The Melbourne singer/songwriter has made her mark on the rock and metal scene with the release of her debut single 'Monster' in 2016, featuring guitar work by Brett Garsed (John Farnham Band) along with her 2019 follow up track 'Lacuna' distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Warner Music Group (Australia) and is the lead single off the upcoming album.

 

The single garnered a lot of media praise and created an opportunity for Victoria K to support Swiss folk metal giants Eluveitie for their May 2019 tour date in Melbourne, a performance that had the crowd chanting for an encore.

 

Although the album was originally a solo project, it has now developed into the current band structure with each member bringing their own energy and experience to the collective.  The band is looking forward to collaborating on future releases and is now heavily focused on the release of this debut full length in April.

 

Victoria K adds:

 

"I really hope that when our fans and new listeners hear the album they can all find something that they connect with on a deeper level.  Whether that connection is found from within the music itself or from specific lyrics, I really hope they find something familiar, which can connect them to some experience they have had, invoking memories and feelings, eliciting an emotional response."

 

Victoria K's talented songwriting and compositional influences include Evanescence, Within Temptation, Nightwish and Kamelot amongst other current bands in the European metal scene and her music have been likened to be a blend of these influences. Victoria K has racked up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube with her own original creations and through featured videos alongside a number of talented musicians covering a plethora of songs. Victoria K's covers include Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", Nightwish's "Last Ride of the Day", Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" and Kamelot's "Insomnia", the latter of which received attention from the band themselves on Twitter and led to a meeting of talents when the American power metal band found themselves in Melbourne during their 2018 'The Shadow Theory' Australian tour.

They start with an incredible, dark and dense chord, long and slow musical note, the combination of voices is very gratifying, a guttural background and the beautiful voice that guides us and tells this story of Victoria K! Sheri's Amazing Gutural!

 

Surreal

 

An interesting musical entry, we continue with the slow and dense chord, accompanied by the beautiful symphonic voice of Victoria K, a little speed in the middle of the track, the slow and hard chord present in much of the song, a short sound from the far east at the end of the excellent track.

Forsaken (feat. Sheri Vengeance)

 

Perfect single string entry! A deeper, stronger and more forceful chord! The beautiful voice of Victoria melodic, soft and fascinating! The accompaniment of the throaty voice gives it a more brutal force and that double of drums with more drama!

 

Matrix (feat. Sheri Vengeance)

 

An entry with the beautiful voice of Victoria K that guides us towards a tornado of faster sounds, melodic and with more energy! And in the company of Sheri's throaty voice with a darker and more powerful presence!

 

Shroud of Solitude (feat. Michalina Malisz – Eluveitie)

 

That a beautiful musical entry! Atmospheric, symphonic full of history and vintage, accompanied by slow and long musical notes with a majestic execution of Victoria's voice, then it surprises us with guitar chords and a drum beat at times, the piano makes a presence in all musical history .

 

The Haunting

 

I love this totally epic musical input! Full of folk and then bombards us with a fast guitar chord that opens the way to Victoria's melodic and seductive voice.

Freaks

 

An entry very different from the other songs, stronger and more forceful, the drums with greater presence and speed, the vocal scale of the beautiful voice of Victoria with much greater range and execution.

 

Mist Filled Sky

 

Returning with a beautiful harmonic and slow sound with a light chord at the beginning, but we are assaulted with a brutal, energetic and faster speed of guitars and drums! And so it envelops us and now with an excellent guitar riff that accompanies the track with that distinctive heavy touch.

 

Humanity

 

Slow and metaphorical entrance, piano and the beautiful voice of Victoria K which guides us through this earthly darkness that enraptures our ears with this wonderful symphonic demonstration.

 

Lacuna

 

And closing this majestic debut album with a force and forcefulness full of deep and heavy chords as at the beginning of this super conceptual symphonic album full of emotions and very classic and exquisite Symphonic Metal musical demonstrations!

 

My Recomendation

 

It is an excellent work of Victoria K! An album full of musical majesty with a perfect Symphonic Metal! A Symphonic Metal as such and with Folk! I haven't listened to one like this for a long time, it has alternative metal influences that stand out, heavy, dense chords, long musical notes, changes in the musical scale without problem, almost most of the songs the endings are unexpected and that makes you stay with The desire to continue listening more, in addition to the voice of Victoria K, clear and very elegant, prevail above all the album and in three interesting songs with extreme voices by Sheri Vengeance.

 

It has subtle choruses, combinations of elements full of flashing chords, sincerely it is a good work of Symphonic Metal that lovers of this great musical genre will like for its strength and darkness!

 

The Voice

 

Victoria's beautiful voice is very remarkable, throughout the album her register and vocal range is unique, it does not vary much, on the contrary very sublime, clean and clear, with a shift in the musical scale towards a lower sound by the musical scale that show us throughout the album, the accompaniment of Sheri's throaty voice is perfect! For the ambience and concept of the album!

