Greetings, my friends! Today I give you this super-interview, with another Mexican muse! of Symphonic Metal Group Elitania! which for months gave us a super album! and tells us about her and the band!

Good! So go with the interview!

¿Hello my friend is a pleasure hear about you, how have you been?

I’ve been fine, thanks. Happy about this interview!

¿How has been this year for you?

Musically speaking it has been great! This year we have achieved many goals, like finish ¨Templos de Cristal¨.

We made a contract with Red Rivet Records, a Japanese company which is going to share our new material to Europe and Japan.

Definitely, this year has been great!

¿What are your musical influences?

My main influence is classical singing, because my voice fit in perfect.

I like Black and Death Metal, also I admire Maria Callas, Nataly Dessay (both are sopranos) and Lori Lewis (Therion).

Tarja Turunen (former Nightwish) is the reason why i’m in this genre, Nightwish was very important.

When i heard her feminine voice mixed with the powerful sound of metal, I just was amazed and I felt like I had discovered a new world.

For me, that was a shocking moment.

¿What are your hobbies?

The music fills most of my time, when i'm walking, sleeping or working. Everything is music!

I also enjoy movies, photography, technology and visit new places.

¿What has been your musical and vocal training?

It has been variable, i've been a self-taught person and i've learned with several teachers. I'm still having teachers.

I've been in a coral company and my friend Cristobal (member of Elitania) has helped me along this time.

¿What can you say about your band, Elitania?

Elitania is mysticism, magic, pure feeling, its lyrics and its music. The combination of voices will transport you to other planet.

¿There is a new project with other band like a duet or a new tour?

There are many projects but we are still waiting to share them with you guys.

We are working in some surprises and soon we're going to release this new material.

Also we are waiting the green light for be able to visit the center of the republic, hope it happens soon.

¿How has been the metal scene at North of Mexico?

This scene does exist! But not as we hoped for.

It has its moments, sometimes you listen to much trash metal or to many death metal, but after all is metal!

I think popular music is what they listen more here.

Darkzen: WTF ??? It's a shame really, I hope you will give them the encouragement and a new style, the popular music of northern Mexico is not good

¿Would you like to listen a heavier or a darker genre?

Definitely I would like to listen Black Metal, I like the genre, its theme and its style so dark and dense.

¿Did you write some of the songs of the album?

No, I haven't written songs yet.

So far I have not ventured into the field of composition.

¿There will be a new video from your last album?

Yes it will, we hope reveal more soon.

¿What can we expect from Elitania this year 2015?

The new cd, a tour, a new member and more surprises!

¿There will be a new álbum, a new vídeo or tour?

Yes! We are working in new things, you guys will be fascinated.

¿There is something else you like to share us?

I want to thank you for your job, your effort make the scene more popular, give new chances to new talents and be able to make new projects.

In that way the scene keeps growing.

Hola mi amiga, muchas gracias por saber de ti y encantado de compartir con nosotros un poco de tu tiempo!

Saludos, mis amigos! Hoy te doy este súper entrevista, con otra musa mexicana! Symphonic Metal Grupo Elitania! que desde hace meses nos dio un súper álbum! y nos dice acerca de ella y la banda!

¿Cómo has estado?

Estoy muy bien gracias y muy contenta por esta entrevista amigo.

¿Cómo te ha ido mi amiga en este último año que paso?

Bastante bien. Musicalmente hablando Este año en Elitania hemos logrado muchas metas, como terminar Templos de Cristal, conseguir un contrato con Red Rivet Records una compañía japonesa que se encargará de distribuir el material por Europa y obviamente Japón. sin duda ha sido un año muy bueno.

¿Cuáles son tus influencias musicales dentro y fuera del Metal?

Mis influencias son principalmente el canto clásico por lo que mi voz me permite hacer, Aunque me gusta mucho el Black Metal y algo de Death. Admiro mucho a Maria Callas , Nataly Dessay (Sopranos ambas), Lori Lewis (Therion) y sin duda la culpable de que este aquí es Tarja Turunen (Ex Nightwish) ya que ellos fueron un parte aguas en este género.

Cuando yo escuche como sonaba una voz femenina entrenada combinada con el sonido duro del metal, para mi fue como un shock ¿me entiendes? es como si descubriese otro mundo jajaja

¿Cuáles son tus Hobbies dentro y fuera del escenario?

La música llena la mayoría de mi tiempo tengo música para caminar, para trabajar, para dormir ¡Todo es música! también me gusta mucho el cine, la fotografía, la tecnología, conocer lugares nuevos.

¿Cómo ha sido tu entrenamiento vocal y musical?

Ha sido muy variado, en un principio he sido auto didacta, he pertenecido a una compañía coral, he tenido varios profesores y sigo teniendo. Y Cristobal mi compañero en Elitania me ha ayudado bastante en ese aspecto.

¿Elitania, que nos puedes decir de tu banda, que nos brinda?

Elitania es misticismo, es magia, es sentimiento puro, sus letras, su música, la conjunción de voces te llevarán a otro plano sin duda.

¿Algún proyecto nuevo en puerta con alguna otra banda, dueto o Tour?

Proyectos hay muchos y seguimos a la espera se que se concreten para poder darlos a conocer. trabajamos en algunas sorpresas para el disco en físico que en próximas fechas estaremos lanzando, también estamos esperando luz verde para visitar el centro de la república, esperemos sea muy pronto.

¿Cómo ha sido o es la escena Metalera en el Norte de México?

Existe si, más no con el auge que nosotros quisiéramos. como en muchos lugares esta compartida ¿sabes? de pronto mucho trash o mucho death pero no deja se ser metal, Aunque personalmente veo que La música popular es lo que más se escucha por acá.

Darkzen: WTF??? es una lástima en verdad, espero que ustedes les den el ánimo y un nuevo estilo, la música popular del Norte de México no es nada buena

¿Te gustaría hacer algún estilo más pesado u oscuro y si es así cual y porque?

Definitivamente Black Metal, Me gusta el género, su temática, su estilo es tan denso, tan oscuro.

¿Escribiste algunas las canciones de tus álbumes?

No. hasta ahora no he incursionado en el ámbito de la composición. (Hasta hoy) jaja

¿Algún nuevo video de su último álbum?

Claro que si, ya verán que pronto estará listo.

¿Qué nos espera de Elitania en este 2015?

Disco físico, Gira, nuevo integrante y más sorpresas.

¿Habrá nuevo álbum pronto, EP, video, Tour?

¡Siiii! Ya se esta cocinando algo nuevo, les encantará.

¿Algo más que nos quieras compartir?
