Who is Lidia! She is from Spain, he studied classical ballet and modern dance Terpsichore in school, in coordination with the Imperial Society of London dance. In 2008 he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications from the University of Málaga. In the fall of 2009 he moved to Barcelona, where after a short time, he began his vocal studies under the tutelage of soprano Rosa Maria Ribas. His musical interests took her to meet the composer and conductor David Magrané. Together they began Suddenlash project, which has been given the opportunity to sing on several acoustic performances. In 2010 he recorded the song for the end titles belonging to the soundtrack of the film of Arkadia.

 

Since then, his artistic career as a singer Suddenlash continues its evolution, along with his work as a computer programmer, wow! Beautiful, talented vocally! Intellectually!

Hello Darkzen, it's my pleasure to participate with this interview

 

How have you been?

 

I'm very excited about the release of the live album of suddenlash.

 

What have you done all this time?

 

We have already completed the band. Soon we will reveal what is it at social networks.

We are working so hard to give them an extraordinary concert. before long.

 

What surprises do you have with your band?

 

Suddenlash has been known at social networks by their first album "Soul's revenge", until now.

Our next goal is to give them an extraordinary live concert, we hope we can give them more information very soon.

 

How has been the acceptance of your album? Which was the concept?

 

After meeting to David Magrané, our composer and keyboardist, it was year 2010 and we started to create Suddenlash.

David is a great musician with a great sensitivity and deep knowledge about classical music. The result is in our album "Soul's revenge" with songs with a symphonic instrumentation.

This album has a meticulous composition and musical richness, the main idea is to awake emotions on the listener.

 

You have a beautiful voice, What is your vocal training?

 

Thank you very much Darkzen, I've always loved to sing but at the same time is something very intimate for me.

In the year 2009 i was delighted with the symphonic metal when i decided to educate my voice.

I started to take lessons of lyric singing, that was about 5 years ago.

 

What is your vocal range?

 

I have a tessitura of Mezzo Soprano, maybe dramatic soprano.

 

Are you working with any project?

 

Right now, all my artistic efforts are with Suddenlash. We hope to finish all the preparations for the live concert, very soon we'll be ready.

This concert is for all the symphonic metal lovers.

 

There will be a duet with someone?

 

No for now. but it would be a beautiful experience.

 

There will be a video clip for one of the songs of the album?

 

Of course! actually, we are working with the preparations to shoot a new video clip this November. The song we chose is "Shelter".

 

Who is Lidia Guglieri behind the scenery? Do you work of something else?

 

Behind of the singer of Suddenlash, it hides an engineer in telecommunications who also works as computer programmer.

For better o for worse, i've always loved math and programming, there are things that attracted me since i was younger.

Obviously, when i came into the symphonic metal and the singing, my life took an unexpected turn.

I dream with the day when i can change the logical sentences, loops and typical instructions for programming languages scenarios.

 

Which are your musical inspirations?

 

My biggest inspiration is the classical music and all its composers, like Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Wagner. I find very exciting the idea of mixing classical music with symphonic metal.

Other singers who have inspired me are Anne Sofie Von Otter and Lea Salonga.

 

There will be a second album for Suddenlash?

 

Of course! I have the luck of working with David Magrané, who is an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

We have already done the composition of the second album, only the half. But first, we want to release the live album of Soul's Revenge.

 

There is something else you want to share with us?

 

There isn't nothing more wonderful than chase your dreams, always firmly believing in what you do.

Suddenlash is for me a big treasure in which i have all my hopes and i hope we can give them an amazing experience with our live music.

I encourage everybody to hear our music, to make their dreams come true and to live deeply!.

Quien es Lidia! Ella es de España, Estudió ballet clásico y danza moderna en la escuela Terpsícore, en coordinación con la Sociedad Imperial de Londres de baile. En 2008 obtuvo su Licenciatura en Ingeniería Técnica en Telecomunicaciones de la Universidad de Málaga. En el otoño de 2009 se trasladó a Barcelona, donde después de un poco tiempo, comenzó sus estudios de canto bajo la tutela de la soprano Rosa María Ribas. Sus intereses musicales la llevaron a conocer al compositor y director de orquesta David Magrané. Juntos comenzaron entonces el proyecto Suddenlash, que le ha dado la oportunidad de cantar en varias actuaciones acústicas. En 2010 grabó la canción de los títulos finales perteneciente a la banda sonora de la película de Arkadia.

 

A partir de entonces, su actividad artística como cantante de Suddenlash sigue su evolución, junto con su trabajo como programador de computadoras, wow! Hermosa, talentosa vocalmente! he Intelectualmente!

