NATRIBU a Rock-Metal-Alternative band! From Fuerteventura, Canary Islands Spain! With the members of the Jonay Perez (Bass) group, Salvador Iglesias (Guitar), Jorge Brito (Guitar), Jonay Rodriguez (Drums) and on the voice with Chapi Solla!

How have you been Chapi?
Very good, although this summer a little busy with everything that comes with the release of our latest record work QUIMERA.
Tell us a little about your Chimera-Tour in México! How about the Mexican Audience? The fans!
Chapi
It has been incredible, since we stepped on Aztec lands, they have treated us with great affection in each and every one of the cities we visited on this tour in Mexico. I was very pleasantly surprised that the Mexican public, being our first tour, chanted the songs and wrapped us from the first song of our live show, I just feel very lucky and excited about what we experienced.
With what other Mexican bands did you alternate? How was the experience?

In four of the five shows we went with ZENOBIA who were the headliners, then in four shows we were also accompanied by Savanth and Dogma from San Luis Potosí, also in México City was Reckoning and in Puebla Ángel Nocturno, with all the bands very Well, great musicians and better people.
Moving on to another point. Tell us a little about yourself for all our readers! Chapi is ,,,,

I am a girl from Madrid that one day I arrived on an island in the Atlantic called Fuerteventura and found my place in the world. In the musical plane I identify myself on a stage with the force of Rock, that mixture of emotions and anger when telling stories, where the skin bristles, the heart sings and a tear escapes.
How did you get to the Natribu band? Have you been to any other before?
Chapi
I was in several formations of very local scope in Fuerteventura. Then I agreed with the NATRIBU singer and we talked a little, I saw one of his rehearsals and when I saw them live and I said to myself, “I would love to be able to sing with them, they are very good”, they proposed a collaboration in the first album "CAMINO" and for things of destiny, at the end of 2011 Jorge calls me the guitar and proposes me to be the singer of the band and this is how my dream came true. Since then there are several years touring nationally and now internationally and six recordings.
Which means the name of the band 'Natribu'?

NATRIBU is the combination of NATIVO + TRIBU, it was the case back in 2004 that all the members of the band at that time, were 100% native of the island of Fuerteventura, this being a somewhat strange thing, since the natives of the island are only about 20% of the population.
What musical influences do you have Chapi? More Rock or More Metal?
Chapi
More Urban Rock type Block, Leño, Extremoduro, some more modern alternative rock in the Sober or heavy line like Leo Jimenez, I also carry flamenco in my blood and when I hear a bolero I can't help remembering my father. If the music is good and I like it, I have no prejudices for the genre to which it belongs.
Is there any style within the heavier Metal that you like? Like which?

I am more of less heavy genres, I stay in Urban Rock, or Alternative Metal, preferably in Spanish.
The album of Chimera, tell us a little about its production! Why the name of Chimera?
Chapi
QUIMERA has been produced entirely in Crab Sound-record, Jorge Brito's studio our guitar, all the songs composed and arranged by NATRIBU.
Well, the title QUIMERA came by the mix of styles that we include when we compose music, since you will hardly find in any of our works songs very similar to each other, rather the opposite, even if they keep a nexus of the essence of NATRIBU in the general sound, but some songs are more modern, others more classic heavys, others with electronic brushstrokes, it is like the chimera the mythological animal, body head and tail of different animals, because we take as the work was a mixture in its five cuts , all different from each other and we take CHIMERA as a title, evoking in the Art the idyllic side of the word, emulating a girl who lives in a horrible, destroyed, polluted world and who goes to her ideal world (chimera).
The video of ‘The Own Gods’ Videolyric is great, the rhythm and your voice! Will you have a video as such or just the videolyric?

It will only be in Videolyric, we are already working on what will be the video clip of the album and we hope you like it.
Any preview of another new video of another song from the new album?
Chapi
We will launch before the end of 2019 the official video clip of one of the songs on the album and some more things.
What can you tell our fans in México, I think they were left wanting to hear more!
Chapi
That we had a good time of POCA MADRE!, that we are already working to return to a land that has welcomed us with open arms, wishing we could announce that we can be in 2020 in Mexico and with a more extensive repertoire.

And in Spain, what surprises do you have for us? Any other tour is coming soon?

If in Spain, we start the Tour on November 16 in Vitoria and we will not stop until May 2020, we will soon announce all the dates.
What other surprises do you have for us this year and with the band Natribu?
Chapi
The most imminent is the beginning of Tour in Spain and the launch of the official Videoclip before the end of this year.

That I am very grateful that you give me the opportunity to reach as many more people as possible, that it has been a pleasure to have started a tour in México and wishing that I already started in Spain and continue to enjoy music and all the people wonderful that we meet along the way.

¿Cómo has estado Chapi?
Muy bien, aunque este verano un poco ajetreada con todo lo que conlleva el lanzamiento de nuestro último trabajo discográfico QUIMERA.
Cuéntanos un poco de su Quimera-Tour en México! ¿Qué tal la Audiencia Mexicana? Los Fans!

