Metalwings is a Bulgarian symphonic/gothic metal band with Celtic influence, formed by the vocalist and viola player Stela Atanasova in 2010.

Metalwings is an unqiue combination of powerful guitars, angelic vocals and the gentle sound of viola.

The hymn-melodic and epically uplifting CLASSIC SYMPHONIC METAL of the Sofia based formation combines the finest elements of classical music and the timeless world of Opera.

On November 1st, 2018 METALWINGS presented to the world, to all fans and friends, their 3rd Official Music Video, this time for the song “For All Beyond” – the self-titled song from the worldwide successful debut album “For All Beyond”.

In the beginning of March 2019 METALWINGS joined European tour of Imperial Age for some shows in Austria and Romania. METALWINGS played as a special guest at Bucovina concert in Brasov.

End Of The War

That introduction! atmospheric and environmental has the album! Shocking and mysterious without a doubt, beautiful choir that accompanies it, beautiful introduction by Stela's voice next to a majestic overture of guitars and a strong drums.

Secret Town

A bit of Metal Power / Symphonic more quickly and fluently, opening Stela's voice space together with smooth and melodic Chorus, has a good pause between the musical part and the voice!

Immortal Metal Wings

Excellent entry more forceful with a battery that marks the pace and speed, together with the combination of the other instruments and the beautiful melodic voice of Stela! A quick song I've inspired! Blunt guitars a bit at the end of the track which gives more rudeness to the song.

When We Pray

Interesting change in the intensity of the previous tracks, the ballad of the album! I like these tracks in some albums show us the ability and magnitude of the singer's voice with a beautiful acoustic rhythm with a touching and soft sound, like Stela's beautiful voice.

A Wish

We return with a style before the ballad, heavier and more aggressive the part of the beginning of the track later gives us a rhythm with a medium and melodic tempo, stronger guitars with greater speed and vertiginous changes and well mixed together with the voice of Stela who emphasizes more.

There’s No Time

Interesting opening with heavier guitars but with soft sounds and especially marked by the accompanying symphonic part, Stela's voice is emphasized at some times with a beautiful falsette that is melodic, rhythmic and without lose strength, along with that extraordinary Viola!

For All Beyond

What a beautiful entrance completely fueled by emotion and changes linked to those dramatic and explosive emotions that make us launch what one wants to show with melodic rhythms and crescents fully embodied.

Realm Of Dreams

An excellent entry with a more power metal style, faster and more energetic! Combining voices with a link between them with a tempo each well done! The male voice is from Max Morton, vocalist and guitarist with a talented session! A classic song with a power metal that many love.

Tujni Serza

An entry of seductive keyboards, another provocative ballad in the original language of the band and that makes it even more representative, the voice in this completely acoustic Stela is a beautiful melodic and symphonic representation very attractive to the ear with a more intimate character without a doubt!

For All Beyond (orchestral version)

Excelent version! With this version the emotion is even stronger and more pronounced, and of course executed by the Sofia Session Orchestra.

Fallen Angel In The Hell and the Instrumental version

Closing with a strong and more forceful song, instrumental, epic, combining a melodic rhythm in beautiful harmony with Stela's voice and in the instrumental version the arrangement is great and emotional.

My Recomendation

It is a very well balanced album, with a good production and mixed, the balance I hear is quite impressive, I mean Stela's beautiful voice and the musical combination she has, she has an excellent tempo between each note and input of the instruments, It is atmospheric yes, it is continuous, it is different in musical style between tracks but it keeps that instrumental softness very well managed, in fact Stela's voice stands out quite a lot. A Symphonic / Goth Metal with a lot of mastery well done, the instrumental parts give it that dramatic and operatic part, suddenly we are impressed with a perfect classic power metal that gives a touch to the album of rudeness!

For symphonic metal fans with beautiful melodic voices this band is a spearhead, for moments is compared with Epica or Within Temptation for the musical mastery.

The Voice

Stela's voice is melodically beautiful, soft, wide range and tessitura, white and clean, I hear that it can handle high notes without breaking the harmony managed, it has perfect balance, which does not fall into a sharp distorted and without rhythm, which is sometimes committed in other bands, the harmony and tessellation of Stela's voice is the strong point of the band, I congratulate Stela!

Metalwings es una banda búlgara de metal sinfónico / gótico con influencia celta, formada por la vocalista y viola Stela Atanasova en 2010.

Metalwings es una combinación única de guitarras potentes, voces angelicales y el suave sonido de la viola.

