The Paris-based Death Metal/ Thrash Metal band, Lokurah, is set to release their

third full-length album entitled Distorted Truth for their growing fanbase via Crimson

Productions on November 4, 2022. The band has produced powerful modern metal

without finding a middle ground. These 12 tracks give contemporary metal the same

electrifying heat that was brought to the table by various metal predecessors back in

1986. With Ouzoulias’s thunderous drum beats falling in line with Toty’s intoxicating

guitar riffs, Gelliot’s clean-cut vocals can be heard from what seems like the other side

of the globe. After nearly 20 years since their self-titled EP, the band makes it known

that they’ve still got what it takes.

The absolute grit and fire brought to the table by these tracks is remarkably

pristine. I feel as if I’m instantaneously taken to Sweden’s Studio Fredman whilst

listening to this record.The amount of feeling and passion being the vocals is not only

unblemished by the volume of instruments, but it’s enhanced due to the monstrous

melodies and downright kick-ass glimpse into what’s going on inside their heads. Many

bands come up short when attempting to share their very own auditory scrapbook, but

Lokurah brings their A-game and nothing less. They have come such a long way,

musically and emotionally, in their almost 20 years of service dedicated to the music

industry. The band has been able to keep heads banging and that’s what truly means

the most to such an incredible group of their nature.

 

Personally, I never knew that I needed this band in my life until “Void Factory”

was cranked up to 12. You can hear the undeniable influence from bands like

Hatebread, Slipknot, as well as Machine Head. The colors of the group are profoundly

exaggerated in the best way possible due to their style of tuning and the arrangement of

the harmonies along with the riffs brought to you by the bass and guitars. Their

monumental melodies that drive this album, rather they be loud and rough or slow and

passionate, make me want to get up and quite literally scream along. After riding an

unerring roller coaster from track 1 to track 12, I can genuinely say that Lokurah can

and definitely will bring the high-octane, edge-of-the-seat metal that we’ve all been

looking for!

La banda parisina de Death Metal/ Thrash Metal, Lokurah, está lista para lanzar su

tercer álbum de larga duración titulado Distorted Truth para su creciente base de fans a través de Crimson Productions el 4 de noviembre de 2022. La banda ha producido un poderoso metal moderno sin encontrar un término medio. Estas 12 pistas le dan al metal contemporáneo lo mismo calor electrizante que fue traído a la mesa por varios predecesores de metal en 1986. Con los estruendosos ritmos de batería de Ouzoulias en consonancia con los embriagadores de Toty riffs de guitarra, la voz limpia de Gelliot se puede escuchar desde lo que parece ser el otro lado del globo Luego de casi 20 años desde su EP homónimo, la banda lo da a conocer que todavía tienen lo que se necesita.

La determinación y el fuego absolutos que aportan estos temas son notablemente

prístino. Siento como si me llevaran instantáneamente al Studio Fredman de Suecia mientras escuchando este disco. La cantidad de sentimiento y pasión de las voces no es solo

impecable por el volumen de los instrumentos, pero mejorado debido a la monstruosa

melodías y un vistazo francamente increíble de lo que está pasando dentro de sus cabezas. Mucho las bandas se quedan cortas cuando intentan compartir su propio álbum de recortes auditivo, pero Lokurah trae su juego, ah y nada menos. Han recorrido un largo camino, musical y emocionalmente, en sus casi 20 años de servicio dedicados a la música industria. La banda ha sido capaz de mantener la cabeza golpeando y eso es lo que realmente significa lo máximo a un grupo tan increíble de su naturaleza.

 

Personalmente, nunca supe que necesitaba esta banda en mi vida hasta "Void Factory".

fue subido a 12. Puedes escuchar la innegable influencia de bandas como Hatebread, Slipknot y Machine Head. Los colores del grupo son profundamente exageradas de la mejor manera posible por su estilo de afinación y la disposición de las armonías junto con los riffs traídos por el bajo y las guitarras. Sus melodías monumentales que impulsan este álbum, ya sean fuertes y ásperas o lentas y apasionados, me dan ganas de levantarme y literalmente gritar. Después de montar una montaña rusa infalible de la pista 1 a la pista 12, puedo decir genuinamente que Lokurah puede y definitivamente traerá el metal de alto octanaje al borde del asiento que todos hemos estado ¡buscando!
