Eilera is a French singer who has travelled a solo musical journey after being a member of the band Chrysalis. In this month she published her single entitled "Sea Widow" which is included in her latest album Waves that will be published early next year. This singer is characterized by the inclusion of elements of other musical genres such as pop, electronic and folk fused with rock.

Here’s the review:

The song has an instrumentation that evokes the stage where the conceptual part of this melody is being developed: Scotland. According to Eilera, the story is around a woman who loses her husband, a captain of a fishing boat. The inclusion of folk elements such as flutes and percussions fused with a soft rock maintain that feeling of nostalgia, sadness and melancholy that surround the song, coupled with the soprano voice and the orchestration of string instruments that add a theatrical and dramatic touch.

The Recommendation:

It is interesting the fusion that Eilera performs in the composition of her songs at the lyrical and musical level because she plays with different musical genres without leaving her roots rooted in rock. Waves will be a conceptual album that through its chords will transmit a sway of emotions and create an image in your mind that will move you to unknown places.

Eilera es una cantante de origen francés que ha recorrido un trayecto musical en solitario después de ser integrante de la banda Chrysalis. En este mes presentó su sencillo titulado “Sea Widow” que se incluye en su último álbum Waves que será publicado a principios del siguiente año. Esta cantante se caracteriza por la inclusión de elementos de otros géneros musicales como el pop, electrónica y folk fusionados con el rock.

Aquí la reseña:

La canción tiene una instrumentación que evoca al escenario en donde se está desarrollando la parte conceptual de esta melodía que es Escocia. De acuerdo con Eilera, la historia gira en torno a una mujer que pierde a su esposo, un capitán de un barco pesquero. La inclusión de elementos folclóricos como las flautas y las percusiones fusionados con un rock suave mantienen esa sensación de nostalgia, tristeza y melancolía que envuelven a la canción, aunado a la voz soprano y la orquestación de instrumentos de cuerda que le añaden un toque teatral y dramático.

La Recomendación:

Es interesante la fusión que realiza Eilera en la composición de sus canciones a nivel lírico y musical pues juega con diferentes géneros musicales sin dejar sus raíces fincadas en el rock. Waves será un álbum conceptual que a través de sus acordes transmitirá un vaivén de emociones y creará una imagen en tu mente que te trasladará a lugares desconocidos.
