Greetings! friends, this week I am pleased to let this new interview with another muse in México! vocalist of a group with history and tradition Nostra Morte!

 

So, let go with the interview!

 

¡Hello Nitza! ¿How have you been?

 

Hello Darkzen, i've been fine thank you.

 

¿What is your real name? Tell us alittle about your origins at this genre

 

My musical taste began when i was a little girl, maybe i was 12 years old. I was looking for opera albums but i didn't know where i could find them.

 

one day i listened to Nightwish and for me they are Opera, thereafter i listened to other bands.

I was fascinated with this genre and used to dream of becoming a member of a band of this genre.

About my real name, i prefer people to call me Niza.

 

¿How was your vocal training? What is your vocal range?

 

It's hard to explain, because i was born with natural talent.

 

The first time i sang in front an audience (including my family) i was 15 years old. I wanted to sing opera and decided to sing ''Der Holle Rache'' - ''the magic Flute''.

 

Gerardo Duran listened to me (my first singing teacher) and he asked me if i had a good teacher, he wanted to know who was my teacher but i didn't have one.

 

I didn't know you need to study to sing.

 

When i was a little girl sing was my secret, if someone had listened to me it would have invaded my space.

 

My way of singing keeps being very personal but nowadays i share it with more people.

About my range it's hard to explain, i'm still finding new things and new features about my voice.

 

¿What were your main influences in the metal?

 

My biggest influences were Montserrat Caballe, Sara Brightman and Beyonce.

 

I know this will surprise you but i admire Beyonce! I think she is a disciplined person, i love her work and has an enormous talent.

 

About metal music i admire many people like: Floor Jensen, Tilo Wolff, Steven Tyler and Annloiuce Loegdlund.

 

¿How did you become member of the band?. Nostra Morte.

 

I was singing with a band called ''Tepic'' with my teacher and some members of Nostra Morte listened to me.

 

After this i spoke with Alferis on internet, but we didn't get a conclusion. Later, Pier got in touch with me and i went to the audition.

 

At last, they accepted me in their project.

 

¿Tell us what is the concept of the band?

 

I think our genre is symphonic but we like to experiment with different genres. In the song ''Cuando la muerte se viste de gloria'' we tried a little bit with mariachi.

''El precio del deseo'' is the first song that we released of our next album, it has an oriental style.

Anyway, our songs are most symphonic.

 

¿Do you have other profession or job?

Yes i have.

 

¿Do you write songs?

 

Yes, i do write songs but not for Nostra Morte. I only write songs for my personal project.

This project is crossover genre and don't have a particular inspiration, i only write of what i'm feeling.

 

¿What surprises are for the 2015?

 

It comes out the next album ''Memorias de un guerrero'' and more surprises.

 

¿There will be a new video clip? Tell us a little of the ''somos sangre'' vídeo clip.

 

We hope to make a new video clip soon. About ''somos sangre'', is a song of the band Hemifonia and we have a good relation with them.

 

They invited us to participate and sent us the material. it was great.

 

¿What do you think about the metal scene in Mexico? especially the bands with a frontwoman.

 

México is a very talented country, the scene keeps growing and that's awesome! There are many girls with attitude of overcome themselves.

 

I think we need more broadcasting and support of the media. only in that way the scene will be more known.

 

¿How was your concert in Puebla?

 

I really enjoyed! the owner of the 803 salon was very kind and the people was very excited, even though we arrived late.

 

I'd like to share this experience with your readers:

 

we arrived late and tired by the journey, later we started the soundcheck, went out to eat and got dressed.

 

We had an small accident with the car and almost play without Pier Lemort (main guitar and band leader).

 

Our fans are the most important for us and Pier made an effort to arrive, at the end it was worth it.

We hope this year have many concerts.

La Entrevista

Saludos! amigos, esta semana me complace en dejarles esta nueva entrevista con otra musa en México! vocalista de un grupo con historia y tradición Nostra Morte!

 

Asi que, vamos a la entrevista!

 

Hola Nitza! Mucho gusto por esta oportunidad!

 

¿Cómo has estado?

 

Hola Darkzen, muy bien gracias, el gusto es mío

 

¿Cuál es tu verdadero nombre? Y cuéntanos sobre tu origen dentro de este estilo musical!

 

Mi gusto por ésta música comenzó cuando aún era pequeña, si no recuerdo mal, quizá tenía unos 12 años.

 

----Yo buscaba discos de ópera, pero no sabía donde conseguirlos, un día escuché a Nightwish, fue lo más cercano que pude conseguir a la ópera en su momento, posteriormente conocí otras bandas.

 

Quedé fascinada con éste estilo musical, tanto que desde esa edad soñaba con pertenecer a una agrupación de éste género.

 

Respecto a mi verdadero nombre, me gustaría si no es ninguna molestia por el momento dejarlo así, ya que prefiero me llamen Nitza, por ser el seudónimo que elegí J

 

¿Cómo fue el entrenamiento de tu voz? Que rango vocal tienes?