La cantante y compositora de Melbourne ha dejado su huella en la escena del rock y el metal con el lanzamiento de su single debut 'Monster' en 2016, con el trabajo de guitarra de Brett Garsed (John Farnham Band) junto con su pista de seguimiento 'Lacuna' de 2019 distribuida en Australia y Nueva Zelanda por Warner Music Group (Australia) y es el sencillo principal del próximo álbum.

 

El sencillo obtuvo muchos elogios de los medios y creó una oportunidad para que Victoria K apoyara a los gigantes suizos del folk metal Eluveitie para su gira de mayo de 2019 en Melbourne, una actuación que hizo que la multitud cantara un bis.

 

Aunque el álbum fue originalmente un proyecto en solitario, ahora se ha convertido en la estructura de la banda actual con cada miembro aportando su propia energía y experiencia al colectivo. La banda espera colaborar en futuros lanzamientos y ahora está muy enfocada en el lanzamiento de este debut completo en abril.

Inician con un acorde increíble, oscuro y denso, nota musical larga y lenta, la combinación de voces es muy gratificante, un gutural de fondo y la bella voz que nos guía y narra esta historia de Victoria K! Increíble Gutural de Sheri!

 

Surreal

 

Una entrada musical interesante, seguimos con el acorde lento y denso, acompañado de la bella voz sinfónica de Victoria K, un poco de velocidad a la mitad de la pista, el acorde lento y duro presente en gran parte de la canción, un breve sonido del lejano oriente al casi finalizar la pista excelente.

 

Forsaken (feat. Sheri Vengeance)

 

Perfecta entrada de cuerdas único! Un acorde más profundo, fuerte y más contundente! La bella voz de Victoria melódica, suave y fascinante! El acompañamiento de la voz gutural le da una fuerza más brutal y ese bombo de batería con mayor dramatismo!

 

Matrix (feat. Sheri Vengeance)

 

Una entrada con la bella voz de Victoria K que nos guía hacia un tornado de sonidos más rápidos, melódicos y con más energía! Y en la compañía de la voz gutural de Sheri con mayor presencia más oscura y poderosa!

 

Shroud of Solitude (feat. Michalina Malisz – Eluveitie)

 

Que bella entrada musical! Atmosférica, sinfónica llena de historia y de época, acompañada con notas musicales lentas y largas con una ejecución majestuosa de voz de Victoria, después nos sorprende con acordes de guitarra y un compás de batería por momentos, el piano hace presencia en toda la historia musical.

 

The Haunting

 

Me encantan estas entradas musicales totalmente épicas! Llenas de folk y posteriormente nos bombardea con un acorde veloz de guitarra que abre paso a la voz melódica y seductora de Victoria.

 

Freaks

 

Una entrada muy diferente a las demás canciones, más fuerte y contundente, la batería con mayor presencia y velocidad, la escala vocal de la bella voz de Victoria con mucho mayor alcance y ejecución.

 

Mist Filled Sky

 

Regresando con un bello sonido armónico y lento con un acorde ligero al inicio, pero nos asaltan con un poder de guitarras y batería brutal, enérgica y con mayor velocidad! Y así nos envuelve y ahora con un excelente riff de guitarra que acompaña a la pista con ese toque pesado que distingue.

 

Humanity

 

Entrada lenta y metafórica, piano y la bella voz de Victoria K la cual nos guía atraves de esta oscuridad terrenal que nos embelesa el oído con esta maravillosa demostración sinfónica.

 

Lacuna

 

Y cerrando este majestuoso albúm debut con una fuerza y contundencia llena de acordes pesados y profundos como al inicio de este súper albúm sinfónico conceptual lleno de emociones y demostraciones musicales de Metal Sinfónico muy clásico y exquisito!

 

 

Mi Recomendación

 

Es un excelente trabajo de Victoria K! Un albúm lleno de majestuosidad musical con un Metal Sinfónico perfecto! Un Metal Sinfónico como tal y con Folk! Hace tiempo que no escuchaba uno así, tiene influencias de metal alternativo que destacan, acordes pesados, densos, notas musicales largas, cambios en la escala musical sin problema, casi en su mayoría de canciones los finales son inesperados y eso hace que te quedes con ganas de seguir escuchando más, además de la voz de Victoria K, clara y muy elegante, prevalecen sobre todo el albúm y en tres canciones interesantes con voces extremas de Sheri Vengeance.

 

 Tiene coros sutiles, combinaciones de elementos llenos de acordes destellantes, sinceramente es un buen trabajo de Metal Sinfónico que por su fuerza y oscuridad les gustara a los amantes de este gran género musical!

 

La Voz

 

La bella voz de Victoria es muy destacable, en todo el albúm su registro y rango vocal es único, no varía mucho, al contrario muy sublime, limpia y clara, con un corrimiento en la escala musical hacia un sonido más grave por la escala musical que nos demuestran en todo el albúm, el acompañamiento de la voz gutural de Sheri es perfecto! Para el ambiente y concepto del albúm!
