Taylor Michel Momsen is an American actress , model and American music , known for playing Jenny Humphrey in the television series Gossip Girl, and Cindy Lou Who in The Grinch movie . Currently he is the lead singer of the rock band The Pretty Reckless .

 

The Pretty Reckless is an American hard rock band originally from New York, currently composed of Taylor Momsen ( Gossip Girl actress ) ( vocals and rhythm guitar), Ben Phillips ( lead guitar, vocals ), Mark Damon (bass) and Jamie Perkins (drums). In 2010 , the band signed with the label Interscope Records and released their debut album Light Me Up , which debuted in sixth place in the United Kingdom and resulted in the top-100 in several countries

"Follow Me Down"

 

Very hot entree! Excellent pace between the song and the voice of Taylor, strong, abrasive and aggressive voice! Heavy guitars, those pauses give a warm touch of rebel Pure Hard Rock, battery missing something, change clean and clear voice, the time duration between song and speech is harmonious, hard way! The voiceover exciting Jenna Haze!

 

"Going to Hell"

 

Great aggressive entry into its finest, strong! Heavy and dense guitars, the track slower pace, pauses between voice and great song, apprehensive, and fulminant abrupt end! With sounds from heavy to light.

 

"Heaven Knows"

 

Good atmosphere with school background sounds, rebellious era! Excellent acoustic / ballad for sure! Taylor 's voice delights our ears , clean and serious at the same time voice, falsetto coupled small track but I definitely like the previous entry to the next song !

 

" Why'd You Bring a Shotgun to the Party"

 

Very different from the previous entry , similar to the previous tracks density , speed starts to drop, but the intensity remains strong ! Those strong vocals give a perfect touch of strength and toughness ! Excellent with the sounds of gunfire in the background! It gives more life to the song and fierceness !

 

 

"Fucked Up World"

 

The strength and become wild, and strong guitars and heavy drums in the voice track speed is average, what strikes me is the difference between the theme of each song and style between each, the voice of Taylor not low intensity ! It really is a strong, aggressive and whit content erotic album, a combination of styles found, an excellent album of Hard Rock! There is continuous, there are strong and heavy tracks, more lightweight and sensitive tracks, Taylor's voice is strong and is maintained throughout the disc, the initial songs are catchy and some intermediate, the differences between the acoustic and the songs recording are excellent musically minimal differences, but it is the same voice! And that surprised me! And I like it because it does not lower your level! It really is a well made and recorded music.

 

The presentation of the album is very bold and sexy! With a body exposure Taylor oriented with a clear message to an adult audience, which also letters say it all and advances in the videos! Which wow! My friend Taylor, excellent! The next album I hope even more heaviness!

"Follow Me Down"

 

Entrada muy caliente! Excelente ritmo entre la canción y la voz de Taylor, voz fuerte, abrasiva y agresiva! Guitarras pesadas, esas pausas le dan un cálido toque rebelde de Hard Rock puro, batería algo ausente, cambio de voz limpia y clara, el tiempo entre la canción y duración de voz es armónico, final duro! La voz de fondo muy excitante de Jenna Haze!

 

"Going to Hell" 

 

Gran entrada agresiva en su máxima expresión, fuerte! Guitarras pesadas y densas, ritmo más lento del track, pausas entre la voz y la canción genial, final aprensivo, fulminante y abrupto! Con sonidos entre pesados a ligeros.

 

"Heaven Knows"

 

Buena atmosfera de fondo con sonidos escolares, época rebelde! De muchos de nosotros, voz fuerte manteniendo el status de la canción, tiempos de paso entre voz, coro y batería creativo!, los riffs de guitarra agudos, batería excelente! Mayor presencia, velocidad de la canción más lenta, final con coros estudiantiles ligeros.

 

"House on a Hill"

 

Entrada cardiaca! Atmosfera dramática, guitarra acústica la voz de Taylor se acopla perfectamente con el tono musical de la guitarra, mantiene esa agudeza vocal, batería más ligera, balada más que nada en este track, voz limpia y tranquila, aquí podemos escuchar a detalle la habilidad vocal de la bella Taylor! Final cardiaco!

