‘Call of the North’ is the fourth Frozen Crown album, consolidating their sound while bringing at the same time unseen features on the table (like acoustic ballads and epic choirs), where Power Metal meets old-school Speed and classic Heavy Metal in a modern fashion, with a bombastic production highlighting opulent orchestrations and harmonies.

The Italian band comes back stronger than ever, with the most thoughtful yet the catchiest of their works, bringing along memorable refrains, heavy downtuned guitar riffs and intricate symphonic parts, tied together by a tense and epic battlefield atmosphere.

Being Frozen Crown’s most mature album, ‘Call of the North’ is the ideal soundtrack to a long journey in a frozen, forgotten land, through battle chants and war hymns, and defines the sound pushing all their trademark elements to a new level of complexity, without forgetting the easy to remember hooks the fans are used to.

Frozen Crown's new album has a lot of energy starting with the iconic name of the album, I can say that it has a tempo at the beginning with a slight Melodic Death style, which later changes those tones and tempos in a great way with Power's own style metal, The guitar riffs with the intense blow of the fast drums with low and forceful notes with good symphonic enthusiasm, Fire in the Sky with a lot of explosiveness and speed, great and changing tempos, with reminiscent of the powerful German bands of this genre their melody is catchy, in Black Heart with heavy and forceful riffs mid-tempo with darker melody and in one line and epic choruses, with Victorious acoustic guitars and Folk Metal styled vocals there is an abrupt change where the tight guitar riffs with frenetic type riffs take control being one of the fastest tracks on the album, and so on until the final part with Far Away a long instrumental part later with tight riffs with a fast rhythm and the voices join in a fantastic way, there are brief breaks in tempo and rhythm, a classic Power Metal song where the chords are the main and the highlight of the song.

The new album of "Call of the North" by Frozen Crown is a good album with a faithful and modern sound of Power metal with a bit of other musical styles like old school speed and classic Heavy Metal where the beautiful clean voice of Giada “Jade” Etro combines excellently with a single line tone register, I can compare this new album a bit to the sound of Ascient Bards with A New Dawn Ending in symphonic and power metal part.

'Call of the North' es el cuarto álbum de Frozen Crown, que consolida su sonido y trae al mismo tiempo características inéditas (como baladas acústicas y coros épicos), donde el Power Metal se encuentra con el Speed de la vieja escuela y el Heavy Metal clásico en un moda moderna, con una producción rimbombante que destaca orquestaciones y armonías opulentas.

 

La banda italiana regresa con más fuerza que nunca, con sus trabajos más reflexivos y a la vez más pegadizos, trayendo consigo estribillos memorables, riffs de guitarra pesados y afinados y partes sinfónicas intrincadas, unidas por una atmósfera de campo de batalla épica y tensa.

 

Siendo el álbum más maduro de Frozen Crown, 'Call of the North' es la banda sonora ideal para un largo viaje en una tierra helada y olvidada, a través de cánticos de batalla e himnos de guerra, y define el sonido llevando todos sus elementos característicos a un nuevo nivel de complejidad, sin olvidar los ganchos fáciles de recordar a los que están acostumbrados los aficionados.

El nuevo albúm de Frozen Crown tiene mucha energía al comenzar con el nombre icónico del albúm, puedo decir que tiene un tempo al inicio con un leve estilo de Death Melódico, que posteriormente cambian esos tonos y tempos de manera genial con el estilo propio de Power metal, Los riffs de guitarra con el intenso golpe de la batería rápida con notas bajas y contundentes con buen entusiasmo sinfónico, Fire in the Sky con mucha explosividad y velocidad, tempos geniales y cambiantes, con recuerdan a la poderosas bandas alemanas de este género su melodía es pegadiza, en Black Heart con riffs pesados y contundentes a medio tiempo con melodía más oscura y en una sola línea y coros épicos, con Victorious guitarras acústicas y las voces con estilos de Folk Metal hay un cambio brusco donde los riffs de guitarra ajustados con riffs de tipo frenético toman el control siendo una de las pistas más rápidas del álbum, y así hasta la parte final con Far Away una parte instrumental larga después con riffs ajustados con un ritmo rápido y las voces se unen de manera fantástica, hay breves pausas en tempo y ritmo, una canción clásica de Power Metal donde los acordes son los principales y el punto culminante de la canción.

El nuevo albúm de "Call of the North" de Frozen Crown es un buen albúm con un sonido fiel y moderno de Power metal con un poco de otros estilos musicales como speed de la vieja escuela y el Heavy Metal clásico donde la bella voz limpia de Giada “Jade” Etro se combina de excelente manera con un registro tono en una sola línea, puedo comparar un poco este nuevo albúm con el sonido de Ascient Bards con A New Dawn Ending en la parte sinfónica y power metal.