Ha sido increíble, desde que pisamos tierras aztecas, nos han tratado con muchísimo cariño en todas y cada una de las ciudades que visitamos en esta gira en México. Me ha sorprendido muy gratamente que el público mexicano, siendo nuestra primera gira, coreaban las canciones y nos arropaban desde la primera canción de nuestro directo, simplemente me siento muy afortunada y emocionada por lo vivido.
Con que otras bandas Mexicanas Alternaron? Que tal la Experiencia?

En cuatro de los cinco Shows íbamos con ZENOBIA que eran los cabezas de cartel, luego en cuatro shows también nos acompañaron Savanth y Dogma originarios de San Luis Potosí, además en Ciudad de México estuvo Reckoning y en Puebla Ángel Nocturno, con todas las bandas muy bien, grandes músicos y mejores personas.
Pasando a otro punto. Cuéntanos un poco de ti para todos nuestros lectores! Chapi es,,,,
Chapi
Soy una chica madrileña que un buen día llegué una isla en el Atlántico llamada Fuerteventura y encontré mi lugar en el mundo. En el plano musical me identifico sobre un escenario con la fuerza del Rock, esa mezcla de emociones y rabia al contar historias, donde la piel se eriza, el corazón canta y alguna lágrima se escapa.
Como llegaste a la banda de Natribu? Estuviste en alguna otra anteriormente?

Estuve en varias formaciones de ámbito muy local en Fuerteventura. Luego coincidí con el cantante de NATRIBU y hablamos un poco, vi uno de sus ensayos y cuando les vi en directo y me dije a mi misma, “me encantaría alguna vez poder cantar con ellos, son muy buenos”, me propusieron una colaboración en el primer disco “CAMINO” y por cosas del destino, a finales del 2011 me llama Jorge el guitarra y me propone que sea la cantante de la banda y así es como mi sueño se hizo realidad. Desde entonces son varios años girando a nivel nacional y ahora internacional y seis trabajos discográficos.
Que significa el nombre de la banda ‘Natribu’?

NATRIBU es la combinación de NATIVO+TRIBU, se dio el caso allá por el 2004 que todos los integrantes de la banda en ese momento, eran originarios al 100% de la isla de Fuerteventura, siendo esto una cosa un tanto extraña, ya que los nativos de la isla son solo el 20% de la población aproximadamente.
Que influencias musicales tienes Chapi? Mas Rock o Mas Metal?

Más Rock Urbano tipo Bloque, Leño, Extremoduro, algo de rock alternativo más moderno en la línea de Sober o el heavy como Leo Jimenez, también llevo el flamenco en la sangre y cuando escucho un bolero no puedo evitar recordar a mi padre. Si la música es buena y me gusta no tengo prejuicios por el género al que pertenezca.
Hay algún estilo dentro del Metal más pesado que te guste? Cómo cuál?
Chapi
Soy más de géneros menos pesados, me quedo en Rock Urbano, o Metal Alternativo, preferentemente en español.
El albúm de Quimera, dinos un poco de su producción! Porque el nombre de Quimera?
Chapi
QUIMERA ha sido producido íntegramente en Crab Sound-record, el estudio de Jorge Brito nuestro guitarra, todos los temas compuestos y arreglados por NATRIBU.
Pues el titulo QUIMERA vino por la mezcla de estilos que englobamos cuando componemos música, ya que difícilmente te vas a encontrar en ninguno de nuestros trabajos canciones muy similares entre sí, más bien todo lo contrario, aunque si guarden un nexo de la esencia de NATRIBU en el sonido general, pero unos temas son más modernos, otros más heavys clásicos, otros con pinceladas electrónicas, es como quimera el animal mitológico, cuerpo cabeza y cola de diferentes animales, pues tomamos como que el trabajo era una mezcla en sus cinco cortes, todos distintos entre sí y tomamos QUIMERA como título, evocando en el Arte el lado idílico de la palabra, emulando a una niña que vive en un mundo horrible, destruido, contaminado y que se dirige a su mundo ideal (quimera).
El vídeo de ‘Los Propios Dioses’ Videolyric esta genial, el ritmo y tu voz! Tendrá un vídeo como tal o solo así el videolyric?

Solo estará en Videolyric, ya estamos trabajando en el que será el videoclip del disco y esperamos que guste.
Algún adelanto de otro nuevo vídeo de otra canción del nuevo albúm?
Chapi
Lanzaremos antes de que acabe el 2019 el videoclip oficial de uno de los temas del disco y alguna cosita más.
Que les puedes decir a nuestros fans en México, yo creo que se quedaron con ganas de escucharlos más!

Que lo pasamos de POCA MADRE!, que estamos trabajando ya para volver a una tierra que nos ha recibido con los brazos abiertos, deseando poder anunciar que podamos estar en 2020 en México y con un repertorio más extenso.

Si en España, comenzamos la Gira el 16 de Noviembre en Vitoria y no pararemos hasta Mayo del 2020, pronto anunciaremos todas las fechas.
Que otras sorpresas nos tienes Chapi para este cierre de año y con la banda Natribu?
Chapi
Lo más inminente es el comienzo de Gira en España y el lanzamiento del Videoclip oficial antes de acabar este año.

Que estoy muy agradecida de que me deis la oportunidad de llegar a cuantas más personas mejor, que ha sido todo un placer el poder haber comenzado una gira en México y deseando que comience ya en España y seguir disfrutando de la música y de toda la gente maravillosa que vamos conociendo en el camino.
