 

Con "Pyrogenesis", Asphagor vuelve a crear una obra completa capaz de generar una densidad atmosférica que cautiva al oyente durante todo el tiempo de ejecución y lo deja sin aliento e impresionado. La nueva obra maestra fue mezclada y masterizada por Victor 'Vic Santura' Bullok en Woodshed Studio. La impresionante obra de arte, que coincide con el tema del álbum, fue diseñada por el propio Singer Morgoth.

 

En mayo, los tiroleses se unirán a THE SPIRIT en la gira de despedida de DARK FORTRESS para llevar a los escenarios de Europa "Pyrogenesis", que sin duda es lo más destacado de su producción musical hasta el momento.

El albúm abre de manera fantasmagórica, atmosférica y oscura, con un acorde crudo y directo junto a una batería contundente, tempos y ritmos lentos, en Nine Moons con un inicio atmosférico, brutal e intenso con un black metal de lleno! Esas guitarras y batería con todo, con un poco de black metal melódico y esa voz al estilo death metal, en The Mizaru Doctrine ese doble bombo y con mayor ritmo y estilo melódico con ese black metal, guitarras y batería con buen ritmo y compás, en Matricide volvemos con un poco de un ritmo lento en la línea de guitarra y batería, después con un cambio en el tempo un poco más fuerte donde la batería tiene mayor protagonismo y esos compases en los acordes de guitarras melancólicos, en Pyrogenesis tenemos un ritmo y sonido más fuerte, compases más estructurados y duros, y así hasta Ghost Of Aphelion con un cierre atmosférico muy fúnebre y oscuro excelente! En el inicio de la canción, después un contundente acorde y batería con una fuerte voz en envuelta en ese ritmo potente, oscuro y bestial! Con cambios en tempos de un buen black metal duro y pesado, Asphagor hace un buen regreso con "Pyrogenesis", en todo el albúm la banda da un sofisticado black y death metal, con unas buenas partes melódicas bien hechas con una pesadez y densidad atmosférica que cautiva en todo el tiempo de ejecución!
