Official Bio

Formed in 2003, Your Last Wish is a death metal band with thrash metal overtones, melodic yet aggressive, which should appeal to fans of The Black Dahlia Murder, Hatesphere and Darkest Hour. The band currently has three recordings under its belt, a self-titled album released by Cryogenics Records in 2007, a promo MCD released in 2011 with the actual lineup and a new full length album released during the summer of 2012. Using 8 strings guitars now gives the band even more posibilites to achieve to desired sound. The latest album, called DESOLATION, was recorded by Jef Fortin (Anonymus, Unexpect, Mass Murder Messiah) at Badass Studio. A worldwide distribution deal has since been inked with Maple Metal Records. An official clip for “Hastening Deaht” was filmed by Silver Wings Studios to help promote the band latest release. Since its beginning, the band has shared the stage with bands such as Kalmah, Unexpect, Beneath The Massacre, Augury and Anonymus and have performed numerous shows in different venues around the province of Quebec.

Eradicate

We have a disturbing start! Melodic, very atmospheric and heavy! With Roxana's powerful strength, catchy riffs and that forceful and dangerous double pedal! Roxana's voice and some gutturals are devastating!

Exile

Excellent start an avalanche of sounds direct to your ears, heavy and powerful, the sound and style of this track is great Death Metal with a bit of old-school style!

Monarque

A heavy and forceful entry reminds me of brutal bands like Nile and the powerful combination of Roxana Woow's voice! It adds more strength and power to this song, continuous and catchy riffs, but the Drums are overwhelming! A modern combination of Melodic Death.

Décimé

A more acoustic musical entrance that is later invaded with a brutal and strong sound to burst your ears with an even more imprinted speed, in addition to a certain degree of progressiveness in the guitar riffs, along with Roxana's voice fighting with its maximum power!

Lost

We enter a brief pause with this song, the entrance a little atmospheric and with a slower sound, here we find a little Progressive Metal and the voice of Roxane accompanying it with a more melancholic style.

Pursuit

Excellent opening of this song, it returns with force and vitality as at the beginning of the album, with good musical changes such as the chords and in the speed of the Battery, that double pedal is great without a doubt.

Pandore

An atmospheric and acoustic input, but here the voice combinations sound with more power and darkness! Simon Girard doing a powerful duet with Roxana, a technical rich sound and with a little progressive, a lot of anger is felt and that drummer with that brutal forcefulness is excellent.

Prestige

A slightly different style, melodic and structured, in those changes in time we can appreciate it and it sounds super good, Roxana's voice with the same force with which it started!

Le Cri Du Monde

Shutting strong and brutal! That is to end with elegance and forcefulness, those gutturals from the beginning are powerful, plus the pedal speed, drums and that continuous chord make a perfect musical closure of this album.

My Recomendation

It is a good musical work, based on the lyrics and influenced by elements such as progressive metal, black metal for some moments in the dark and melodic structure, and of course a powerful death metal, melodic death metal and could even say a bit of death Technically, in all its splendor that enriches every moment with that devilish battery and cutting and forceful riffs, I think that for lovers of this genre and excellent it will be more than another gem of brutality!

The Voice

Roxana's powerful voice sounds absolutely demonic, it shows all her skills and strength like the incredible growl that she shows us throughout the album, and this adds more strength and presence along with the voices that accompany her, without losing presence or energy, and Thus ends the album in a brutal and overwhelming way.

Formada en 2003, Your Last Wish es una banda de death metal con matices de thrash metal, melódica pero agresiva, que debería atraer a los fanáticos de The Black Dahlia Murder, Hatesphere y Darkest Hour. La banda actualmente tiene tres grabaciones en su haber, un álbum homónimo lanzado por Cryogenics Records en 2007, un MCD promocional lanzado en 2011 con la alineación real y un nuevo álbum de larga duración lanzado durante el verano de 2012. Usando guitarras de 8 cuerdas ahora le da a la banda aún más posibilidades para lograr el sonido deseado. El último álbum, llamado DESOLATION, fue grabado por Jef Fortin (Anonymus, Unexpect, Mass Murder Messiah) en Badass Studio. Desde entonces, se ha firmado un acuerdo de distribución mundial con Maple Metal Records. Silver Wings Studios filmó un clip oficial de "Hastening Deaht" para ayudar a promover el último lanzamiento de la banda. Eradicate

¡Tenemos un inicio perturbador! Melódico, muy atmosférico y pesado! Con la poderosa fuerza de Roxana, Riffs pegadizos y ese doble pedal contundente y peligroso! La voz de Roxana y algunos guturales se escuchan demoledores!

Exile

Excelente inicio una avalancha de sonidos directos a tus oídos, pesados y potentes, el sonido y estilo de esta pista es genial un Death Metal con un poco del estilo a la vieja escuela!

Monarque

Una pesada y contundente entrada, me recuerda a bandas brutales como Nile y la poderosa combinación de la voz de Roxana Woow! Imprime mayor fuerza y poder a esta canción, Riffs pegadizos y continuos, pero la Batería es aplastante! Una combinación moderna de Melodic Death.

Décimé

Una entrada musical más acústica que posteriormente con invaden con un sonido brutal y fuerte para reventar tus oídos con una velocidad aún más impresa, además de cierto grado de progresividad en los riffs de guitarra, junto a la voz de Roxana peleando con su máximo poder!

Lost

Se entra en una breve pausa con esta canción la entrada un poco atmosférica y con un sonido más lento, aquí encontramos un poco Progressive Metal y la voz de Roxane acompañando con un estilo más melancólico.

Pursuit

Excelente apertura de esta canción, se regresa con fuerza y vitalidad como al inicio del álbum, con buenos cambios musicales como lo es los acordes y en la velocidad de la Batería, ese doble pedal es genial sin duda.

Pandore

Una entrada también atmosférica y acústica, pero aquí las combinaciones de voces suenan con mayor poder y oscuridad! Simon Girard haciendo un dúo potente con Roxana, un sonido rico, técnico y con un poco de progresivo, mucha Ira se siente y esa batería con esa contundencia brutal es excelente.

Prestige

Un estilo un poco diferente, melódico y estructurado, en esos cambios en tiempo lo podemos apreciar y se escucha súper bien, la voz de Roxana con la misma fuerza con la que empezó!

Le Cri Du Monde

¡Cerrando fuerte y brutal! Eso es cerrar con elegancia y contundencia, esos guturales desde el inicio son poderosos, más la velocidad del pedal, Batería y ese acorde continuo hacen un perfecto cierre musical de este álbum.

Mi Recomendación

Es un buen trabajo musical, con base en la lírica y con influencia de elementos como progresive metal, black metal por algunos momentos en la estructura melódica y oscura y claro que un poderoso death metal, melodic death metal y hasta podría decir un poco de death técnico, en todo su esplendor que enriquecen a cada momento con esa batería endemoniada y riffs cortantes y contundentes, creo que para los amantes de este género y excelente será más que otra joya de brutalidad!

La Voz

La poderosa voz de Roxana suena absolutamente demoníaca, muestra todas sus habilidades y fuerza como el increíble gruñido que nos demuestra en todo el álbum, y esto le agrega más fuerza y presencia junto a las voces que la acompañan, sin perder presencia ni energía, y así termina el álbum de una manera brutal y abrumadora.