El METAL SINFÓNICO CLÁSICO himno-melódico y épicamente edificante de la formación basada en Sofía combina los mejores elementos de la música clásica y el mundo atemporal de la Ópera.

El 1 de noviembre de 2018, METALWINGS presentó al mundo, a todos los fanáticos y amigos, su tercer vídeo musical oficial, esta vez para la canción "For All Beyond", la canción homónima del exitoso álbum debut mundial "For All Beyond" .

A principios de marzo de 2019, METALWINGS se unió a la gira europea de Imperial Age para algunos espectáculos en Austria y Rumania. METALWINGS tocó como invitado especial en el concierto de Bucovina en Brasov.

End Of The War

Que atmosférica y ambiental entrada tiene el álbum! Estremecedor y misterioso sin duda, bello coro que le acompaña, bella introducción por parte de la voz de Stela junto a una majestuosa obertura de guitarras y una fuerte batería.

Secret Town

Un poco de Metal Power/Symphonic con mayor rapidez y fluidez, abriendo espacio de la voz de Stela en conjunto de Coro suaves y melódicas, tiene buena pausa entre la parte musical y de la voz!

Immortal Metal Wings

Excelente entrada más contundente con una batería que marca el paso y la velocidad, en conjunto a la combinación de los demás instrumentos y la bella voz melódica de Stela! Una canción rápida he inspiradora! Contundencia de guitarras un poco al final de la pista el cual le da más rudeza a la canción.

When We Pray

Interesante cambio en la intensidad de las pistas anteriores, la balada del álbum hasta ahora! Me gustan estas pistas en algunos álbum nos demuestran la habilidad y magnitud de la voz de la cantante con un bello ritmo acústico con un sonido conmovedor y suave, como la bella voz de Stela.

A Wish

Volvemos con un estilo anterior a la balada, más pesada y agresiva la parte del inicio de la pista posteriormente nos da un ritmo con un tempo medio y melódico, guitarras más fuertes con mayor velocidad y cambios vertiginosos y bien mezclados en conjunto con la voz de Stela que se enfatiza más.

There’s No Time

Interesante apertura con guitarras más pesadas pero con sonidos suaves y sobre todo marcados por la parte sinfónica que la acompaña, la voz de Stela se enfatiza bastante en algunos momentos con un bello falsette que no llega a un agudo ordinario si no melódico, rítmico y sin perder fuerza, junto a esa Viola extraordinaria!

For All Beyond

Que bella entrada completamente alimentada por la emoción y cambios vinculados a esas emociones dramáticas y explosivas que nos hacen lanzar lo que uno quiere mostrar con ritmos y crescendos melódicos totalmente plasmados. (Una canción totalmente emocional muy distinta a una atmosférica o balada)

Realm Of Dreams

Una excelente entrada con un estilo más power metal, más rápida y enérgica! Combinando voces con un enlace entre ambas con un tempo cada una bien hecho! La voz masculina es de Max Morton, vocalista y guitarrista de sesión talentoso! Una canción clásica con un power metal que muchos les encantan.

Tujni Serza

Una entrada de teclados seductores, otra balada provocativa en el idioma original de la banda y eso la hace aún más representativa, la voz en este acústico completamente de Stela es una bella representación melódica y sinfónica muy atractiva al oído con un carácter más íntimo sin duda!

For All Beyond (orchestral version)

Excelente versión! Con esta versión la emoción es aún más fuerte y acentuada, y claro ejecutada por la Sofia Session Orchestra.

Fallen Angel In The Hell y la versión Instrumental

Cerrando con una canción fuerte y más contundente, instrumental, épica, combinando un ritmo melódico en bella armonía con la voz de Stela y en la versión instrumental el arreglo es genial y emotivo.

Mi Recomendación

Es un álbum muy bien equilibrado, con una buena producción y mezclado, el equilibrio que escucho es bastante impresionante, me refiero a la bella voz de Stela y la combinación musical que tiene, tiene un excelente tempo entre cada nota y entrada de los instrumentos, es atmosférico sí, es continuo, es diferente en estilo musical entre pistas pero guarda esa suavidad instrumental muy bien manejada, de hecho la voz de Stela destaca bastante. Un Metal Sinfónico/Goth con mucha maestría bien hecha, las partes instrumentales le dan esa parte dramática y operística, de repente nos impresionan con un power metal clásico perfecto que le da un toque al álbum de rudeza!

Para los fanáticos del Metal Sinfónico con bellas voces melódicas esta banda es una punta de lanza, por momentos se compara con Épica o Within Temptation por la maestría musical.
