FATE GEAR are all-female Japanese steampunk heavy metal band formed in 2015 by the guitarist "Captain" Mina. The music is considered as power metal with catchy melodies and features dramatic guitar and keyboard solos. They successfully made their first Europe tour in March, 2019.

Their song MEGABULLETS was featured in the Netflix Anime "Kengan Ashura". FATE GEAR have a good reputation for their powerful live performance.

We start with an excellent introduction with a Folk style and very melodic Choirs, accompanied by violin, forceful and rhythmic chords! Nana's voice is great!

Kalmia feat. NANA

Excellent smooth and melodic introduction in Nana's voice, discrete keyboards and chords with a lot of presence, starting with a more power metal rhythm with dynamics and melancholy.

Draw You Dagger feat. Maki Oyama

A musical entrance with a powerful bass chord that leads to a stronger sound with a heavier melody and rhythm! And those riffs with that melodic rhythm along with those keyboards is perfect harmony and handling of high musical notes which Maki does very well.

Dancing In The Moonlight feat. RAMI

A melodic and rhythmic entry, chords, keyboards and a very sublime voice of Rami! A brighter atmosphere a bit melancholic and magical.

Battle Against Justice feat. NANA*

Excellent musical entry, hard and chords like submachine guns! Excellent rhythm! Heavy and strong! Galloping rhythms and great Tempos, combining throaty and clean voices from Nana!

Prisoners feat. NANA

A strong entrance like the previous track, low and strong chords, gradually raising the rhythm and melody later, pleases those tempos between Nana's voice and the musical track, combining a heavier style of Fate Gear with a good rhythmic base in the half tempo part.

Father

Excellent instrumental melody, at a slow and sublime pace, Mina gives us great solos with intensity, on an orchestral background of Yuri's keyboards that accompany us until the end.

Shodan no toki feat. Maki Oyama

We return with speed, rhythmic and strong chords! With a more Power metal sound again featuring superb Maki's voice, that short guitar solo is sublime when they attack fast, melodic sounds afterwards.

Child Of Memories feat. NANA

And closing with a great strong sound and a low scale, with a strong Folk style as the beginning of the album! Mina's chords are essential here among all the members who each give us the excellent musical part.

My Recomendation

An album full of various musical styles on this occasion, Mina's chords are masterful and open a path at all times to all musical instruments at different tempos and that, too, the voices do a great musical job !! Erika's bass is excellent on several tracks, some harder and others with Folk style, as we hear in some musical tracks on the album, on drums with Haruka we have a bit of all styles, slow, galloping and intense along with those keyboards that harmonize Much each musical passage with a very Yuri touch, so we have a varied set of styles such as Folk, Power Metal, Thrash Metal as in Battle Against Justice, very good melodic and instrumental parts!

Fate Gear has released an album that encompasses a range of well-blended and mastered musical styles with rhythmic, melodic, smooth, heavy or galloping balance when needed, with heaviness and hardness of all of them phenomenally! Not only Power Metal beats strongly within the band with a lot of passion, so what are you waiting for! In joining a journey full of styles with an excellent crew! As is Fate Gear band!

The Voice

The voices of Nana and Maki are perfect in scale and range, with a soft and white tessitura, which adapt very well in each song giving a soft and melodic touch in each one.

FATE GEAR es una banda japonesa de heavy metal steampunk formada en 2015 por la guitarrista "Captain" Mina. La música se considera power metal con melodías pegadizas y presenta dramáticos solos de guitarra y teclado. Hicieron con éxito su primera gira por Europa en marzo de 2019.

Su canción MEGABULLETS apareció en el anime de Netflix "Kengan Ashura". FATE GEAR tiene una buena reputación por su potente actuación en directo.

Iniciamos con una excelente introducción con un estilo Folk y Coros muy melódicos, acompañados de violín, acordes contundentes y rítmicos! ¡La voz de Nana es genial!

Kalmia feat. NANA

Excelente introducción suave y melódica en voz de Nana, teclados y acordes discretos con mucha presencia, comenzando con un ritmo más power metal con dinámica y melancolía.

Draw You Dagger feat. Maki Oyama

Una entrada musical con un acorde de bajo poderoso que nos conduce a un sonido más recio con un melodía y ritmo más heavy! Y esos riffs con ese ritmo melódico junto a esos teclados es perfecta la armonía y en manejo de notas musicales altas el cual Maki lo hace muy bien.

Dancing In The Moonlight feat. RAMI

Una melódica y rítmica entrada, acordes, teclados y una voz muy sublime de Rami! Un ambiente más brillante un poco melancólico y mágico.

Battle Against Justice feat. NANA*

¡Excelente entrada musical, dura y acordes como metralletas! Excelente ritmo! ¡Pesado y fuerte! Ritmos galopantes y Tempos geniales, combinando voces guturales y limpias de Nana!

Prisoners feat. NANA

Una fuerte entrada como la pista anterior, acordes bajos y fuertes, elevando poco a poco el ritmo y melodía posteriormente, agradan esos tempos entre la voz de Nana y la pista musical, combinando un estilo más heavy de Fate Gear con buena base rítmica en la parte de medio tempo.

Father

Excelente melodía instrumental, a paso lento y sublime, Mina nos da unos geniales solos con intensidad, sobre un fondo orquestal de los teclados de Yuri que nos acompañan hasta el final.

Shodan no toki feat. Maki Oyama

Regresamos con velocidad, acordes rítmicos y fuertes! Con un sonido más Power metal de nueva cuenta con la voz de Maki estupenda, ese solo de guitarra breve es sublime cuando atacan sonidos veloces y melódicos posteriormente.

Child Of Memories feat. NANA

Y cerrando con un estupendo sonido fuerte y con escala grave, con un fuerte estilo Folk como el inicio del albúm! Los acordes de Mina son imprescindibles aquí entre todas las integrantes que nos entregan cada una la parte musical excelente.

Mi Recomendación

Un albúm lleno de varios estilos musicales en esta ocasión, los acordes de Mina son magistrales y abren un camino en todo momento a todos los instrumentos musicales a tempos distintos y eso también las voces hacen un gran trabajo musical!! El bajo de Erika es excelente en varias pistas unas más duras y otras con estilo Folk como escuchamos en algunas pistas musicales del albúm, en la batería con Haruka tenemos un poco de todos los estilos, lentos, galopantes e intensos junto a esos Teclados que armonizan mucho cada pasaje musical con un toque muy propio de Yuri, así que tenemos un conjunto variado de estilo como Folk, Power Metal, Thrash Metal como en Battle Against Justice, partes melódicas e instrumentales muy buenas!

Fate Gear ha lanzado un álbum que abarca una gama de estilos musicales bien mezclados y dominados con el equilibrio rítmico, melódico, suave, pesado o galopante cuando es necesario, con la pesadez y dureza de todas ellas de forma fenomenal! No solo el Power Metal late con fuerza dentro de la banda con mucha pasión, así que, que esperas! En unirte a un viaje lleno de estilos con una tripulación excelente! ¡Como lo es Fate Gear band!

La Voz

Las voces de Nana y Maki son perfectas en la escala y rango, con una tesitura suave y blancas, las cuales se adaptan muy bien en cada canción dando un toque suave y melódico en cada una.