 

---Me es un tanto complicado de explicar ya que yo nací con el talento natural.

La primera vez que canté frente a un público y me escucharon (incluyendo a mi familia) fue a mis 15 años.

Yo quería cantar ópera y me dispuse a hacerlo con “Der Hölle Rache” - “La Flauta Mágica”.

Me escucho el tenor Gerardo Durán (mi 1er mtro de canto) se acercó diciendo que debía tener muy buen maestro de canto, preguntando quién me instruía en la voz, eso me desconcertó ya que yo desconocía que se tenía que estudiar para cantar.

 

De pequeña para mi, cantar era mi secreto, sentía que si alguien me escuchaba invadía mi espacio personal, mi forma de cantar sigue siendo algo muy íntimo, solo que ahora lo comparto

 

Referente a mi rango vocal, también es un tanto difícil de explicar, pues aun sigo descubriendo cosas y características nuevas en mi voz.

 

¿Cuáles fueron tus principales influencias dentro y fuera del Estilo del Metal?

 

---Principalmente la maestra Montserrat Caballé, Sarah Brightman, Beyonce, (tal vez esto desconcierte a algunos) creo que su trabajo es excelente, que es una persona disciplinada y posee un gran talento dentro de su estilo y género musical.

Dentro del metal admiro a varias personas como: Floor Jansen, Tilo Wolff, Steven Tyler, Annloiuce Loegdlund (ex D.S.O) por mencionar algunos.

 

¿Cómo llegaste a formar parte de la Banda NostraMorte?

 

Anteriormente había cantado en Tepic con mi maestro y algunos integrantes de Nostra Morte me escucharon, después de eso vía internet hablé con Álferis, en ese momento quedó inconcluso ya que yo tenía algunos pendientes, posteriormente Pier se comunicó conmigo, realicé una audición y así fue como me aceptaron en el proyecto.

 

¿Dinos el concepto musical de la banda es? Goth, Dark, Ambiente, Sinfónico, etc…

 

En mi opinión personal, creo que el género musical de NM es sinfónico, aunque nos gusta experimentar con distintos estilos musicales, como por ejemplo en la canción “Cuando la muerte se viste de gloria”, es un tanto al estilo mariachi, “El precio del deseo”, que es la primer canción que damos a conocer de nuestro próximo álbum, es un estilo más oriental. Aunque no deja de ser sinfónico.

 

¿Te dedicas a otra cosa aparte de estar con la banda?

 

Así es

 

¿Escribes algunas canciones? Y si es así cuál es la fuente de inspiración

 

Si, escribo canciones, pero no para Nostra Morte, lo hago para mi proyecto personal, dentro del género de crossover, no tengo una única fuente de inspiración, escribo de lo que en el momento me nace.

 

¿Que sorpresas nos tiene NostraMorte este 2015?

 

Viene nuestro próximo disco, que se titulará “Memorias de un Guerrero” y lo demás si se concreta, precisamente serán sorpresas :)

 

¿Habrá otro video clip? Cuéntanos del video ‘’Somos Sangre’’ la idea nació de?

 

Esperamos que si, ya estamos dialogando sobre eso.

Referente al vídeo “Somos Sangre” es una canción de la banda Hemifonía, con quienes llevamos una muy buena amistad, ellos nos invitaron a participar, nos enviaron el material y nació el vídeo.

 

¿Próximo trabajo en estudio? El álbum!

 

El próximo trabajo en estudio efectivamente es nuestro nuevo material, álbum que llevará por título “memorias de un guerrero”

 

 

¿Qué opinas de la escena metalera en México con frontwoman, hace falta más o hace falta calidad? Vocal o musical? Que piensas?

 

México es un país con mucho talento, la escena sigue creciendo y eso es muy bueno, hay bastantes chicas con ganas de salir adelante, en mi opinión creo que hace falta más difusión y apoyo de los medios, para que la escena llegue a más personas.

 

¿Qué tal estuvo su concierto en Puebla? Habrá otro en la Ciudad de México?

 

Yo lo disfruté mucho, el dueño del 803 fue bastante amable y accesible con nosotros, la gente respondió muy bien a pesar del retraso que tuvimos.

Es algo muy personal, pero me gustaría compartirlo.

 

Ese día fue maratónico, llegamos un poco retrasados y cansados del viaje por la noche, aun así con algo de tiempo para realizar el sounchek, comer algo y arreglarnos para el evento. Luego de comer, tuvimos un percance con un automóvil, aparte del estrés, por poco nos toca realizar el concierto sin PierLemort (guitarra principal y líder de la banda), como los fans siempre son tan importantes para nosotros, Pier hizo todo lo posible por estar presente y claro que todo el esfuerzo valió la pena al ver la reacción de los fans, amablemente nos esperaron y nos recibieron muy bien.

Y Si, esperamos que éste año surja algún evento en D.F.

 

¿Algo más que nos quisieras compartir mi amiga?
