"Crown In Frost" will be the name of the new release of the Italians FROZEN CROWN, a year after their debut "The Fallen King". The album will be released on March 22 through Scarlet Records.

My Recomendation

A second album with enough musical strength, rhythmic, without losing power, mixed and varied, with an excellent Speed Power Metal, quality! And with a variation in well-orchestrated voices, combining the change of rhythm with enough mastery, solid album! I have to mention that the Speed Power of Italy has an amazing school, among many bands like Ancient Bards, Temperance just to mention some with female vocal, a very well shown album, varied in sounds and emotions!

The Voice

The voice of Giada excellent without problem, is attached to the changes of rhythm and high notes throughout the album, without getting lost between the changes of rhythm, and attaining a very good record in high and high notes! Always present the voice of Giada and with great power! “Crown In Frost” será el nombre del nuevo lanzamiento de los italianos FROZEN CROWN, un año después de su debut “The Fallen King”. El álbum será publicado el 22 de Marzo a través de Scarlet Records.

Que dice la banda:

“Esta vez, la mente maestra y compositor Federico Mondelli amplificó los componentes heavy y power metal de la banda, haciendo de “Crown in Frost” un álbum agresivo y monolítico desde el comienzo, manteniendo al oyente enganchado con su rico sonido y amplia variedad de canciones, incluyendo interludios instrumentales y sobresalientes voces femeninas, a cargo de la talentosa Giada “Jade” Etro. Como en el primer álbum, Federico escribió la música y grabó todas las guitarras y teclados (siendo un artista completo, incluso ha diseñado también la hermosa portada), mientras que las baterías fueron arregladas por Alberto Mezzanotte. Gran entrada de un riff potente para ambientar! La tormenta musical que nos avecina. 

 

Neverending

 

Una gran fuerza al comenzar con un doble bombo muy bien marcado, rápidos y acompañados de la voz poderosa de Giada con un estribillo genial de esta canción como tormenta musical que nos deja claro la potencia desde la entrada anterior!

 

In the Dark

 

Tiene una base rítmica y melódica muy bien ejecutada, la potente voz de Giada fuerte y rápida como la anterior, líneas fuertes, guitarras potentes y un bajo bastante audible y con presencia, buena percusión! Un poco distinto al speed / power metal en los ritmos con el bombo

 

Battles in the Night

 

Una entrada melódica y contundente, excelente entrada con esas guitarras! la voz en esta canción es crucial! la voz de Giada Etro y en coro con potencia, la hace expulsar a su máxima expresión, junto al estribillo pegadizo de esta canción! Buen final de la canción!

 

 

Winterfall

 

Wow! Muy diferente a las anteriores con guturales presentes y fuertes! Excelentes cambios en ritmo en tiempo y melódicos bien manejados, un buen ejecutado solo de teclado, algo extendida la canción pero con una presencia musical excepcional.

 

Unspoken

 

La base fuerte y mostrando buen manejo de instrumentos además, la voz melódica, con fuerza y muy melódica, se conjuntan para darnos esta buena canción en conjunto! Interesantes registros y rangos vocales mostrados hasta el momento! La voz de Giada excelente!

 

Lost in Time

 

Una entrada musical bien mostrada con toda la calidad vocal! con toda la maquinaria ejecutada de los instrumentos, algo regular en velocidad, melódica y rítmica.

 

 

The Wolf and the Maiden

 

Una canción interesante, llevada hasta cierto punto por los teclados, atmosférica también y con un ritmo y velocidad considerables, Con un aullido de un gran lobo que se pude percibir en momentos de la canción, en la entrada justamente.

 

Forever

 

Una canción del cual no podría fallar! Al puro estilo speed power metal! Frenética, rítmica, melódica y apabullante, con algunos estribillos bien ejecutados, falsetes de voz característicos y como tal la esencia del power en la voz.

 

Enthroned

 

Una parte complementaria al iniciar este buen álbum, con un cierre bastante bien potente que es la siguiente canción! Con una espléndida voz!

 

Crowned in Frost

 

Llegamos a la parte final con un cierre potente, fuerte, contundente, con combinaciones de voces, melódicas, guturales, bien mostradas y con toda la maquinaria musical bien ejecutada! Aunque en los cambios del solo de batería se pierde un poco, excelente final por esa razón tiene el nombre del título del álbum, dándole un sello distinto y su marca personal!

 

Mi Recomendación

 

Un segundo álbum con bastante fuerza musical, rítmico, sin perder potencia, mezclado y variado, con un Speed Power Metal excelente, de calidad! Y con una variación en voces bien orquestadas, combinando el cambio de ritmo con bastante maestría, solido el álbum! Tengo que mencionar que el Speed Power de Italia tiene una sorprendente escuela, entre muchas bandas como Ancient Bards, Temperance solo por mencionar algunos con vocal femenina, un álbum muy bien mostrado, variado en sonidos y emociones!

 

La Voz

 

La voz de Giada excelente sin problema, se apego a los cambios de ritmo y de notas altas en todo el álbum, sin perderse entre los cambios de ritmo, y alcanzando un registro muy bueno en notas agudas y altas! Siempre presente la voz de Giada y con mucha potencia! Rango y registro perfectos, matiz suave, sin duda una parte esencial del álbum y en combinación de guturales bien plasmados y uniendo fuerza a la poderosa voz de ella.

​

Siempre la voz dentro de este estilo es crucial, debe de llevar la batuta y la presencia de cada canción, acoplarse a los cambios de ritmo y de sonidos, notas fuertes y agudas sin perderse o perder potencia.
