[ P.U.T ] , 3 brothers, living in Paris / Brussels, who making since 1998, a mix of machines vs guitares, noise, sludge-metal, industrial and punk to create a music borrows madness, emotion, heaviness and anger.

Personal and without concessions, their 5 albums, 9 maxis, 4 live, 7" and various sound experiments, does not disavow their influences (of Godflesh, Killing joke, Sonic Youth while passing by Scorn or Unsane) the band intrigues at the most point.

It's on stage which the band reveal is power, making same noise than a 4-5 piece musicians…. intense, raw, dirty, disturbing...More than 170 shows in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Swiss, Czech rep. and Germany.

​

A very atmospheric entry, dark and with electronic background sequences, very repetitive in this first part, with a voice full of anger and lack of control, later those dense and slow chords give it more than a heavy touch.

​

Nothing

​

A similar entry, repetitive, accented sequences, and complete electronic sequences, slow tempos, and cutting puncture chords! The voice gives more density to the song.

​

In conflict

​

A different entry! Melodic and faster, less dense chords and fast tempos, this song has more chord content with longer time and well executed, the background voices give it a euphoric touch!

Down

​

We return with the conservative and heartbreaking sludge metal touch, with a single heavy chord and low - bass notes, the background voices give it a dark, melancholic and malevolent vibe.

Oppressed

​

A very different sound to what we have been hearing, something else with very expressive psychedelic electronic sequences.

​

Excellent entry! Those very brutal, angry, very dense chords remind me a bit of King Crimson! This totally different song, slow and super dense tempos!

Very subliminal musical tickets, on each track you don't know what's coming! Slow chords, long notes and very long tempos, a heavy and dense atmosphere, very good style without a doubt on these tracks that leave us with a little more chaos!

Not your dog*

​

A dense chord and a challenging accompanying riff, a very own style of the band with the combination of atmospheric and heavy Sludge Metal styles, here they show us a perfect harmony of this style that they handle and combine!

Pain*

​

Closing with the same style and combined with slow, dense and dark notes, those chords sound bestially perfect, hard and very rough! Pauses a little long, but at all times the chords of those guitars make all the perfection.

My Recomendation

​

The album is an atmospheric combination rich in various musical styles within one, they have high concentration of Sludge Metal, dense lyrics, heavy, slow and aggressive sounds, with a totally devastating voice, this musical style is very special and for lovers of progressive and doom / Industrial Metal will love it! One of the songs I think stands out is Angry's heavy and aggressive song! As well as Not your dog and Pain.

​

Angry's song can be compared a bit with King Crimson's Happy With What You Have to Be Happy With song, a mainstay band of Progressive Rock! The difference is the high content of Sludge Metal (Punk / Industrial) that it has in essence.

​

It is a very surprising album since you do not know how the next style of the next song will be, I could say that it is a Sludge Metal / Progressive that makes it very varied and that is very good, only at the beginning of the album we have a repetitive rhythm with a more industrial part and in the final part with an excellent metal Sludge!

[P.U.T], 3 hermanos, que viven en París / Bruselas, que hacen desde el 1998, una mezcla con guitarras, ruido, lodos metálicos, industriales y punk para crear una música que toma prestada locura, emoción, pesadez e ira.

Personal y sin concesiones, sus 5 álbumes, 9 mixes, 4 en vivo, 7 "y varios experimentos de sonido, no niegan sus influencias (de Godflesh, Killing broma, Sonic Youth mientras pasaban por Scorn o Unsane), la banda intriga en su mayor punto. .

Es en el escenario donde la banda revela su poder, haciendo el mismo ruido que los músicos de 4-5 piezas ... intenso, crudo, sucio, perturbador ...

Una entrada muy atmosférica, oscura y con secuencias electrónicas de fondo, muy repetitiva en esta primera parte, con una voz llena de ira y de descontrol, posteriormente esos acordes densos y lentos le dan más que un toque pesado.

Nothing

​

Una entrada similar, secuencias repetitivas, acentuadas y secuencias electrónicas completas, tempos lentos y acordes punzo cortantes! La voz le da mayor densidad a la canción.

​

¡Una distinta entrada! Melódica y con mayor rapidez, acordes menos densos y tempos rápidos, esta canción tiene mayor contenido en acordes con mayor tiempo y bien ejecutados, las voces de fondo le dan un toque eufórico!

Down

​

Regresamos con el toque sludge metal conservador y desgarrador, con un solo acorde pesado y notas bajas – graves, las voces de fondo le dan el ambiente oscuro, melancólico y malévolo.

Oppressed

​

Un sonido muy distinto a lo que venimos escuchando, algo más con secuencias electrónicas psicodélicas muy expresivas.

Sonidos y secuencias atmosféricas de fondo perturbadoras, muy marcadas, repetitivas y con una ambientación siniestra, buen estilo!

Angry*

​

¡Excelente entrada! Esos acordes muy brutales, con ira, muy densos me recuerdan un poco a King Crimson! Esta canción totalmente muy diferente, tempos lentos y súper densos!

​

Possessed

​

Entradas musicales muy subliminales, en cada pista no sabes que vendrá! Acordes lentos, notas largas y tempos muy largos, un ambiente pesado y denso, muy buen estilo sin duda en estas pistas que nos dejan con un poco más de caos!

Not your dog*

​

Un acorde denso y un riff que lo acompaña desafiante, un estilo muy propio de la banda con la combinación de estilos Sludge Metal atmosférico y pesado, aquí nos demuestran una perfecta armonía de este estilo que manejan y combinan!

​

Pain*

​

Cerrando con el mismo estilo y combinado de notas lentas, densas y oscuras, esos acordes suenan bestialmente perfectos, duros y muy rudos! Pausas un poco largas, pero en todo momento los acordes de esas guitarras hacen toda la perfección.

 

Mi Recomendación

​

El albúm es un combinado atmosférico rico en diversos estilos musicales dentro de uno solo, tienen alta concentración de Sludge Metal, letras densas, sonidos pesados, lentos y agresivos, con una voz totalmente devastadora, este estilo musical es muy especial y para los amantes del progresivo y el doom/Industrial Metal les encantara! Una de las canciones creo que destacan es la de Angry pesada canción y agresiva! Asi como también Not your dog y Pain.

​

La canción de Angry la podemos comparar un poco con la canción de Happy With What You Have to Be Happy With de King Crimson una banda pilar del Rock Progresivo! La diferencia es el el alto contenido de Sludge Metal (Punk/Industrial) que tiene en esencia.

​

Es un albúm muy sorpresivo dado a que no sabes cómo será el estilo siguiente de la próxima canción, podría decir que es un Sludge Metal/Progresivo eso lo hace muy variado y eso está muy bien, solo al inicio del albúm tenemos un ritmo repetitivo con una parte más industrial y en la parte final con un excelente Sludge metal!
