The first full-length album "The Void and the Unbearable Loss" which was released on October 9, 2020.

Invernoir is a project that was born from the desire to revive the doom sounds of the 90s, inspired by the best albums of bands such as My Dying Bride, Anathema, Katatonia and Paradise Lost.

Invernoir is cold and decadence, it is the anguish for the consciousness of not having a goal, it is the lack of answers, it is apathy ... it is pain.

​

The band has played as support for: Candlemass, Ahab, Skepticism, Shores of Null, Naga, Weeping Silence.

​

Slow chords and gloomy background atmosphere, long extension, synonymous with what is to come and besides being eponymous, melancholy, gloomy with discreet sounds, saturation with denser chords and low scales.

The Path

​

We started with higher rhythm and melody hypnotic riffs, stronger chords, tortured sounds, gloomy and screams of pain, leaving clean voices with soft and heartbreaking scales.

House of Debris

​

Sublime, discreet chords similar to the first song, with some keyboards that come to sublimate this heartbreaking Gothic / Doom atmosphere and using the vocal range on low scales that both create with a clean and heartbreaking voice, deep throaty and short.

Suspended Alive

​

Gloomy atmosphere that gives us an opening as at the beginning of the album, there is a rich, heavy, dark and heartbreaking rhythm, sounds a little softer to this melodic, pungent setting with heartbreaking, clean and terrifying voices.

Cast Away

​

It begins with a clean, smooth, harmonic sound, with slow and long scales, the play of clean and heartbreaking voices, a song a little less gloomy and more striking.

​

The Burden

​

A thicker and stronger chord, with constant rhythm, heavier sound and ambience, there are melodic dissonant harmonics, the clean and heartbreaking voices melt together and others move away from each other, with some words spoken in Italian near the end of the song .

At Night

​

A sharp chord together with a heartbreaking voice with a lot of anger and melancholy open this song with greater suspense and fatal atmosphere. There is dissonant rhythmic penetration with an aggressive touch throughout the track, an excellent doom!

The Loneliest

​

An acoustic ending, soft in this introduction with which a heavy atmosphere of sadness quickly brings us down, there is an anguish that is enjoyed and felt, an indifferent sound with sustained coldness without denser chords, but the guttural is what finally tears.

My Recommendation

​

An excellent album with a 90s-style Doom Metal, for the introduction of a guttural given within Death Metal, slow atmospheres, with sustained scales as it should and low, short and low riffs, combining clean voices, heartbreaking and guttural rich songs In pain and affliction, a mixture of varied instruments such as synthesizers and dense and acoustic chords, The Void and the Unbearable Loss album brings us together funeral sounds that encapsulates us in past decades with a Doom full of perfect somber and frivolous sounds.

El primer álbum de larga duración "The Void and the Unbearable Loss" que se lanzó el 9 de octubre de 2020.

 

Invernoir es un proyecto que nace del deseo de revivir los sonidos doom de los 90, inspirado en los mejores discos de bandas como My Dying Bride, Anathema, Katatonia y Paradise Lost.

 

Invernoir es frío y decadencia, es la angustia por la conciencia de no tener un objetivo, es la falta de respuestas, es la apatía ... es el dolor.

Acordes lentos y atmosfera lúgubre de fondo, extensión larga, sinónimo de lo que viene y además de epónima, melancolía, sombría con sonoridades discretas, saturación con acordes más densos y escalas bajas.

The Path

​

Iniciamos con mayor ritmo y melodía riffs hipnóticos, acordes más fuertes, sonidos torturados, sombríos y gritos de dolor, dejando voces limpias con escalas suaves y desgarradoras.

​

House of Debris

​

Acordes sublimes, discretos semejantes a la primera canción, con algunos teclados que vienen a sublimar esta atmosfera Gothic / Doom desgarradora y usando el rango vocal en escalas bajas que ambos crean con voz limpia y desgarradora, gutural profundo y breves.

​

Suspended Alive

​

Atmosfera sombría que nos da una apertura como al inicio del álbum, hay una rica rítmica pesada, oscura y desgarradora, sonidos un poco más suaves a esta ambientación melódica, punzante con voces desgarradoras, limpias y terroríficas.

​

Cast Away

​

Inicia con un sonido limpio, suave, armónico, con escalas lentas y largas, el juego de voces limpias y desgarradoras, una canción un poco menos sombría y más llamativa.

​

The Burden

​

Un acorde más denso y fuerte, con ritmo constante, un sonido y ambiente más pesado, hay armónicos disonantes melódicos, las voces limpias y desgarradoras se funden y otras se alejan una de otra, con algunas palabras habladas en italiano cercano al final de la canción.

​

At Night

​

Un acorde agudo junto a una voz desgarradora con mucha ira y melancolía nos abren esta canción con mayor suspenso y ambientación fatal. Hay penetración rítmica disonante con un toque agresivo en toda la pista, un doom excelente!

​

The Loneliest

​

Un final acústico, suave en esta introducción con la que rápidamente una ambientación pesada de tristeza nos abate, hay una angustia que se disfruta y se siente, un sonido indiferente con frialdad sostenida sin acordes más densos, pero el gutural es lo que desgarra finalmente.

​

Mi Recomendación

​

Un excelente álbum con un Doom Metal de estilo de los 90, por la introducción de un gutural dado dentro del Death Metal, atmosferas lentas, con escalas sostenidas como debe y bajas, riffs breves y graves, combinando voces limpias, desgarradores y guturales canciones ricas en dolor y aflicción, mezcla de variados instrumentos como sintetizadores y acordes densos y acústicos, el álbum de The Void and the Unbearable Loss nos reúne sonidos fúnebres que nos encapsula en décadas pasadas con un Doom repleto de sonidos sombríos y frívolos perfectos.
