Greetings my friends! An Angel fall from the sky! If our friend Sandra Laureano! Talented and very pretty! We gave this little interview! To all of you! , Let's talk about her

Sandra Laureano Croatian Origin has been working this way very different bands since 2008, among them are Kein Zurück and Thunderstorm in the first band as lead vocalist and bassist in the second, good talent!

Recently the Swedish band Therion, surprised us when they was confirmed as part of the new lineup.

Hello! My friend! thank you very much for this great opportunity! to know about you! And let me congratulate you for being with great bands in the Metal, and also be with Therion, really hoping for a big surprise!

Tell us ! some of you!! what has been your artistic career?

 

I’ve been an opera singer so far, with some participation in metal and other modern music projects.

 

What kind of musical studies you've had?

 

Opera singing and piano. Earlier I also studied organ, mandolin, guitar and upright bass.

 

As you train your voice? it is very beautiful! What range of voice you have?

 

I train my voice several times a week - it also depends on how frequent the rehearsals are. I have a pretty wide range - 3,5 octaves, so I can produce both very high and very low sounds. But in singing the most important thing is to reach the noble sound of voice - if you have a wide range and your voice lacks quality, no one will listen to you. I had wide range by nature but it took me years to reach high singing level.

 

 

Because you chose the band Therion?

 

Christopher, the founder of Therion, and his girlfriend Mina wrote to me wether I would like to perform with the band, and since i liked Therion even before, I decided to give it a try - and it turned out to be great! I’ve been feeling big support from all the band members since our first rehearsal.

 

That you will have surprises us with a new band Therion?

If I tell that, they will not be surprises anymore!

Have a date for a new album? or tour?

Our upcoming shows are this summer at ARTmania festival in Romania, Made of Metal in Czech Republic and in autumn at Female Voices Festival in Belgium.

 

You will continue with your other bands Kein Zurück and Thunderstorm?

I don’t know that right now. We will see.

 

What kind of art you show us musically, dramatic, passionate or another?

I think all together! Singing is not just producing some sounds, it’s much much more!

 

What kind of classical influences you? and within the metal scene?

I’m a professional classical singer and I sing like that on stage. I think it’s a good contrast with Linnea who is a strong and also very professional rock singer. And Thomas sings in both ways, so we are a nice trio! And we are all blond!

 

Which style is your favorite and why, Goth, Symphonic or Power?

I would say Symphonic, but it also depends on the performers.

 

You are very beautiful with exquisite voice! What do you think of that?

For opera singing looks are not that important - the audience is pretty far from the stage, so they don’t see your face so well and everyone is concentrated on your voice. That is why it needs to be really good, which takes a lot of efforts! It’s funny that Linnea and me look so similar - sometimes when i look at our pictures from concerts i am puzzled who is who.

 

Something else we want to share with us?

I have a very cute Scottish fold cat, his name is Arthur! When I rehearse at home, he always comes close to listen to me, and by his reaction I see whether it’s good. Sometimes he even sings along!

Saludos mis amigos! Un Ángel nos cayó del Cielo! Si nuestra amiga Sandra Laureano! Talentosa y muy guapa! Nos brindó esta pequeña entrevista! Para todos ustedes! , hablemos un poco de ella

Sandra Laureano de Origen Croata ha venido trabajando de manera muy presente en diversas bandas desde el 2008, entre ellas son  Kein Zurück y Thunderstorm, en la primera banda como vocalista y en la segunda como bajista, que por cierto que hábil!  

 

Recientemente la banda sueca Therion, nos sorprendió cuando fue confirmada como parte de la nueva alineación.

 

Bueno! Pues adelante con la entrevista! 

 

Hola amiga, muchas gracias por esta oportunidad para saber más de ti. Permíteme felicitarte por pertenecer a una de las mejores bandas en el metal como lo es Therion. Estamos en espera de una gran sorpresa!

Cuéntanos algo sobre ti, como ha sido tu carrera artística?

 

Hasta el momento he sido cantante de ópera, con ciertas participaciones en el metal y otros proyectos de música moderna.

 

Qué tipo de estudios has tenido?

 

Piano y opera. También estudié órgano, mandolina, guitarra y bajo.

 

Como entrenas tu voz? es muy hermosa. Cuál es tu rango vocal?

 

Entreno varias veces a la semana, pero también depende de que tan seguido hay ensayos.

Tengo un rango muy extenso 3,5 octavos así que puedo producir ambos sonidos, muy altos o muy bajos. Pero en el canto lo más importante es alcanzar un sonido de voz noble.

Si tienes un rango extenso pero le falta calidad a tu voz, entonces nadie te escuchara.

Tengo un rango extenso por naturaleza pero me tomó años alcanzar un nivel alto de canto.

 

 

Por qué escogiste a la banda Therion?

 

Christopher, el fundador de Therion, y su novia Mina, escriben para mí cualquier cosa que quiera interpretar con la banda. Me gustaban desde antes así que decidí darle una oportunidad.

He sentido el apoyo por todos los miembros de la banda desde el primer día de ensayo.

 

Habrá sorpresas con Therion?

 

Si te lo dijera, ya no sería sorpresa!.

Tienen fecha para nuevo álbum o tour?

 

Nuestros shows más próximos, para este verano en Rumania el ARTmania festival y en Republica Checa el festival Made of Metal. En otoño el Female Voices Festival en Bélgica.

 

Continuaras con tus otras bandas "kein zuruck" y "thunderstorm"?

 

Aun no lo sé.

 

Qué tipo de arte nos muestras musicalmente? drama, pasión u otro?

 

Siento que todas juntas! Cantar no es solo producir sonidos, es mucho más.

 

Qué tipo de influencias tienes? dentro de la escena del metal?

 

Soy una cantante clásica profesional, siento que es buen contraste con Linnea, quien es una cantante rock muy profesional.

 

Thomas canta en ambas formas, así que formamos un buen trío, además todos somos rubios!.

 

Que estilo es tu favorito y por qué? gótico, sinfónico o power?

 

Yo diría que el sinfónico, pero también depende del interprete.

 

Eres hermosa y tienes una voz exquisita, qué opinas de esto?

 

Para cantar ópera la apariencia no es muy importante, la audiencia está bastante lejos del escenario así que no ven tu rostro, solo se concentran en tu voz.

Es por eso que debes ser bueno, eso necesita de todo tu esfuerzo!.

Es curioso que Linnea y yo somos muy parecidas, a veces cuando veo las fotografías de los conciertos, me pongo a descubrir quién es quién.

 

Algo más que quieras compartir con nosotros?

 

Tengo un gato llamado Arthur! y cuando practico en casa el se acerca a escucharme y con sus reacciones puedo ver si es algo bueno. El incluso canta solo.