 

"Sweet Things"

 

Entrada poderosa! Rápida! Que riffs! Es un track pesado y denso Cobinacion de voces masculina y femenina más suave, tiempos perfectos entre pausas y continuidad, guitarras y batería en balance y sonido, aunque final algo flojo.

 

"Dear Sister" *

 

Una entrada muy suave y sutil, voz de fondo sublime, una canción totalmente atmosférica, tiempo corto y previo.

 

"Absolution"

 

Acústica excelente, entrada estruendosa, paso de batería contante y dura, velocidad del track regular, voz de Taylor genial suave y relajada Manteniendo el tono y timbre adecuado a la temática del resto de los tracks.

 

"Blame Me"

 

Entrada relajante, voz limpia con una extensión más suave y de mayor expresión en su rango vocal, guitarras ligeras y batería latente, velocidad del track intermedio, tiempo entre la canción y la voz de Taylor equilibrado.

 

 

"Burn"

 

Un acústico/balada excelente sin duda! La voz de Taylor nos deleita al oído, voz limpia y grave a la vez, falsete acoplado, pequeño track sin duda pero me gusta la entrada previa a la siguiente canción!

 

"Why’d You Bring a Shotgun to the Party"

 

Entrada muy diferente a la anterior, densidad semejante a los anteriores tracks, la velocidad comienza a bajar, pero la intensidad se mantiene fuerte! Esas vocalizaciones fuertes le dan un toque perfecto de fortaleza y dureza! Excelente con esos sonidos de disparos de fondo! Le da más vida a la canción y fiereza!

 

"Fucked Up World"

 

La fuerza y lo salvaje vuelven, guitarras y batería contundente y pesada en la voz, la velocidad del track es regular, lo que me llama la atención es la diferencia entre la temática de cada canción y el estilo entre cada una, la voz de Taylor, no baja de intensidad! Se acopla perfectamente a esos cambios tanto en velocidad como en fuerza como lo dije anteriormente!

 

"Waiting for a Friend"

 

Una canción totalmente muy relajante, con un estilo muy americano, sublime y elegante en la voz, limpia y baja en intensidad, la canción habla por sí misma de la temática de su letra, y esa armónica le da un toque especial muy sureño!

 

Going To Hell y Sweet Things en Acústico

 

Las dos versiones son buenas interpretaciones, en cada una podemos escuchar la dualidad y lo bien que esta trabajada su voz, una más sublime y la otra más osada y veras, la voz te Taylor es fenomenal, su rango de voz no es tan aguda, y ahí está su limitante, pero su grave es excelente, fuerte y áspera! Al estilo propio de la canción! Realmente! Una muestra en su calidad vocal!

 

Kill me y Only you

 

En estas canciones para la edición Japonesa e Internacional como bonus, son muy semejantes entre sí, la velocidad, estilo, salvo que kill me es más densa y pesada, y en voz, más sublime y suave, en velocidad de voz y la canción están acopladas, las secuencias de fondo le dan el toque malvado y rebelde!

Mi Recomendación: 9.5/10

 

Realmente es un disco fuerte, agresivo y con contenido erótico, un combinado de estilos encontrados, un excelente álbum de Hard Rock! No es continuo, hay tracks fuertes y pesados, hay tracks más ligeros y sensibles, la voz de Taylor es fuerte y se mantiene en todo el disco, las canciones iniciales son pegadizas y algunas intermedias, las diferencias entre los acústicos y las canciones de grabación son excelentes, diferencias mínimas musicalmente, pero en voz es la misma! Y eso me sorprende! Y me gusta, porque no baja su nivel! Realmente es un álbum bien hecho y grabado.

 

La presentación del disco es muy atrevido y sensual! Con una exposición del cuerpo de Taylor con un claro mensaje orientado a un público adulto, el cual también las letras lo dicen todo y los adelantos de los videos! El cual wow! Mi amiga Taylor, excelente! El siguiente álbum espero más pesadez aun!