Hola Darkzen, encantada de participar en esta entrevista!

 

Como has estado?

Ciertamente muy ilusionada con el inminente estreno del directo de Suddenlash.

 

Que has hecho todo este tiempo?

Ya tenemos la formación completa de Suddenlash, que pronto revelaremos por las redes sociales. Así que estamos trabajando duro con los chicos para poder ofrecer próximamente nuestro espectáculo.

 

Que sorpresas nos tienes acerca de tu banda Suddenlash?

Hasta ahora, Suddenlash se ha dado a conocer en las redes sociales por la composición de su primer álbum Soul´s Revenge. Nuestro próximo objetivo es ofrecer el espectáculo en vivo del que pronto esperamos informar.

 

Como ha sido la aceptación de tu disco? Cual fue el concepto o la idea para realizar este álbum?

Después de conocer a David Magrané, futuro compositor y teclista de Suddenlash, allá en el 2010, comenzamos a forjar el proyecto en el que ahora nos hayamos inmersos, Suddenlash y en especial su primer álbum, Soul´s Revenge. David es un gran músico con una gran sensibilidad y profundos conocimientos de la música clásica. Y de ahí el resultado de Soul´s Revenge, canciones con una muy presente instrumentación sinfónica, meticulosa composición y gran riqueza musical, todo siempre encaminado en cumplir nuestro último objetivo, despertar la emoción del oyente.

 

Sabes tienes una linda voz, me llama la atención la tesitura de tu voz, cual ha sido tu entrenamiento vocal?

Muchas gracias Darkzen! Siempre me ha encantado cantar pero a la vez siempre ha sido algo muy íntimo dentro de mí. Es por ello que no fue hasta el 2009, cautivada por la belleza del metal sinfónico, cuando me atreví a plantearme la posibilidad de educar mi voz. Es entonces el momento en el que comencé a recibir clases particulares de canto lírico, hace 5 años atrás.

 

Que rango de voz tienes?

Tengo una tesitura de mezzosoprano, quizás soprano dramática.

 

Hay algún proyecto en curso, en el cual tu estés trabajando?

Ahora mismo, todos mis esfuerzos artísticos se centran en Suddenlash. Estamos deseando terminar de preparar el directo para poder ofrecer pronto nuestro espectáculo a todos los amantes del metal sinfónico.

 

Algún dueto en especial con alguien?

No por ahora. Pero sería una preciosa experiencia.

 

Habrá algún video clip de alguna de las canciones de tu álbum?

Desde luego! De hecho, estamos llevando a cabo todos los preparativos para grabar nuestro primer vídeo clip en el próximo mes de Noviembre. La canción elegida ha sido "Shelter".

 

Lidia Guglieri, quien es detrás fuera del escenario? Trabajas en alguna otra cosa?

Detrás de la cantante de Suddenlash se esconde una ingeniera en Telecomunicaciones, que trabaja como programadora informática. Para bien o para mal, siempre se me han dado bien las matemáticas, y la programación es algo que me atrajo en mi vulcaniana adolescencia. Obviamente, después de adentrarme en el mundo artístico del canto y del metal sinfónico el sentido de mi vida dio un inesperado y maravilloso giro. Sueño con el día en el que poder cambiar las sentencias lógicas, loops e instrucciones típicas de los lenguajes de programación por los escenarios. Para mí, mil veces más mágico y emotivo.

 

Cuáles son tus inspiraciones musicales?

Mi gran inspiración musical se encuentra en la música clásica y en sus grandes compositores, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Wagner... Y encuentro muy emocionante la combinación de ésta junto a la fuerza de la música metal. Cantantes como Anne Sofie Von Otter en la escena clásica, y también Lea Salonga en el panorama del musical me son muy inspiradoras.

 

Habrá un segundo álbum de Suddenlash?

Por supuesto! Tengo la suerte de trabajar con David Magrané, quién es una fuente inagotable de inspiración. Tenemos ya preparada toda la composición de la mitad de nuestro próximo disco pero primero estamos ansiosos de dar a conocer el directo de nuestro primer álbum, Soul´s Revenge.

 

Algo más que nos quisieras compartir?

No hay nada más maravilloso que perseguir tus sueños siempre creyendo firmemente en lo que haces. Suddenlash es para mí un gran tesoro en donde tengo puestas todas mis esperanzas y con el que espero muy pronto ofrecer nuestra música en directo y por mucho tiempo más. Los animo a todos a escuchar nuestra música, a cumplir sus sueños y a vivir la vida en profundidad!
