A Dutch melodic metal band, La Ventura released their second álbum 'White Crow' two years ago, if you like melodic metal with great female vocals the band La Ventura with the lovely voice of Carla van Huizen is an option! They worked on this new material and are now ready to show some of this new material with this little EP álbum.

Carry on

 

A strong and energetic, melodic entrance with a heavy and electronic intro, surprising riffs heavy guitar give more body to the track and battery line, it's a great song, there are electronics elements with moderation and the voice of Carla molded right style of the song.

 

As I Lay Dying

 

A much more melodic and rhythmic song, with lyrics full of emotions as we can see in the video itself, please me those heavy guitar riffs! They give strength! There is emotion in this song!

 

Brave man

 

A full entry of heavy guitars! a slow introduction, the battery in tune with the guitars, the full impact of the guitars and drums from the beginning and to the end, and more melodic song musically body and 'As I Lay Dying'

 

The Great Escape

 

Spectacular end, a more forceful and heavy entrance, an increased presence of guitars with a battery present, I like the rhythm of the song, a song very rocker and very heavy! Excellent finish.

 

My recomendation

 

The 4 songs are well done, the entrance to the EP with the song Carry on is the one with electronic touches and the rest with a force and firmer on guitars and drums punch, I would have liked an acoustic version for this EP.

 

This new EP of The Ventura is well worked, and I imagine in new álbum! With this test we say the sound you are working the band La Ventura, certainly if you love this style you must have!

 

+ The Good

 

The EP is a good álbum, has some interesting sounds and combinations, has good production and the voice and the theme of the álbum is remarkable, especially in the video for the song 'As I Lay Dying'

 

-The Bad

 

No problem, I'm waiting for the next álbum!

 

Originality and Creativity

 

Great, Original with strong and melodic sounds as La Ventura as it has done in 'White Crow', no problem, creative and genuine, in the Cover Art is simple and striking the V for victory with members of background! With the current version 2.0

Forcefulness, compas and ability of guitars and drums, heavy riffs definitely

 

Vocal

 

The voice of Carla is soft, melodic and clean every song the voice of Carla is not lost, it is tinged with the songs and the times when his voice comes in, you can listen without problems, with musical scope required in the song, in my opinion the tessitura of her voice is clear with an intense have moderate vocal range.

Banda de metal melódico holandesa La Ventura lanzó su segundo álbum ‘White Crow’ hace 2 años, si te gusta el metal melódico con grandes voces femeninas la banda La Ventura con la encantadora voz de Carla van Huizen es una opción!  Ellos trabajaron en este nuevo material y ahora están listos para mostrarnos algo de este nuevo material con este pequeño álbum EP.

Una entrada fuerte y llena de energía, melódica con un intro pesado y electrónico sorprende, los riffs de guitarra pesados le dan más cuerpo a la canción y la batería de fondo, es una canción fantástica, hay elementos electrónicos con moderación y la voz de Carla se moldea justo al estilo de la canción.

 

As I lay dying

 

Una canción mucho más melódica y rítmica, con una lírica llena de emociones como lo podemos ver en el video mismo, me agradan esos riffs pesados de guitarra! Le dan fuerza! Hay emoción en esta canción!

 

Brave man

 

Una entrada llena de guitarras pesadas! una introducción lenta y pesada, la batería en sintonía con las guitarras, todo el impacto de las guitarras y la batería desde el principio así como hasta el final, una canción melódica y de mayor cuerpo musicalmente, así como ‘As I lay dying’

 

The Great Escape

 

Espectacular final, otra entrada más contundente y pesada, una presencia mayor de guitarras con una batería muy presente, me agrada el ritmo de la canción, una canción Rockera y muy heavy! Excelente final.

 

Mi recomendación

 

Las 4 canciones están bien hechas, la entrada del EP con la canción Carry on es la única con toques electrónicos y el resto con una fuerza y contundencia más firme en las guitarras y batería, me hubiera gustado una versión Acústica para este EP.

 

Este nuevo EP de La Ventura está muy bien trabajado, ya me imagino en nuevo álbum! Con esta prueba nos dicen en el sonido que están trabajando la banda La Ventura, sin duda si eres amante de este estilo lo debes de tener!

 

+ Lo bueno

Es un buen álbum EP, tiene unos sonidos y combinaciones interesantes, tiene buena producción y la voz y la temática del disco es llamativo, sobre todo en el video de la canción ‘As I lay dying’

Ningún problema, estoy esperando el siguiente Álbum!  

 

Originalidad y Creatividad

 

Genial, Original con sonidos fuertes y melódicos como La Ventura lo viene haciendo como en ‘White Crow’, no hay problema, creativo y genuino, en el Cover Art es sencillo y llamativo la V de la victoria con los integrantes de fondo! Con la versión actual 2.0

Contundencia, compas y habilidad de las guitarras y batería, riffs pesados sin duda

 

Vocal

 

La voz de Carla es suave, melódica y limpia, en todas las canciones la voz de Carla no se pierde, se matiza con las canciones y en los tiempos en que su voz entra en escena, se puede escuchar sin problemas, con los alcances musicales requeridos en la canción, en mi opinión la tesitura de su voz es clara con un rango vocal moderado he intenso.
