DEMETRA’S SCARS is an Alternative Metal band formed in June 2015. After several concerts in small clubs, they released their first single "Your Only Escape" in 2017, and one year later they supported Jinjer and Infected Rain in their Italian tour. On July 24, 2021 his debut EP "Demetra's Scars" was released through Sheratan Records.

They start with chords and rhythm in a single line, constant those bars between drums and guitars, Pahann's voice with a lot of energy, a very punk style!

Combining the rhythms a little between guitars and drums, a bit similar to the opening song in a single line, but then they change in bars a little more melodic and harmonic, in a scale and bass sounds.

Going Through

We start with heavier chords, slow rhythm and can hear Pahann's voice clearer and sharper, varying a bit into harsher and denser chords.

My Pleasure

And closing in a very sublime way, with a slow beat, long, dense and rough musical scales, this song has a good dark and depressing atmosphere, it also has a single line that repeats itself in the middle of the song, but with the same force and heaviness in a cool way!

My Recomendation

The DEMETRA'S SCARS EP album has strength and heaviness, we find guitars tuned in low tones and with an extended range, in all songs we can hear it and in combination of some beat changes, we don’t have guitar solos, we have a certain degree of distortion in those guitar chords, here the bass sounds great and has its own prominence as in the last song, on the drums we have a bit of varied scales from slow to a little fast, but with a dense and heavy style, they remind me of a Little Korn at times, as good Alternative Metal we can hear and feel sounds not so harmonic, not so melodic, but depressive and heartbreaking! A good EP album that the band leaves us! Influenced by Korn, Jinjer, Infected Rain, Deftones and Lacuna Coil! If you are a lover of these styles, here is DEMETRA’S SCARS!

The Voice

Pahann's voice is clean, with a clear, low, soft and aggressive register, making its way to the scales and low tones of the musical part.

DEMETRA’S SCARS es una banda de metal alternativo formada en junio de 2015. Después de varios conciertos en pequeños clubes, lanzaron su primer sencillo "Your Only Escape" en 2017, y un año después apoyaron a Jinjer e Infected Rain en su gira por Italia. El 24 de julio de 2021 fue lanzado su EP debut "Demetra's Scars" a través de Sheratan Records.

Arrancan con acordes y ritmo en una sola línea, constante esos compases entre la batería y las guitarras, la voz de Pahann con mucha energía, un estilo muy punk!

Combinando un poco los ritmos entre guitarras y batería, un poco semejante a la canción de inicio en una sola línea, pero después cambian en compases un poco más melódicos y armónicos, en una escala y sonidos graves.

Going Through

Iniciamos con acordes más pesados, ritmo lento y podemos escuchar de forma más clara y nítida la voz de Pahann, variando un poco en acordes más ásperos y densos.

My Pleasure

Y cerrando de una forma muy sublime, con compas lento, escalas musicales largas, densas y ásperas, esta canción tiene una buena atmosfera oscura y depresiva, también tiene una sola línea que se repite a mitad de la canción, pero con la misma fuerza y pesadez de forma genial!

Mi Recomendación

El álbum EP de DEMETRA’S SCARS tiene fuerza y pesadez, nos encontramos con guitarras afinadas en tonos graves y de rango extendido, en todas las canciones lo podemos escuchar y en combinación de algunos cambios de compas, no tenemos solos de guitarras, tenemos cierto grado de distorsión en esos acordes de guitarras, aquí el bajo suena genial y tiene su propio protagonismo como en la última canción, en la batería tenemos un poco de escalas variadas desde lentas a un poco rápidas, pero con un estilo denso y pesado, me recuerdan un poco de Korn por momentos, como buen Metal Alternativo podemos escuchar y sentir sonidos no tan armónicos, no tan melódicos, pero si depresivos y desgarradores! Un buen álbum EP que la banda nos deja! Con influencias de Korn, Jinjer, Infected Rain, Deftones y Lacuna Coil! Si eres amante de estos estilos aquí esta DEMETRA’S SCARS!
